The Coffee Berry SF

I stumbled upon this coffee shop while looking for a caffeine pick me up, and I'm so glad I did! This little café is a gem--cozy, inviting, and serving up some of the best coffee in the city. I ordered the dirty matcha. The flavors were bold and smooth. You could tell the matcha they used was of high quality. The staff clearly take pride in their craft, and it shows in every sip. The staff was also friendly and quick, even during the afternoon rush. Seating is somewhat limited, but if you can snag a spot, it's a great place to relax or get some work done.

I saw good reviews for this place near my old apartment so I thought I would check it out. It's a small shop with a few tables and counter seating. I snagged a seat by the window. My iced dirty chai latte was good but as previously mentioned, the alternate milk option is pricey at $1.25. Hopefully they can lower the price soon. The pastries were the standout items. First was the bacon and cheddar scone. The scone was savory without being heavy or dry. The chocolate and cardamom bun was the perfect amount of sweetness. Everyone there was really nice and welcomed everyone with a smile.

I never hear people talk about this small cafe, but they have great lattes & pastries. What I'm most curious to try is their matcha since I believe it is hand whisked! Even though this place is small, I wouldn't discount it and the line is much shorter than the surrounding cafe options.

1/2/25 - Super chill coffee shop and the owners and customers seem super chill with each others banana walnut bread was so good and I love their chai oat milk latte! So good!

Cute spot with a clean aesthetic. Fast and friendly service. Pumping out tasty drinks like the one I got today - iced caramel latte. I wish the plant based milk options weren't $1.25 though

After parking in the garage on Lombard street I embarked on a long trek uphill. The Coffee Berry was a perfect place for a pit stop. The special of the day was a Nutella latte and to accompany it, I got one of there fresh almond croissants. They stay pretty busy here but staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a few tables and chairs to sit at while you enjoy your delicious pastry. My latte was made to order and was piping hot. The latte had great flavor but the only hint of Nutella I had was the chocolate drizzle on top. The croissant, was light, buttery, and perfectly sweet. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. Next time I'm in town, I'd love to try some of their other pastries and delicious coffee.

Stumbled upon this super cute coffee shop while in the neighborhood!Didn't get to try their coffee this time around because I was craving matcha, but their matcha was the perfect amount of tea to milk ratio...not too overly strong and unsweetened! Which I always appreciateMy friend got the chai latte and she devoured it, so I'm assuming it's pretty good as well. Might have to stop by again when I'm in this part of town and try out their coffee

I was at Lombard street showing some friends who came to town all the touristy stuff. I was exhausted and needed a pick me up so we just found a random coffeee shop near us and this place was so cute! Small coffee shop, the coffee was great, pastry was yummy, and the people were so kind. I would definitely come back or make this my go to place if I lived nearby.

Love this place, great pastries. My fav is the iced caramel latte with oat milk. Great tasting coffee and quick service. Stamp card too :)

My favorite coffee shop.I love this place so much that I thought it's time to write a review. I am neighborhood local and come here everyday- sometimes twice a day. SF is not short on amazing local coffee shops but this one has stolen my heart- and my tastebuds. The coffee is absolutely my favorite. I don't know how or why the coffee here tastes SO good but it just does. I've abandoned my other favorites in SF for this one. I also love the neighborhood, friendly, kind feeling of the folks that own and run this shop. I feel like I know them and they know me. They're a part of my day now. They know my son and always make it a point to say hi to him and play peekaboo or blow bubbles for him (even if he doesn't really do much back- sorry JC and Jose, I think he needs a few more months ). I love this place. Go here. Try their coffee, chat, and my god- buy a pastry- you won't be sorry.
