an inviting space, taqueria dos charros does a great job making customers feel welcome and decorate their indoor to create a nice ambiance. my experience was takeout, with my dish being their shredded chicken super nachos, topped with guac and sour cream: elite food, id rate at a 8.1/10a local elite Mexican shop in daly city, taqueria dos charros will be a return visit in my books

I had been meaning to come here for quite some time. Probably a year or two. I frequent this area often. It's a large establishment with lots of seating. The bar is pretty sizable. I'm not sure if they have any happy hour menu. I came in for dinner. I wanted to sample the tacos. The menu was extensive with lots of selections. Three available types of agua fresca were looking all looking inviting. Honeydew, guava, and Horchata. I love agua fresca!! I didn't try any this time. I ordered two tacos. One vegetarian taco that was stuffed with rice and beans, and topped with guacamole. I also love fish tacos. These were yum! Not sure which kind of fish, which was breaded and good. I also love fish tacos. Here they use two small flour tortillas. To make it doubled. The food is not super inexpensive, the tacos run from anywhere $3-7 each. I will come back again, to try something new like a burrito. They give you lots of tasty chips on the side. And have three different salsa at a bar to choose from. Lots of people seem to like this place, it was very busy people, with groups of people coming in to dine. That's a good sign usually. The staff was efficient, and seemed outstanding, as being a well oiled machine. They looked very good too, attractive people. Working hard too. I appreciate that. Thank you.

Tacos Al Pastor were just okay. Meat was a little dry and surprisingly lifeless given it was just cooked. Rice was limp and unflavored. Beans were pretty good. Somewhat pricier than other low to mid end Mexican spots. Probably won't return.

Ordered a super carnitas burrito to go for an early dinner. They offered me 3 small to go containers to fill with their salsa. Happily obliged and sampled all three which I found out later are all tasty :) My order was ready in less than 5 minutes and I was shocked at the weight of the bag. Super burrito will easily extend to 2 meals or you can split it with a lucky person. The carnitas tastes delicious, crispy and bursting with flavor, and special mention goes to the generous onions which added even more flavor and texture. Loved that they didn't include lettuce which has no place in a proper burrito. Paired with the salsas, it all makes for a very satisfying meal. I'd be curious to try the bar next time! Thank you TDC staff for being friendly and making meals a great experience there.

This place has some good steak burritos. I was impressed with their Super Carne Asada burrito. It's a little different than a Mission burrito but it's tasty. It has good enough seating. Great service for a Taqueria.

I was craving Mexican food and my friend recommended this place. The restaurant was in a nice and a quiet plaza and the staff was friendly. You can get one free bag of chips and salsa but anything more is extra charge. They weren't very impressive either. I ordered the California burrito and they use waffle fries which was a cool and unique approach. The meat was well seasoned as well! I enjoyed the burrito but it was a little pricey for me.

Ordered a regular steak burrito to go with cheese (you get a choice between pico de gallo or cheese. I asked for black beans. The burrito was a decent size but the black beans were undercooked (tasted raw actually) and lacked flavor. Perhaps adding a little garlic powder, onion powder, cumin and cooked properly would've been nice. The melted cheese had an unpleasant aftertaste but had a good pull. The meat was good but overall I was underwhelmed by this burrito. The tomatillo sauce was flavorful but, well cooked food shouldn't have to rely on hot sauce to give food flavor, it should enhance the flavor of the food. This food lacked flavor. My taste buds were very underwhelmed. It's difficult to find a good taqueria these days. I don't think I'll be coming back.

I ordered a bean, rice, and cheese burrito. They really skimped on the beans. It was mostly rice. $10 for a rice burrito. Not a good meal.

I'm giving this restaurant three stars for the reason of its customer service was amazing but I did not want to put five star because of the food quality I came to order a super burrito Carne Sada, and a Carne Sada quesadilla it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. This is my first time trying food here, but like I said, I don't want to generalize that every food there is not the best. I'm just telling you what I tried wasn't the best but it's not the worst. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to put more flavor to the burritos, the meat so it could taste better
