Taqueria Los Mayas

First time and we took advantage of the Monday special - $8 Margarita (original, passion fruit and strawberry). The drink was fantastic... the Al...ol was in full force.We ordered a regular shrimp burrito and tamales del pollo that included 2 chicken tamales, rice, and black beans. For the burrito, there are non flour wraps (ie, spinach) for an extra $.50. The portions were more than enough to share. Everything was tasty and the meal was very fulfilling. Service was pleasant with great recommendations from the cashier. The food delivery did not take long and while waiting you can help yourself to the salsas or courtesy water. Ambiance is casual. The food to go includes chips. All in all, a great spot for great food.BTW, the food was so good that I forgot to take pictures...lol

Great service for the most part food looks fabulous. Quick service, Efficient meal. Price range me 5 to 6 bucks for one vegetarian taco.

Best shrimps tacos , big portion of ceviche great strong margaritas! Friendly staffs what else you could ask for!

Interesting place. Usually stop for a drink first and look at the menu. I'll be coming back to get more information pretty traditional. Started with a sangria.I ended up trying a pork Panuchos - Amazing! Raised my rating to a five and brought my wife back for lunch. We really enjoyed it. Thank you to Juan and his team.

The burrito is good, great tasting and feels clean, not oily at all. The issue I have is that it costs $3 more to pick up if you order online. I tried to just order online to get it quickly but it ended up costing a total of $18... for a burrito that just not that amazing. Good interior and they have deals per day of the week to check out

I love coming here for a quick bite and drinks! They have good happy hour deals so I recommend trying to come around that time! The service is great and the margaritas and micheladas are super yum!

Clement st and the Richmond has a ton a great Asian food, and isn't particularly known for Mexican food. This place can't compete with places in the Mission, but if you are searching for Mexican food in this part of town, this is one of your best bets. The tacos are decently sized with a healthy portion of meat, unlike other places. My only complaint - I think it is sacrilegious for a Mexican place to charge you $2.50 for just a tiny thing of tortilla chips when most traditional places will just include it with every order.

I can't believe it took us a few months to try this gem! Inner Richmond doesn't have too many Mexican restaurants, this is definitely a standout. I got a super burrito with Al pastor, which had plenty of flavor and the Al pastor was great. My partner got a super carne asada quesadilla, which was delicious and perfectly crispy. The horchata and chips & guacamole are what you'd expect. The vibe is nice inside, and the service is quick! We are definitely coming back.

Having just moved to the Inner Richmond neighborhood, Taqueria Los Mayas was my first taste of the area, and didn't disappoint! I had the combination plate with poc chuc, and my dad had a torta with al pastor. They also have a small salsa bar, which had some tasty and spicy salsas.The poc chuc plate was really tasty and flavorful, and my dad really enjoyed his torta. My dad also got a Michelada, which was hilarious in that it had the beer bottle suspended upside-down in the glass, so that they glass filled up with drink until the bottle was drained (wish I captured a picture). Nice to know this place is so good and cheap. I will most definitely be back!

I love this place! The food, location, ambiance, and the salsa!I also love their Mango salsa, Verde salsa and the Habanero salsa.Mango, Habanero, Verde (in order)Yucatan Mexican food is my favorite Mexican. The bold taste, smokiness, and the people are kind and friendly.I've had the "Taco de la Abuelita" aka Taco Trio of Cochinita Pibil / Poc Chuc / Al Pastor. They were so good. Poc Chuc was a bit dry, but the Cochinita Pibil and Al Pastor were juicy and succulent.And also The Pollo Chile Verde Sopes was very delicious!Next time I will try the Panuchos.The ambiance of this place is spacious, relaxed and very cozy.Taqueria Los Mayas is really good, albeit more casual and with smaller menu than their sister restaurant Cantina Los Mayas on Balboa Street 10 minutes walking distance away.Better than most of the Mexican taquerias in the Mission.
