The worst enchiladas I can remember ever having.Seriously dry meat. Horrible canned like sauce. Really funky dry tortillas that tasted like they were stale from a package. Cheap Costco chips, and horrible sugar and watery syrup Horchata.So my friend and I came here and when he1. Saw my horrible food2. Saw the lady sweeping the empty restaurant and kicking up the dust and debrisHe decided not to order and said he would go elsewhere instead.Wish I would have done the same and taken my money and spent it somewhere else.

I ordered a super burrito from Taqueria La Iguana Azul in Daly City via Grubhub last night. The burrito was packed with flavorful ingredients including tender lengua, rice, refried beans, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and cheese.Although it was a bit liquidy due to the sour cream, it was delicious. The portion size was generous. I still have half of it in my refrigerator for lunch today.What impressed me most was the speedy delivery. Despite ordering from Daly City, my burrito arrived in San Francisco in less than 20 minutes! Taqueria La Iguana Azul has won me over with their solid food and efficient delivery. I will definitely be ordering from them again and would highly recommend them to anyone craving a super burrito delivered right to their door.

Ordered Taqueria La Iguana Azul for delivery via Doordash and opted for a burrito mojado and two drinks. When the burrito arrived, it was still warm, but i noticed that the entire container was sideways in the bag is was delivered in. Not sure if it was placed sideways due to bag space or if this was a result of the driver but my entire burrito was shifted to one side, along with all the salsa. The burrito itself was okay. It was a bit dry on the inside, and it wasn't as covered in salsa as I would have liked. I think when I order a wet burrito, I typically expect more wet. I paired my burrito with a strawberry fresa and horchata. I really enjoyed the strawberry fresa as it was very refreshing for a hot day. The horchata was solid, but i do think the flavor could have been a bit stronger.

They have two locations, one in San Francisco and another in Daly City. They've always served great burritos and I decided to grab one from the Daly City location. The whole burrito was flavorful and balanced every bite, all the way til the end. The meat was tender and juicy, the pico, rice, and beans had the perfect amount. This burrito definitely does not disappoint.

The food is pretty good. The 2 stars are for my experience here and I think it's because of the language barrier. I ordered 2 items, 1 super carne asada burrito and 1 super prawn suiza. For some reason the lady at the register thought I said super prawn burrito? When I went to go pick up my food the person handing it to me said yeah that's your order. And I had to tell her this wasn't it. I ordered the suiza. The lady who rung me up looked lost and the other lady didn't understand me. I just took my food and walked away. I wish there was a better way to order food at places like this if you don't speak the language that is used among the workers.

It can be pricey when it came to tacos especially taco de Cameron. It was my favorite at this plate. Other tacos were so-so. To my curiosity, I tried super taco, it was made like super burrito like but on double layers taco shells. It filled me though. The meat was toward the dried side. Seems like everything here is digitalized. Their menu is on a scan bar where you can just tell the lady what you want. I had the takeout and brought it home to add additional salsa de gallo, and sour cream, but that's because I liked more. They DO NOT have a salsa stand so you would probably have to request if you want more salsa. IT was a quick fix for me. Seem like their tacos are the most popular. I would probably come back and try the 3 taco dish. I ordered two super tacos, but I didn't like the taco skin, so I'll try the crunchy one next time or a burrito as other people ordered.

OMG Did I just find my new favorite burrito spot? First, let me say my suggestion is that you order and it eat at the taqueria so your food is still fresh and warm. There's a few table and seats to eat inside. Second, the lady at the cashier who took our order was so sweet. Third, it's burrito perfection here! I got the Super Burrito with carnitas and refried beans. One of the best carnitas I've ever had. The carnitas was smoky, fatty, moist, and delicious! My boyfriend and I also shared the al pastor taco which was I also enjoyed.

Had to come back to return La Iguana Azul to my original 5-star rating. First off, the problem I had last time with the order not being fully right hasn't happened again. But the food is better than ever. Been loving their shrimp tostadas (flat corn tortilla, not flour bowl) and the shrimp is excellent! It's high quality butterfly shrimp, which you don't see often in fast-food Mex, and they cook it perfectly. And I still love that you can get chicken breast (shredded, "pollo guisado") -- although best to put the salsa of your choice on the chicken, which makes it super delicious, otherwise it will be a little dry. Their aguas frescas really are fresh-tasting, I particularly love the melon which has the perfect sweetness -- some places make it too sweet or not sweet enough. I'd get it without ice so the flavor isn't watered down and, no worries, it's already cold. And their tortilla chips are excellent -- they're the thin kind, very light, very fresh-tasting, so you don't feel full after you've been munching them on the way home with your take-out. Too many places use regular tortillas to make their chips and they are way too heavy and greasy.Also, since I've last been here, they removed the wall counter with the high seats and added more regular tables and chairs. This place is kinda hidden in the back of the Lucky shopping center (it's behind the Jolibee in the very corner) so I'm glad that word of mouth and Yelp have kept it open a long time. BTW, if you know the original location on Geneva, although that has great food, too, this location is way nicer inside.

Ordered from here a couple times.First time got a tripa taco and lengua taco and carne asada burrito Second time a tripa baby burrito it was kinda small but doesn't make you feel gross at the end. I suggest getting a regular carbs asada burrito with extra pico di gallo and cilantro and onions.
