The Burrow

The nicest people work here, especially the gentleman with the best service, the most positive attitude and the kindest heart in the business!Bonus...I only come in once a year (because sadly, I don't live here anymore), but that doesn't stop this guy from remembering my order down to the detail! He is definitely an asset to the company! Lol...did I mention that they have the best drinks and I drove up from San Diego and headed straight here first, to make sure I got my fix before they closed!

Boba Guys spinoff [Brisbane CA]I found the name a little odd for a boba shop when I was searching for a bubble tea place while we were in Daly City. This one is located in Brisbane which is close by. When we arrived it wasn't what we expected... I guess they still have this ordering system around in some parts of the Bay Area, it just reminded me of Covid days. We found parking right in front of the store. We placed our order immediately just outside at the entry way, no inside customer seating. It was our first time here, they had their Fall/Winter 2024 menu out... no slushie type drinks (bummer!) which was what we preferred. We chose from their Seasonal Specials: Choconana w/ boba and Rosa's Nut Latte. I had the Choconana which was chocolate sauce and Korean banana milk. Nice but a little too sweet even for me. I usually don't adjust the sweetness level but maybe I should've this time. Ambiance is whatever the weather is outside... which was drizzling in NorCal at the time. At least we were able to step in a little on the covered part of the building while placing order.Review #3635

In looooooooove with their korean banana slush and their hojicha banana one omg. I still have dreams about it haha i love visiting san fran for food prettyMuch lol and drinks and this is one of the best places for some yummy drinks ugh. Come to LA pleaseeeeeee

First off, the drinks are delicious! But unfortunately, it's the girl with the RBF in the front that ruined the experience for me. I ordered 8 drinks for me and my family, each one with specifics such as oat milk, boba, no ice, etc. So, it's definitely hard to remember which family member wanted which drink. I apologized twice for having her wait while I clarified the drinks with my family member, but she was not understanding. She did not smile at all. -_- Usually, people who work there would identify which drink is what during pick up, but she did not. She just handed it to me and sat back down in her chair. When I asked her, if these two were the jasmine green tea drinks, she said yes. But it turns out, those were the horchata drinks...-_- When a customer orders a lot of drinks, it would be helpful to label them more clearly in legible handwriting. Oh, and also give them a bag, even if it's extra charge. I didn't even bother asking her for a bag bc she was too busy counting the money/change in the register since it was almost 5 pm. I just grabbed the drinks and left in case she got more mad bc I was going to be in there past 5 pm. God forbid!

I had the best experience at The Burrow. It's Boba Guys little sister spin off. The Brisbane location is one of my favorites within the franchise. The drink, the service and the whole experience. Our cashier was very helpful, unlike the staff at San Carlos. I'll for sure being coming back here again.We found parking on a side street. This is a store front so you don't go inside. It's order online or from the door area. Our drinks were so GOOD! I ordered the Ube Latte with boba and my husband a Matcha 50% sweet. Yum! Next will be the horchata drink, Eeeeeeeee!

First time trying this place in Brisbane. Since it was my first time I really didn't know what to ordered. I ordered the matcha mango drink which I didn't really like. It didn't look like the menu. Plenty of street parking. No seating so if you plan on chatting you will need to look for near by seating or sit at car. This place is a scan to order place. There weren't anyone else so we didn't have to wait for our drinks which was good for us. If you are in this area and looking for a boba place you can give this place a try.

I did realize this was a boba guys. It was a nice cause it's in a convenient location! Boba guys is always a good move! The strawberry matcha is a classic. Great matcha and great fresh strawberries. I tried their seasonal drink, the sapin sapin. It was pretty good. The jack fruit was a little too over powering. Definitely not a chuggable drink. Regardless, boba is based on preferences. The Burrow is a great place for boba!

Strictly for customer service today or complete lack of it...Came with my team (17 people) after lunch for more treats and about half of us ended up ordering drinks. One person on my team never heard her name called and when she went to the counter to ask, they claimed that they had called her name "at least twice" and with no reply, they dumped it. What?!There is no way that 16 other people did not hear her name. But even if we did, why would you toss the drink so soon? Yeah, sure, quality of the drink is a reason but I don't actually think their cited reason is valid or true this time. The reason why I feel so strongly about this is that multiple teammates placed and received his/her order after this teammate. If they had saw an additional drink waiting on the counter, I'm quite certain they would have also pointed it out.By far, the most egregious thing was that Burrow REFUSED to remake the drink or refund the drink. My teammate was SOL and Burrow seemed perfectly content with this resolution. Remarkable! At no point was she rude or making a scene and yet she was essentially being told this whole situation was her fault. She was genuinely sad and was about to just walk away. We ended up buying the drink for her again but yes, that also means this drink was about $16 at the end of the day.Ridiculous.

Don't be fooled. The Burrow is basically Boba Guys just named differently. If you do want to know why, it's basically the OG location of all Boba Guys. Boba Guys has always been famous for their boba; it's chewy, sweet, and if you get their boba when it's fresh, it's super warm and soft. I've had this place many times and I've practically tried their entire menu for years now. If you are a starter, the strawberry matcha latte is what they are notorious for. They are the creators of this drink and no other place can match up to how good this is. AND get it with oat milk. That is the game changer milk that makes this drink incredibly good. It just tastes like a really really good strawberry milk drink. All of the matcha powder they use is the good matcha so that's why if you get their matcha latte's, its like quality good! They use fresh ingredients for all their drinks too! Everything that they make is from scratch and I hold a lot of respect to that. Along with their standard drinks, they also have seasonal drinks that they release. My favorites are their Matcha Latte, Black Sesame (seasonal), Jasmine, Strawberry Tea Fresca, Korean Banana Milk, and of course, the famously aesthetic Strawberry Matcha Latte. But please, DO NOT get their grass jelly, you will be very disappointed. It's not soft and smooth like how other places make it, and it's kind of bad. You can feel free to try it, but I don't recommend it. BUT, get their almond jelly. Yes, their almond jelly! It's soooo good. It's like milky, sweet, smooth, and you can taste a hint of the almondy-ness too.
