Eh. Sorry Taqueria Girasol, you're not the one for me!I've never had anything from this food court. One day, a friend persuaded me to go with them to get food and I've regretted it ever since. The service was alright and the wait wasn't too terrible. Making the meal was like chipotle - they ask what items you want, one section at a time. This is what I ordered:Carne Asada Fries ($9.50): I decided to switch the choice of meat from Steak to Chicken last minute since the steak looked extremely dry (not sure if that was the right decision). The fries were soggy/soft/not crispy and took a while to cook (making the wait for food a lot longer). The chicken, salsa, and guac lacked flavor (not seasoned well and guac tasted like mediocre mystery mush). Lets not forget the choice of cheese! Goodness, it tasted like elementary school lunch cheese (bad american/cheddar). This whole experience made me feel like I was in middle/high school again. Thanks for the nostalgia?Sorry, this establishment was a miss for me. For this amount, I rather go down the street and get a rice bowl from chipotle.

Ordered the carne asada fries and lacking flavor :( - steak needs seasoning, nacho cheese no taste, needs sour cream. Would not get again.

This place is so convenient when you want to grab a quick, satisfying snack before class. It gets pretty pricey when you add too much at the Tostada Bar, so if you're pretty hungry I would recommend ordering an actual meal from the taqueria (which would be around $8-$10). I usually just come here for some chips and salsa, but the burritos are also pretty good for on-campus food.

I gave them one more chance. I found a long human hair in my burrito. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be going again.

Left side, you can order whatever they have on the menu & they make it for you. On the right side, you can make your own nachos & tacos. Weigh then pay.Left side, they've got ginormous burritos filled with enough calories for the entire day, maybe more.If you don't prefer flour tortillas, you can ask them for wheat.

I sometimes wonder which weighs more, my bag or their burrito? The answer.. their burritos. Their burritos are so huge that i can never finish it in one sitting. They pack that burrito up and sometimes i really wonder how they roll it up. When you are in line for this place you can decide what you want or don't want on your burrito as the make it in front of you. They also have a breakfast burrito, but they dont' serve that all day which bites. They also have nachos and quesdillas here. Sometimes i get the cheese quesdillas and they have 3 different cheese in there. It's a large portion but too cheesy at times. They also have a salad bar on the other side where you can make your own taco and they will bill you by weigh. Overall, if you are SUPER hungry on campus this is to place for you

Best customizable burritos I've ever had in my life - I'd say better than La Vic's in San Jose, even though La Vic's sauce can trump almost anything. I usually order a burrito with rice, black beans, steak, and cheese. They have everything else though, I just like the simple. Their steak is great quality!Their nachos are also delicious, but have very thick chips.

Get the self-serve....it's a get what you want, build your own dish type-ah deal where they charge by the pound. You can't really complain because you're the one making your own plate, they just supply the ingredients. Nothing too amazing and doesn't compare to Latin American dishes you can get in the Mission. But, it'll do, especially when you're hungry and don't want to think about what you want to eat, you just want to eat.

I've been here a few times and I've had a decent experience, but today was not one. I got the chicken burrito. The person at the counter charged me extra $$ for adding lettuce to my burrito. They didn't say "lettuce is extra." I would have rather paid extra for guacamole for that price, but it was literally a sprinkle of chopped lettuce. Probably cost them 10 cents. Not a good business model to hit you with surprise fees at checkout. Make sure you get exactly what comes with your burrito or they will add on extra fees. I won't be back.
