The Coffee Movement

Coffee movement never disappoints - their affordable prices and smooth, rich espresso makes me crave a solid latte every time im in the area.I love how efficient they are by working in a service line, makes the long lines go by very quick. The interior is always clean and well-kept. I enjoy grabbing their freshly roasted beans for making espresso at home. I always recommend coffee movement to anyone I know who is visiting the city!

Cute little cafe located on Balboa with the shittest parking situation. Aside from the parking, everything else was spot on.Environment, staff, vibes & coffee were quite immaculate. It was a busy Thursday afternoon and I ordered that rosemary latte which seems to be so famous. If it weren't for the parking situation, I'd be here more often. Tucked in a little neighborhood, you'll find this cute cafe that serves great coffee. I got a café latte, super smooth, super rich, super yummy! Their pastries do run out if you get their a little later in the afternoon so better to go early if you're looking to grab some. Seating is pretty limited as since it's a small place so it's more of suited for takeout but will def be coming back :)

The Coffee Movement is very popular. I usually see them with a line out the door and today was no exception. Still the line moves fast and they have a concise yet satisfying menu to choose from. I selected the Tasting Flight, served hot, and my companion had the slow drip. Both were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful when I had questions. There was seating (outdoor included) luckily as it was a full house and we enjoyed our well done coffee in this packed yet elegant setting.

Nowadays I tend to be very selective when I go out to get coffee. I'm kind of picky with my coffee and there's nothing I hate more than coffee that is watered down or coffee drinks that just taste like milk or syrup. I'm glad to say that The Coffee Movement did not disappoint.Service/Ambiance: Service was straight forward. You had one barista take your order then another make your drink while another helps you check out and pay. The inside is modern and has a minimalist sleek design to it. Very clean inside with limited seats.Drinks: Menu is super simple which I enjoy; just the basics of coffee. I ordered the Filter (Iced) which is basically an Iced Coffee/Cold Brew. A 12 oz drink was $4. I found this price to be super reasonable and affordable especially compared to other places. Drink tasted amazing! Coffee has a great and strong lasting taste. I highly recommend this place! Heads up that there was a line when I visited but I think it's worth the wait.

I LOVE THIS COFFEE SHOP. Executed beautifully and impressively thought out. The coffee is prepared in front of you and the line moves quickly on the weekends. They don't charge extra for oat milk which is nice. The baristas are always super friendly. Love the baked goods delivered daily from Juniper! My favorite is the ham and cheese croissant but I also love the almond raspberry croissant

This spot is literally 2 blocks away from me and I have no intentions of holding back. The coffee is delicious! I'm a fan of their seasonal drinks. Interior design is modernized with a couple seats available to do work or hang out. The baristas are friendly as well. Such a neighborhood gem!

在咖啡荒漠别太挑剔两家门店都奇奇怪怪Nob Hill Washington St越来越脏乱，依旧不让在室内站着喝，空间也确实有限Inner Richmond Balboa St虽然有些座位，但是地址偏离市区接力做咖啡的形式挺有意思，点单的咖啡师负责萃取浓缩和打热奶泡，递给结账的咖啡师在客人面前拉花·····coffee cream soda【浓缩汤力水】espresso 浓缩｜FEVER-TREE premium tonic water 奎宁水｜orange zest 橘子皮｜vanilla bean 香荚兰｜coconut whipped cream 椰子奶盖浓缩寡淡到毫无存在感，气泡、清新，应该是对于这杯迷你饮品的记忆，接近底部才会出现奎宁自带的植物性苦味奶盖值得表扬，打发程度完美的奶油，点缀以恰到好处的椰香，口感浓密且柔软，单独吃也不会甜腻，可惜量太少·····piccolo【短笛】很满意今日份小可爱，浓缩散发着淡淡的花香，入口时主要感受到苦，酸度则在舌尖保留，但是和Oatly燕麦奶的融合度一般，存在分层的问题·····latte【拿铁】奶泡层太厚，好在口感是绵密细腻的，浓缩寡淡，有些微弱的苦涩，Ghost Town燕麦奶偏甜，两者相结合，效果竟然还可以，但很不喜欢收尾阶段强烈的回酸·····chai tea latte【混合香料茶拿铁】black tea 红茶｜milk 任意奶｜cinnamon 肉桂｜cardamom 小豆蔻｜ginger 生姜｜pepper 胡椒｜malt 大麦芽步入冬季，肯定少不了暖香料热饮，像这样一杯柔和、且后调不涩的出品也实属难得，嗅着小豆蔻香气，感受甜姜茶带来的辛辣，与Ghost Town燕麦奶融合，整体口味清淡·····【Hot Toddy】espresso 浓缩｜lemon 柠檬｜honey 蜂蜜｜"whiskey" (0% abv) 无酒精威士忌｜smoked apple garnish 烟熏苹果片装饰直接从保温壶里倒出的预制品，甜苦平衡，最突出的风味是果皮所带来的涩感，清新自然的柠檬酸贯穿始终，有点意思·····【friedhats｜gesha clouds｜colombia】风味：passion fruit 百香果｜lemon sorbet 柠檬雪葩｜guava 番石榴种草了这家来自荷兰阿姆斯特丹的烘豆品牌！状态好稳定，百香果的香气热烈且直接，明亮、舒适、易饮的果酸，伴随着接下来的每一口，回味中充满了糖果般的甜美温度下降之后，酸度有所减弱，苦味显现，却很大程度地提升了甜

This coffee shop is perfect, I literally have no notes. I literally am like... I need to gatekeep this place because it's getting so popular but The Coffee Movement is the best coffee in SF and it's not even close. There's a specific movement towards speciality coffee in SF / a lot of places are popping up but the coffee here is made with so much care and the vibe is japanese minimalist.They also just added WIFI which is such a game changer.

A thoughtfully designed space (though seating is limited for the popularity!) with sweet and friendly baristas, a clean restroom, and excellent coffee. I stopped by on my way to Sutro Baths on a Saturday afternoon. There was a line out the door and into the street (about 3-4 parties out the door when I got in line). The baristas at the front were all able to carry conversations with customers while keeping the line moving quickly, big props to them for excellent service!I normally don't enjoy light roasts, but their Gesha coffee was the biggest standout and I loved it. It tastes like tea, with notes of lemon and jasmine. We also ordered a piccolo which was acidic but still creamy and muted. Of course, their house blend, the darkest roast they have, was also excellent.Despite their small menu, I think their coffee covers a good range of palates and preferences and I highly recommend. Their pastry selection is limited (I only saw a few muffins) but if you just want to grab a cup of coffee and go, this is your place. I'll be back to try the three-cup coffee flight (fun fact: you can get it two different ways! A shot of espresso prepared three different ways, or three different pour-overs).
