Easily part of my fantastic sf matcha roster. Such creamy matcha. If you're a strawberry matcha person you must try here. The strawberry cream is delightful and so are the dried berries they put on top. Their pineapple katsu Sando situation is bomb and so are their fruit sandos. I also usually get the chicken curry onigiri as a satisfying snack.

Get the chicken katsu sando!! You won't regret it. It's juicy, crispy and mustardy. The bread is fluffy and the chicken the thick making for a delicious bite. There's shredded iceberg lettuce so the sandwich gives elevated Mc chicken but in the best way possible. We tried the seasonal pineapple and pork katsu sando which was also solid but not as juicy as the chicken. The pineapple was cold which kinda made the sando have a hot and cold aspect. The strawberry cream matcha latte wasn't as matcha-y as I would have liked it to be. While delicious it reminded me of strawberry ice cream. Definitely rich and creamy. The dirty matcha also lacked that matcha punch but still was pretty solid. If you want to pick up you can order on DoorDash and pick up in store. We came on a Sunday afternoon and the line went pretty fast so don't be off out if you see a line!

Went on a Sunday, there's a big line but the staff kept things moving so the wait wasn't too bad. Service was quick and the folks working there were courteous and very nice. I ordered a few things: Karage Sando, egg and potato salad sando, curry chicken and yuzu salmon onigiris. Matcha latte with strawberry cream and a hojicha latte. Total came out to be around $60 give or take. A bit pricey but the food and drinks were good. I recommend the karage sando for sure. If you haven't been, it's worth checking out. Wish there was more seating though.

Line moves really fast. Small space inside with 2 tables seating 2 and a window with 2 more seats (6 seats total). Chicken filet karaage ($16) - Super juicy chicken thigh with really mayo and mustard. the chicken thigh was still crispy even with all the sauceTonkatsu w/ pineapple ($17) - less fatty than the chicken filet. not sure if i really liked the pineapple w/ it but still tastyMatcha w/ strawberry cream ($7.50)Matcha w/ salted cheese cream ($7.25) The bread was really soft and sweet and held up the sandwich well.

I came on a Saturday around 2PM. The line was out the door and I waited around 15 minutes for my order to be taken and another 15 for my order to be ready. I got the strawberry sando and the matcha latte with strawberry and cream. The quality of the matcha is something you can taste, and the drink itself was thick and balanced. Next time I would definitely get the regular matcha latte so I can have a better feel for the taste of the matcha itself without the strawberry flavoring in it. The sando had generous amounts of strawberry in it and did not disappoint, although it is a bit pricey given that for a couple extra dollars, I could be getting a katsu sando. There is minimal seating inside and it gets really crowded especially if the store is busy, and about 2 tables outside, so definitely not an ideal place to work/study/settle down. It's definitely more on the pricier side, but I guess average for SF now.Overall, super cute place with quality matcha but next time I would try to go during a less busy time on the weekday and stick with getting their matcha and a savory sando.

Another sando shop in sf!!I was craving hojicha and found this spot. The drinks were ok. The hojicha was pretty sweet even tho I got less sweet. But I liked both the sandos we got.The chicken karage one had a really yummy mayo based sauce that is reminiscent of the same sauce I used to get at Sushi Hanami in Calgary whenever I ordered chicken katsu. They gave a pretty thicc slice of chicken cutlet. They also kept the skin on when they breaded then fried it so there's a layer of chewiness which was interesting. The pineapple katsu sando was also pretty tasty. The katsu was pretty tender and the sauce was the classic brown katsu sauce that I love. My only complaint was that the cut of meat they used was very fatty and I definitely had some bites where it was all fat no meat. I wish the meat quality was slightly better. The pineapple was a nice addition tho. It added a citrus tangy flavour that cut through the fatties of the pork.

It's my day off and I've been wanting to go to this place for a while so here I am. I ordered the Tonkatsu w/Pineapple Sando and the Strawberry and Cream Sando. The tonkatsu was crispy and the pineapple added a different dimension of flavor. The strawberry and cream Sando was really creamy and I liked how it wasn't overly sweetened. Overall, the portion sizes for the Sando were respectable. The price was also reasonable. I also got an iced matcha latte which was pretty solid. When I came here, the line was so long. It took 15 minutes until I got to the front and about 5 minutes for my order to come out. Which honestly wasn't bad. I really appreciate how hard their staff works. The place seemed pretty busy and action packed, but they handled it very well. Much respect to them. The restaurant is cute and very small. There's very limited seating inside with a few tables outside though. I opted to eat in my car considering how crowded it was. Try it out if you like. :)

Small restaurant with 6 seats inside, 6 seats outside. Very fast service and even though there was a line, it went by quickly. Food was ready almost as soon as I sat down. Minimalist but warm place. No bathroom. We were lucky to find parking right outside at 11:30AM.Chicken filet karaage sando ($16) - yummm! juicy, flavorful, saucy. Bread was nice and soft.Onigiri (Min 2 but can mix flavors) - I got the Chicken curry ($4.50) and Miso snow crab ($6). Wasn't a fan.Unagi, avocado, spam, and egg musubi ($8.50) - hard to mess up spam and egg. But jeez so much rice.Matcha latte with almond milk ($7.25) - creamy and high quality matcha taste. delicious!

This place is definitely worth the hype! Staff was incredibly welcoming and kind and made sure to answer any questions we had about the menu. Drinks were absolutely incredible and food was just as good! Parking is a bit tough tho so just be prepared for that! Strawberry cream matcha latte: 9.5/10- amazing and STRONG matcha flavor, not bitter and the strawberry cream was delicious and a unique spin on the classic strawberry matcha latte Chicken filet karage sando: 9/10- juicy, tender, and flavorful chicken that paired perfectly with cabbage & mustard spread served on the fluffiest bread Strawberry & cream sando: 8/10 - fresh strawberries and cream, this would be a 9/10 if the bread wasn't so cold and was fluffier! Snow crab onigiri: 9/10 - fresh crab, loved the hints of lemon from the lemon zest and the rice was seasoned really well too!

Food: - Matcha Latte with Strawberry Cream: A bit pricey but very tasty! Loveeee the strawberry top on this in particular. - Pineapple Katsu sandwich: I've never thought to add pineapple to a Katsu sandwich, but it worked pretty well together! The sweetness and acidity of the pineapple complements the rich, savory pork cutlet. The cutlet is served cold, which is disappointing (esp given it was $19)--if it were freshly fried, the sandwich would be amazing. Instead, it feels a bit handicapped.A fun, new addition to the Mission and SF which only has a handful of katsu sando spots. The space is cozy with limited seating (window and a table), and while there's often a line, my food came faster than expected. The service was good too.
