I ordered sesame chicken with fried rice and it was so good! As soon I walked in I was so warmly greeted and quickly helped. Great service. Very convenient parking and great spot. Would come back!

My favorite secret in San Carlos. Their juices are so good, super fruit, grapefruit- you can't go wrong. They make it fresh for you so it's even more delicious and the fruit is fresh so you can actually eat it after. Vietnamese coffee is also very good here! The service is good as they are operating a Chinese restaurant next door so it's a two for one really if you want food too. There is a parking lot right next door where you can park as long as you aren't there long. They redid the whole store recently and it looks good.

With so many boba places in this area, you really can't afford to be a BAD one. This place is an add-on to the Chinese restaurant next door, and has no devoted staff to the tea place. I had to go next door to get someone's attention, and even then, they continued rushing around the restaurant and no one came over for several minutes. This was at 1:30pm on a Sunday, so not prime lunch hour. Then someone came and took my order (they were out of my first choice), and then disappeared again for several minutes. I finally got my drink, and I think the boba was at least two days old. There was absolutely no spring to it, with congealed mush between the Boba. It was all soft, except for the random bits of undercooked boba. Disgusting. They get one star back because they put real fruit in the tea. I won't be coming back here again.

Disclaimer: 2 stars for drinks but added one for their bombastic fried chicken that blew my husband's and son's (super picky eater #1) minds! On the way down the peninsula, I tried to find a boba place that we've never tried before & is also on our route home and came across this place. I ended up ordering:- boba milk tea- grass jelly milk tea- Thai milk tea- fried (popcorn) chickenI was extremely disappointed in the drinks...did not taste good at all...but the popcorn chicken was SUPER delicious. I have never heard my husband compliment fried chicken before like this so this is definitely the real deal!Since we don't live around here, we won't be visiting again any time soon. If we're ever in town again, though, we would definitely get the popcorn chicken again! (but no drinks, LOL)

FOOD: I recommend the Rose Oolong Tea with Salted Cream! Their salted cream is pretty good & the flavors are potent. The milk teas are more tea than milk which I enjoy. The drink is actually 90% drink 10% ice.SERVICE: One lady working both the tea shop and the restaurant. She's so sweet & I can tell she works hard.

Nice little find. My kids and I ordered their house boba milk tea and strawberry smoothie. My house boba was rich tasting. Heavier on the tea side than the milk side. Kids smoothie just right. Will be back again!

Kudos to any small business that is bold enough to open their doors during trying times...Wishing you all the best!I believe Tea Juice has some sort of partnership with the next door Chinese restaurant: New Canton Restaurant. My receipt confirmed my suspicions...Perhaps it's the same owners? Not that it matters...I decided to stop by based Tea Juice based on the handful glowing reviews. I also love to support little local mom and pop spots and try new places as well. I'm glad to report the reviews weren't misleading! The inside was closed...adhering to SIP protocol; there was no indoor dining. There is an open window facing the sidewalk where one can order and pick up items. A friendly lady running the show told me my drink would be ready in two minutes...wallah!! She wasn't kidding!!! My drink was ready in two minutes!!!~ C5 - Rose Oolong Tea Salted Cream [SEA SALT CREAM]OH...so very well balanced! Not too sweet, like some other places. It didn't need any adjusting...like when some other places ask you for 50% sugar or 50% ice etc. Really good flavor; a balanced combination of Rose and Oolong Tea. The Boba was not hard or too chewy, soft and supple. Finally the Sea Salt Cream was also perfect!! Not too cheesy or creamy...just brilliant!! Can't wait to try other things on the menu...especially the WheelCakes!

Love local boba spots. The interior and logo scream "Quickly's-era traditional mom & pop boba", but the drinks are super "iNsTaGrAm AeStHeTiC", with matching quality to boot. Don't sleep on Tea Juice! I was pleasantly surprised to find great boba out in Redwood City. For COVID safety purposes, the staff wear masks & provide ample hand sanitizer. Service is speedy & courteous-- we ordered and received both (relatively complicated) drinks within 5 mins. Menu is a great combo between classic favorites and recent trends.OOLONG TEA SALTED CREMA (less ice, 75% sweet, with boba): If you're a fan of tea-heavy drinks like me, you'll love this. The oolong is richly earthy, but doesn't overpower the crema. With the drink leaning more sugary, I recommend lowering the sweetness level with your order. Boba was cooked well & lightly sweetened.SUPER FAMILY MILK TEA (less ice, 50% sweet): DEF sweet af here, wow. With red bean, boba, egg pudding, AND grass jelly, the drink will definitely run pretty sweet already-- at 50%, I found this a little overpowering. on the other hand, my bf, a sweet tooth at heart, loved it.Weird location that can be easily missed-- Tea Juice is between the main street & residential blocks. Had we not been actively searching for boba, we might've easily missed it. Would recommend making a stop here if you're in the area.

My friends started posting photos of their boba drinks for the weekend making me want one too so... I did a quick search on Yelp and found Tea Juice. This place used to be called Tea Hub and I remember it being so-so so opted to try it again under a new name. Parking is pretty easy - a bunch of street parking with no meters. The inside was fairly clean and the worker wore a mask the whole time. I opted for their fresh brown sugar boba milk and it was ready in a couple minutes. First look - pretty impressive, the brown sugar was mixed thoroughly through the cup and it looked really promising. It wasn't too sweet and the amount given was more than enough to fill you. Only real issue was the boba wasn't chewy like fresh boba. Overall, worker was nice. Safety measures in place. Menu was easy to navigate. Don't have to pay for parking. Worth another trip?

Okay, seriously, this was hands down the worst boba tea I've ever had! I ordered the Boba milk tea with oat milk, and it straight-up tasted like... well, you know. I thought maybe I could salvage it by throwing in some honey, but nope, that just made it even worse. I had to chug water and down some other drinks just to get rid of that awful taste lingering in my mouth.I don't get how making boba tea can be rocket science, but apparently, they found a way to mess it up. Straight into the trash, it went.Lesson learned: Never again from this place!
