Just wow!Came here to celebrate besties bday and was blown away. I'm kind of a nerd for art deco so I loved everything about the look and feel. This is definitely a 3rd date kinda place, if you catch my drift.The martini / champagne cart idea is pure genius. Even though our martinis weren't made how we wanted them, they were still delicious. Since we didn't get the martinis just right we switch to a flight of champagne. Tiny bubbles - tiny troubles! Pair that with a half dozen oysters and I'm a happy camper. Choose east coast it's more briny!On to the deviled eggs with caviar. Umm what? And yes! Who would have thought? It's good!Then to the Caesar with chicken and prawns just because. Now that's a Caesar salad. Chefs kiss to that dressing! With chunky croutons. That's the ticketThe entrees we had the steak with au jus. Medium rare and I'm there. Literally melts in your mouth.Then to top it off a panna cotta with a bday sundae. The panna cotta was smooth and set perfectly. Couldn't have ask for a better meal!The service - spectacular! Sure did help that our server was gorgeous. So there's that.Would I come back? Absolutely! Hats off to the chef!

A co worker and I came in today to have lunch here for the first time. Our office just moved to the building recently so we couldn't wait to try this place out. Upon our arrival, I couldn't help but look at all the decor. It gave me speakeasy and Gatsby vibes. We sat at the bar and I enjoyed a ginger lemonade which was super refreshing that I drank with my food. For food, we shared some cruda which I had never heard of that was on their small plates menu. YUM! I could have just had that as my meal for lunch and been happy as a clam. However, after we had our appetizer, I ordered my lunch which was a truffle cheese sandwich with avocado and it was to die for especially with the garlic fries as a side. Service was really fast and the server who was tending to us was super friendly and attentive. I love that he asked us if we wanted everything all at once or to send things out one by one. This was super helpful since we had to go back to work right after.I will definitely come back and try something else on the menu next time =)

I went here with my colleagues for a work related lunch. I worked in the financial district for over 17 years and now primarily work part time from home so it's always a treat to go back to the Fidi! It brings back all the fun memories of working downtown i.e. happy hours, amazing, delicious lunches and overall just a fun time. I used to always pass by One Sansome Street daily during one of my first jobs and it was just open space back then. I was so excited to check out the place. You can opt to sit outside or inside their restaurant. We chose the latter and the ambiance is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. I opted to share slow cooked salmon salad and the dungeness crab pasta which were both good but not outstanding. It could have used a bit more flavor. But overall, our experience was great. It's a cute place for a work lunch or happy hour. I definitely want to return to try the rest of their menu.

You flip the switch and a lightbulb turns on and the appropriate cart comes to your table. - Can specifically reserve as a martini tableMartinis: can customize and comes with a cart and mixed tableside - Champagne: I'm a big fan and approved of the selections by the glass. - Vesper: one of the better versions I've had and properly chilled. 4.5 stars. - French fry trio: combo of a Parmesan, sweet potato, and steak fries. We're fry fans and all were excellent. 4 stars - Service: staff was attentive and delightful Midlights:- Atmosphere: was quite dead even on a Friday night so was lacking life or the upscale classy feel the website did a good job of setting expectations for.- Thought the martini cart would be more grand than it was Lowlights:- Emailed about the differences between the menus at each type of table you can reserve because wasn't clear in the descriptions and they never wrote back Enjoyed to pop in for a cocktail and would be back--also to try some more food items.

This place is beautiful inside! I don't know what this used to be, but I think it was a bank. We had reservations for a Wednesday night and I was surprised by how busy this place was. It was literally shoulder to shoulder. We are so glad we made reservations. I love how you can order your drinks from a switch of a button and the staff would stroll on by with the cart and ask what you would love to drink. We ended up getting the Martini espresso, collet(champagne), and the French 75 (cognac). All the drinks were good! This is service was one of the highlights of the place. When it came to the food all the dishes had small portions and the food was just so so. The best was the flight for fries as it came with different sauces for dipping. The caviar bumps was not really worth it for that price, just save your money. The baked oysters and devil eggs were mediocre. I've had way better elsewhere. The most disappointing dish was the ribeye. This dish was so small for $50.00. I rather go to original Joe's for that price for double or triple the size. I guess since we were in downtown we were paying for the ambiance over the food. I'll only come back for the drinks.

Such a good experience. If you're looking for really good cocktails in an elevated setting, this is the perfect spot.I've been here twice. The first time I had the Manhattan and the second time I did the champagne flight. I also had appetizers both times. The food was very good and the drinks were outstanding.The vibe in this bar is next level. Amazing attention to detail and really good service as well. One of my favorite spots in the city.

This is a perfect FiDi high end champagne, cocktail and modern gastro pub place with perfect fine dining / business / date vibe.We got the charcuterie board with honeycomb (delicious), the caviar (their specialty here), bread + honeycomb go well together.they have bar seats with lush velvets, and booth seat that are so classy with leather finish. Everything is beautiful and ornate, picture worthy. we were back here for a date. Business dinner is a great idea too, host it here.They have a light for martini and champagne. We enjoy calling for champagne pours. It is just so extra and so fun.We got the devil eggs, which my date loved but I a little less. The cocktail that tastes exactly like French 75 is amazing for me as a champagne fanatic like myself want to wind down the drinking for healthier lifestylesWe also had the day boat scallop crudo, delicious, pretty, well plated awesome recommend! Picture perfectThe rigatoni was so rustic, rich and delicious it was one of the best rigatoni I had in a long while. Reminded me of Fuzio on chestnut a long time ago.Had the slow cooked beef's A bit dry for me but beautifully plated. It is actually cooked to perfection. I am just a more tender, grill person. Overall amazing, reminds me of consulting days. Love it

I came here for a lunch. The best part was probably the service; our waitress was great. The food was fine; not great, not bad, just fine. Although the outdoor atrium area looked nice, it brought quite a lot of bugs to our food, so sitting fully inside the restaurant is likely the better option.

Came here for a work dinner and had a great time! The service was fast and our waiter made a lot of great recommendations. My steak was delicious but my favorite bite of food was probably the champagne strawberry shortcake, highly recommend! I also loved the flight of fries, particularly the sweet potato fries. Really cute bar in a great spot downtown.

The whole experience from check in w/ Genevieve to our server Fabian to the lovely woman running the martini and champagne carts -- was amazing! Great service, great drinks and good food! Love Holbrook House!
