A great place to satisfy your chocolate cravings! The Good Chocolate offers the perfect chocolate bars/squares that have zero sugar with locally sourced ingredients. Their dark chocolate variants are to die for.I tried their Mint and Himalayan Salt flavors and was in bliss with how tasty they were. Not too sweet but still delectable and knowing it has zero sugar makes it even better. Great chocolate flavors minus the guilt, what more could you ask for? They have various locations throughout SF, if you'd like to check them out. They also do an AirBnB Experience where you get to see how their bars are made while enjoying some soothing live jazz!Overall, a great spot to get your chocolate that has a healthy twist to it. 10/10 would recommend!

As someone who's on the cusp of pre-diabetes and still on my personal journey to keep my sugar down, I am so happy to discover this hidden gem in Visitacion Valley through Yelp! For a while now, I'm always on the search for dark chocolates as I have been advised by my doctor to munch on these instead to curb my appetite for my sweet cravings. The Good Chocolate will definitely be an addition to my stash of dark chocolate in the office and at home. What hooked me to Good Chocolate was that their chocolates are zero sugar (sweetened with erythritol, mesquite and stevia), 100% organic, KETO & Paleo friendly, soy free and has a low glycemic index. I also love that they're handcrafted locally in San Francisco - yay to local businesses!Ben & Miki are the co-founders of the store/factory. I love how he shared the 411 on how Good Chocolate came to be. Nestled in Visitacion Valley, the store opened to SF in 2017 so it's only been two years but their chocolates are sold in Bi-Rite stores, Rainbow Grocery, and also in the Ferry Building. The idea of Good Chocolate came to be when Ben began having dental issues due to the fact that he was big on sugar. He wanted to live a healthier lifestyle, hence cutting on his added sugar intake from his diet - and viola, @thegoodchocolate was born! Not only did he lose 10 pounds, but their dentist applauded him for taking good care of his teeth. I loooove all things mint so the 65% Dark Chocolate Mint automatically was a winner for me. But seriously, it was really good even though it was only 65% dark chocolate. Himalayan Sea Salt is the runner up. I still don't know how I feel about the Ginger though - I had to try the samples thrice but I couldn't really tell or taste the ginger in there. The other people I talked to said it's very subtle. We were also offered to drink wine, zero sugar hot chocolate, help ourselves to snacks (pretzels, chips, nuts, chocolate covered-strawberries, pretzels and the like) while listening to Miki's voice, and the jazz music in the background. Moreover, we got to make our own chocolate bar with inclusions such as mulberries, toasted coconut, cocoa nibs, etc. We had the skinny on what it's like to make sugar-free chocolate, and even wrap our own chocolate bars too! It really did feel like being in a Willy Wonka factory because they were wrapped in gold foil wrappers. I had my coworkers try my chocolate concoction and they said I should petition or ask the flavor to be in their stores!!Thanks @thegoodchocolate for creating a guilt-free treat we can indulge on & encouraging a lifestyle while still thinking about healthier food choices in mind.Fun fact: if you want to be on a tour, you are able to do so with Airbnb experience!!

What a great find! Thanx Instagram.I received a number of the flavors in the mail an excitedly dug into them... All so tasty with subtle flavor (Ginger, Salted Almond, Mint ect) .The majority of the variations are 65% Dark with one Milk Chocolate and all contain no Sugar and made with a few simple ingredients (no huge list of unpronounceable ingredients here!) This is such a great little company which from I can tell only sell online via their website but are based right here in in California! San Francisco to be exact. If you're looking to reduce Sugar intake without compromising on treats I recommend giving this a try.

Recently started the keto diet and if you're familiar with it u know sugar is on the list of things you can't have. I follow a lot of different keto pages on Instagram and I see that LA has a bunch of low carb/keto-friendly bakery's and candy shops and what not. So I decided to search on yelp. This place is the first thing that pops up because guess what........ I live 2-3 blocks away! The location is very easy to find, right across from the Bank of America parking lot. We walked in and got helped right away. The cashier offered us samples which we proceeded to try every single one. Some more than once!! LOL All of them were tasty I personally just don't have the taste for dark chocolate so on this diet I've been trying to find decent sweets for awhile now. So when I tell u, I tasted the Dark Milk chocolate and instantly fell in love!!! Im thinking of making some chocolate covered strawberries/almonds with it. As much as I hate dark chocolate, THIS I can get down with. I'm definitely going to come back for more. 7 net carbs??? For a whole bar. Count me in LOL but yeah anyone looking for some good sugar free chocolate, I highly recommend this place (:

Definitely a hidden gem! Who would have thought that this small chocolate factory would exist in a small neighborhood called Visitacion Valley? They have 6 flavors, which are, Signature Dark, Dark Milk, Himalayan Salt, Ginger, Mint and Salted Almonds. All of the chocolates are ZERO sugar. 0% sugar, organic, keto friendly and mostly vegan. Most chocolates are 65% dark chocolates except for the Dark Milk which is 54%. The company uses Erythritol, Stevia, Mesquite and Vanilla as sugar alternatives. All are 100%! The owner/founder of the chocolate company, Ben Glass, is such a down-to-earth and welcoming man. The staff are very friendly and welcoming! I strongly recommend this place. You can find their chocolates around local grocery stores in San Francisco such as in Bi-Rite, Rainbow Grocery, Market Mayflower & Deli or Cal-Mart. You can also order the chocolates online through Amazon, or at an online grocery store at myPanier (www.mypanier.com) or at the local website of The Good Chocolate (www.goodchocolate.com).I strongly recommend this place.

This chocolate is delicious, low carb and sugar free, what a treat! And it comes in so many flavors, but to have a milk chocolate and NO GUILT? Perfection and they deliver nationwide.

Our family lives within walking distance of this chocolate factory. I have enjoyed the chocolate since 2018 when my wife brought me my first bar. I couldn't believe it was sugar free. Last night we attended a special event where we learned about the history of chocolate, the impact of sugar and the Good Chocolates disruption of the industry. Oh yes - we made our own bar and enjoyed incredible Jazz, what an evening. This review is long overdue! My favorite flavor is ginger, but also enjoy the Himalayan salted chocolate. Thank you Ben and Noa for your vision and creative leadership.

The Good Chocolate is an amazing brand, my favorite chocolate hands down. We are lucky this brand exists. In my view this is the highest quality chocolate in terms of ingredients and with its complex, pleasing flavor. My favorites are Ginger, Mint, Salted Almond, and Himalayan Salt. I never feel deprived with these treats. Indeed, I prefer TGC over regular sugar treats..no guilt, no sugar crash and delish. Thank you, Ben and Miki!

Not being a fan of any type of non-sugar sweetener, especially erythritol and stevia (blech!), I suspended all disbelief and walked into The Good Chocolate factory, which happens to be in my neighborhood. What the heck? To my utter amazement, the chocolate samples I was offered were fabulous. The taste of chocolate - really fine chocolate - came through with flying colors and no chemically, bitter or nasty aftertaste. What a find! I plan to buy this chocolate as often as I can and might even stop by tomorrow. That being said, their chocolates can be ordered from their website and delivered anywhere in the country. What a nice gift these would make.

Best chocolate ever. I love the vegan bar that they have! I also love the mint chocolate and the ginger chocolate. It's great to walk by and either buy a bar or have a few samples. NO SUGAR! That's a huge plus. Glad to have this spot right around the corner!
