Tea World

Came here just for the halo halo. They have 2 kinds. I bought it for my coworkers and they loved it. I bought the Oreo ice cream for my friend's kid and she loved it.

Initially hesitant about trying this place tucked inside a grocery store, but I'm glad I did. The Thai iced tea was simply delicious. (Cold, just the way I like it) The workers behind the counter were friendly, all smiles! They recommend guava and Thai iced tea which turned out to be just what I needed. The cashier kindly offered me samples of their ice cream, which was a pleasant surprise as they took the initiative instead of waiting for me to ask. Will definitely come back.

This Tea World is located in the food court of the Seafood City in SSF. I do like the concept of boba shops in supermarkets - it is pretty convenient when you want a quick refreshment (boba and ice cream (Mitchell's)), while doing your grocery shopping. There is a shared parking lot, but it is pretty cramped and busy in this plaza, so it may be hit or miss. It took awhile for 1 drink, even with no line, but the employee was friendly. I ordered a small green milk tea with honey boba. It was a bit expensive for the size - I paid over $6 for a small and the cup size was smaller than the typical small size. The milk tea was just alright - it had more of a bitter tea taste to it and not much creaminess / milk taste to it, and the boba was a bit on the hard / tough side though. Their standard sweetness is 50%, which I usually opt for, but I am glad that I got 75% sweetness instead because it was just decently sweet at 75%.

There are multiple places in Seafood City that offer halo halo. We decided to go to Tea World after a good friend's recommendation. We were able to order right away (the cashier was very friendly and she had a nice smile). After we received our drink (the classic ube halo halo), the owner Jeff came over to our table (food court type seating in the middle of the eateries). He was super nice and suggested that we try the leche flan first (before mixing it). He was explaining that they make their ingredients fresh. The leche flan was delicious and so was the halo halo. We're looking forward to going back - we even got the stamp card (buy 10, get 1 free). =)oh, they also have another location in Pacifica in Eureka Square.

A must place to go. Good food, great ambiance and excellence service. The best halohalo!!!!

Tea World is one of my favorite boba spot & I'm glad they opened another one here in Daly City area. It is a bit odd that it's inside the grocery store but check this out, right across it are a bunch of food stalls (filipino food + freaking Jollibee!) My go to drink is Tiger Milk Tea (I'm basic af). The staff are always friendly (just like the one in Pacifica). My only recommendation would possibly be is adding more hot drinks (For example, hot tiger milk tea with boba.. yummm). The only reason why I'm suggesting this because majority of the shoppers are elderlies and we all know how much they love their hot drinks!

Refreshingly delicious boba inside the Seafood City at South San Francisco... Mitchell's Ice Cream available in different flavors! Staff are very nice and friendly! Will be back for more!

Best Halo Halo / ALUWALU my kids and I have tried here in USA. It is very creamy and delicious. The toppings are homemade and made with care and attention. Even the leche flan has a unique cheese flavor. The Ube classic is delicious but the Mango halo halo is out of this world. Definitely worth trying and coming back to.

Halo halo was deliciously sweet with their original ingredients. Service was fast as well. Should come back again soon!

Went in and ordered ice cream.The young man working rang me up, took my cash and gave me change. He put a clear glove on his right hand and then proceeded to scoop the ice cream with his right hand as he held the cone with NO wrapper or napkin in his bare hand that he just had touched money with. Needless to say I didn't eat it. These younger kids need to be taught about health and food safety
