11.03.2023. Chicken teriyaki donburi 10.00. A decent portion for what I paid. The teriyaki seemed pretty standard. There was definitely a lot of rice in comparison to the meat, but still worth 10 bucks. There was a large selection of premade bentos and stuff on the right side of the store. The food is fine, but not something you HAVE to go try. Good for people working in the area who want a quick lunch.

There's only 137 reviews? WHAT? WHAT?Asians...they only complain online. 5 star reviews..they hardly write. It's all good, I got this. Finally stopped by for the first time in years since Covid. I was worried it would be gone, but NO, it STILL STANDS!Wow, I've known owner lady Jenny for a long time. My first job in SF was 2015 and it was probably the last great phase of SF before Covid. I've eaten at this place more than 137 times at least lol. I don't even know where to begin, Jenny's team wakes up before the crack of dawn to prepare prodigious amounts of rice, sautéd cabbage, prepping endless cuts of protein and diligently preparing all the cooked goods into simple packaging. The food itself is just amazing. Hands down, best grab n go in downtown Fidi. Extremely affordable. I...couldn't really believe it, the prices haven't changed. I know cuz..I ate here 100+ times. The quantity is slightly down on the protein side, I get it, inflation is insane yet Jenny holds the line. In a time when even my condiment staples like Siracha are failing, it's nice to know there's a bento box with my name on it and a happy simple meal waiting. This has have to be the most affordable lunch to go place around town, food here is decent but for the price your paying its a pretty good deal. I usually come here for lunch if your craving sushi come get it here, its the best around the area

Food is so good! And the people are so nice! It's a grab n go but if there's something you don't see at the shelf, they will make it for you. Delicious sushi for a very good price ! Also got rice bowls: teriyaki chicken, beef, pork salmon etc for under 15 dollars! Rolls range from 7-15$ and they're good size too can't go wrong with tha

The food is great quality and great value! It hurts my heart to see how this place has been impacted by the decline of office workers in downtown SF. The people here are really kind and make great food. This is one of the places that deserves to make it and thrive! There is a great selection of bento boxes, sushi, and sweet treats. A really solid lunch spot that I return to again and again and again! I hope you will try it out as well!

The food is so good, fresh, and at a great price. Both the teriyaki bowl and the tempura roll I got came in roughly under $20, and the owners are so friendly and sweet. No seating though since it is a to-go spot, but a great option for a quick lunch!

A good place to pick up Japanese food. Grab and go. Their selection of sushi, poke, and hand roll options were great. I didn't try the donburi so not sure on that. I tried to order curry from the menu, but the worker said they don't sell it till it gets to the colder outside. I wish there was a sign that said seasonal and it was clearer to tell what is being served to order vs grab and go. Clean and well organized shop food selection, container to place your food, and sauces/utensils.Special Roll: 4/5The fish on top was good, the tempura shrimp inside was a little lacking in certain spots of the roll. Served with mango on the side great for the price.Spicy tuna Hand roll: 5/5Actually spicy tuna and lettuce. Affordable price, it's self service so you can use the tongs to pick which you want. There's multiple hand roll options to pick from. I'll come back again to try the donburi or to grab some sushi.

This is an office favorite! Easy grab n go style and the staff is always so friendly.

Food was great! Really convenient when you're in a rush. Many options to choose from. The bowls are definitely worth trying. Very quick and friendly service too!
