They put a good amount of onion and a healthy dose of their homemade black salsa on them. Then on the side you have the option to squirt some red or green salsa into To-go containers. The red salsa has a lot of onions too. I'm pointing that out cuz I love spicy food and love onions (I'm Mexican, so...) but I just can't handle it the same anymore. Anyways. The tacos are bomb.com in every meat. Bout a 10 minute wait for the food, not bad. Your standard $4 a taco, but at least here you know it's all worth it.Don't come through expecting some nice seating area or parklet available. You're in the grime of the Mission, right across the street from a bar well known for their....comforting services by comforting women. It smells like dog piss and drunk dude piss on the street nearby. So I say get it to go or eat in your car. But def do not come here and complain. Just enjoy your delicious taco truck food and move along

I wasn't blown away but the tacos were pretty solid. Meat was for the most part flavorful and not chewy. I'll be coming back to try them again.

I was working on a film project at Beyond Pix Studios and missed the lunch order that went out in the morning. There's not much around this area but I was assured there was a taco truck posted up out back. I walked out the back door and bam... Tacos Santo Toribo was right there.I looked over the menu and placed an order for a full plate which comes with your choice of meat, rice, beans, and a salad. Plus all meals come with chips and salsa. It's cash only and Spanish only so menu questions may be greeted with a blank stare. Better brush up on your español gringo.The service was quick. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Yes, I'm from SC but I visit SF often and eat tacos whenever I can. What brings it all together is the price! I ordered my platter and then two tacos for someone else and I believe the total came out to $12! If I was nearby I'd eat here three times a week.

Found this unsuspecting taco truck in the Bayshore area behind a pixstudio for lunch.The menu was pretty solid, tacos, quesos, burritos, tortas, and plates, they also had some of the more uncommon ingredients like pigs head and intestine.Ordered two tacos, a carne asada and carnitas.It came with chips and you can pour our own salsa.Holy crap these tacos were bomb!!!The meat is super flavorful, the texture is just right, they give you good ingredients like a super taco gets you a slice of avocado, not some imitation watery guac... Then they give you a lot of filling, it's pretty much filled to the brim and only costs $2.50 per taco!Not sure what this truck is doing so far out, they'd make a killing anywhere else in SF.Extra perk! The truck is also super clean, not janky, like I don't question the cleanliness of the food.Overall super high quality and at the right price post. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area.

best mexican food i've found in san francisco since i moved here. i got the milanesa torta and it was so good

Was working at a studio nearby and some of my colleagues gave this truck a high recommendation so I decided to give it a try. Pretty basic menu with tacos and burritos and lots of sodas down below. Friendly service.I ordered two supreme tacos with chicken. They are served flat style with guacamole. Really tasty.

Been waiting for something new to pop up around and Taco Santos Toribio truck started parking. Excited to try and was not disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the cooks make amazing food. I had to cut my visits per week down because I was spending too much and eating everything. Basically I have tried every item and it's hard to choose from the list which one I want since it's all sooo good. It's a must stop by and eat here.

Great freaking burrito. The food is so good. I'm now only making this review longer cause Yelp is telling me to. For sure a great burrito place.

Best tacos! They have now moved to the mission and I go whenever I see the truck. Love this place

This food truck is located at Toland and Oakdale in the city. First time here and tried a super chicken burrito. I have to say my first bite was surprisingly good and not all tortilla. I had my doubts at first since my past experiences with burrito trucks were not impressive at all. Got sick a few times too. The cheese you can actually taste since they give you a somewhat thick lining. Most taquerias from my experience put it on but you hardly ever taste the cheese. It had big chunks of chicken previously marinated and quite delicious. I didn't see any pico de gallo but it has a healthy amount of cilantro, some onions, sour cream and the avocado that makes it exquisite. I opted for the green salsa rather than the red. Their chips are light and not the standard thick and heavy ones. The green salsa is pretty damn good. I tried it with the chips and wow another burst of goodness on the pallet. Its actually mild and not spicy. Then I tried it on the burrito and it just enhances all the goodness flavor. Super impressed with this place and highly recommend. Finally a food truck that's worth it. I will have to try the other dishes and tacos soon. Feel free to recommend another food truck gem that you think is better and I will compare them. Stay tuned.
