This place is always busy, for good reason. The wet burrito with their house burrito sauce is amazing!!! It's a small spot and can get crowded. The staff is always friendly and super helpful.

A nice taqueria off the street in San Bruno that serves some of the best burritos in the area! A good selection of meats with different variations. With a salsa bar in the corner. The green salsa was the best, spicy, savory, slight tang to it! I got the wet super burrito with Lengua. This was HUGE. Definitely a dine in type of meal. The sauce was great, not that spicy, and can make it spicier with the salsas in the station. Absolutely packed, and did not skimp on the meat! The staff is friendly, gets kind of noisy but that's the type of place this is. Comes with complimentary chips as well. I would definitely come back and try out their other meats.

Tucked in an unassuming spot, this little taqueria is the definition of a hidden gem. If you're looking for authentic, no-frills Mexican food, this place delivers. The taco de tripa was a really good--crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with a good portion of meat! Paired with their salsa verde, yum! Would definitely order again! The tostada de ceviche was great too, perfectly balanced with creamy avocado and a crunchy tostada base.Seating inside is pretty limited, so be prepared to either wait for a spot or take your food to go. But honestly, the flavors make up for any lack of space. Service was fast and friendly, and the food came out fresh and hot. If you're in the mood for real-deal tacos and ceviche, this spot is well worth a visit.

I revisited Taqueria San Bruno after not being back for a long time. Parking in the area can be hard, and when I arrived, the place was quite busy. After placing our order, we waited about 15-20 minutes for our food. The interior is small, with around 10 tables at most. As for the food, it was decent, though I expected more flavor from the meat. I ordered both the carne asada and the fish tacos- the fish had good flavor, but the carne asada was underwhelming. I got the taco especial and wished the cheese had been melted on the taco. The taco was also so large that everything fell apart the moment I picked it up. Overall, it's a solid taqueria, but I'd still choose El Farolito over this spot.

I moved away from the area about four years ago, but this place remains my go-to spot for a quick burrito fix. The flavor, value, and friendly atmosphere are unbeatable! Every time I visit, it feels like the only place I ever want to get a burrito. My order is always the surf and turf burrito. The shrimp is cooked to perfection--big, generous pieces with no skimping. The carne asada is solid, with minimal chewy bits, so you know it's cut well. The rice, sauce, and beans blend seamlessly, and the burrito itself is massive! The photos I shared don't do it justice--you have to see it next to a bottle of sparkling water to grasp its size. The salsas are great, though I always wish for a spicier option. That said, the flavor is on point. I used to be able to finish the whole burrito, but on this visit, I had to tap out--definitely not the lightweight I used to be! Parking is a hassle, but despite that, this will always be my burrito spot. **Burrito Rating: 8.5/10** I'll be back every time I'm in town!

Another chance to win me over, and they did.My coworkers convinced me to come back here because they said this place has award winning burritos. I've been here before and had a meh experience, but peer pressure prevailed. We each got our own burritos. They ate theirs in the car, and I took mine to go. Definitely a lot better this time around. Got my own salsa from their dwindling salsa bar to add to my burrito, and a decent Horchata. Their super burrito with Carne asada is definitely the best around this area.

Been to Taqueria San Bruno twice now. This place is popular so parking can be tough and there can be a long wait. We luckily got there before the rush. Food is consistently good. Friendly service and they even have candy for the adults.I remembered the carne asada was tender and flavorful so we ended up ordering a super carne asada burrito and the carne asada enchiladas to go. I love that the burrito comes grilled. The enchiladas was good but I wish they pack the salad separate or placed in a separate section than the enchiladas. The food comes out so hot and fresh, by the time I got home, the salad actually partially cooked from heat. Chips and salsa is included with any order. They have a few selections of salsa. My favorite is the salsa with fresh tomatos, onion and cilantro (with no jaleneno). Will definitely be back to try more!

Hands down our favorite Mexican restaurant! Sorry I'm late to reviewing this place but this is our GO TO for our Mexican dishes like tacos, burritos, and other delicious plated food! We had them for our baby shower catering and all of our guests were so happy and impressed with the quality of meat! My go to for meats on my tacos or burrito is usually the best tongue! It is hellllla good and soft, chewy just amazing! They are always busy so either call ahead or go to the restaurant before noon/rush hour! They also have their sauce bar from spicy to non spicy but don't over pour or else it'll be wasteful! (Take what you need only) Parking also is not the easiest sometimes but there should be some if you park like under the tunnel or few blocks away.

I had taken a break from TSB to try out some different burritos but as much as I look/try, this is still my go-to burrito anywhere and the best part is my SO loves it as well! A new trick I just learned from a friend is to ask for your burrito 'grilled'. I thought they used to do this automatically but I thought wrong, but as someone who likes things toasted/grilled, getting it this way just elevates the already good flavor. Now if you want to add some spice, just ask for 'la diabla' for that extra kick. My go-to here is their steak or steak/shrimp burritos, as it's been for the past 15 years. The prices have gone up but honestly, I'm just glad the quality has remained good, and for me it's worth every penny. The green salsa here continues to be my favorite. Parking hasn't changed, so if you have someone in the car with you, best to have them drop you off as you pick up the order. Wait times can get long but the best way to manage this is to call your order ahead.

This is the spot! If you haven't been here, you are missing out! Food is amazingly fresh, savoury and quality never changed! Staff is always amazing and friendly, they serve you your food when its ready and they make sure you are happy with it.Place reminds me of just being home eating at your dining table with family. After you eat, you clean your own plates and the table. Its an amazing experience not just with food.Forgot to mention they have been in the Michelin Guide 2x already plus a long list of awards!
