Loved the food here! Like the best of a Mexico City simple-in-decor hotspot. Just came back from CDMX, so I know what I am comparing. I cannot sing the praises of this place enough and am worry that you all will ruin it by going. But I've got to give credit where it is due. Plenty of varieties of seafood dishes but it's the al pastor negro that I loooooooove! My friends dragged me here and I'm so glad I came, even though I never did when I use to live not too far away. Now, I live 30 minutes away and have to drive far over a highway to come but it's so worth it! Bravo! Gracias, Chefs Hector Ordaz y David Pacheco and Manager Norbeto Granillo (it's on their business and catering card). You can tell they take PRIDE in this taqueria!

This place is super shady! I wrote a previous review of how the food was. In addition to my experience when I checked my Credit card charge, they added a 15.00 tip on for themselves. My total bill for the food was 54.00, 15.00 is more than 25% of my meal i opted to leave a tip which was much smaller. When I called them, I got a run around from the lady on the phone who then put the cook on the phone both of which claimed there was no manager around to talk to and that the manager was on vacation. PLEASE WATCH YOUR BILL WHEN PAYING AND COMPLETELY CLOSE THE TIP OPTION OUT.

I drove across the city to try this tacos and I was not disappointed with what I had. I ordered the Tijuana style tacos and was glad to see that every ingredient had been cooked and seasoned beautifully. Salsa bar was no joke either, and the drinks may want to make you stay after hours.Solid 4 stars.

Tacos del Barrios is a fantastic neighborhood spot. It offers a tasty selection of fusion and classic tacos. We stopped by early before catching a production over at the Brava Theater, but by 7 PM, the place was bustling with patrons. We enjoyed delicious watermelon light margaritas, nachos, street tacos, fusion tacos like raw tuna, shrimp po'boy, and burritos. There was something on the menu for everyone. The service was excellent, and we loved the laid-back, casual pop-in atmosphere that made us feel right at home with friends and kids.

This place was a pleasant surprise. I originally was going to Kazan to get sushi but they were closed for maintenance. I was starving. I walked by this place and saw a good number of tables of people eating inside this no frills tacqueria - it had to be a good sign. I came in and ordered two of the steak Tijuana tacos and went over to the salsa bar to get a little of everything to try. The tacos were stacked with meat and guacamole with the cheese nicely melted on the tortilla. The tacos were great. The tortilla tasted fresh, the cheese was nice and melted, and there was so much guacamole piled on that I had it in every bite as I spread it with a fork. The salsas all tasted really good and actually had flavor compared to neighboring options at Farolito and Cancun (gasp I know.. I've just never been a huge fan of either). Definitely check them out.

Well first i like to say Happy 2025! I normally don't do a review on the first visit when they are new or been around a few years because i like to come couple of times to make sure the food and service were good. But if you love really yummy Mexican food then don't come here run don't walk go to upper 24th and mission Street across from McDonald's you have the two best taqueria's and cheaper and flavorful food two choose from. But if you like to waste your money then come here but you better speak Spanish because neither one of the workers speak English. I'm glad i had a customer who translated what i wanted to the lady in Spanish and i was so looking forward to coming here.I'm upset that Roosevelt tamales close down but this place opened up but the food has no flavor and it's so so expensive it is not worth coming here the people are nice the service was fast the decor is very colorful very clean. But again i was sad that the food wasn't good and they don't put hot sauce on the tacos you have to put on yourself and no chips with your food when you take it to go. Oh one more thing they do make homemade tortillas but you got to pay a little bit extra MONEY if you want the bigger TACOS. So yit's up to you if you what the smaller street Tacos or the bigger tacos so you will feel full lol.:( PLEASE read all reviews before coming here so you are not disappointed and waste your MONEY!Thanks for reading my first review of 2025! ~Lizzie~ :)

We attend during the opening and I wish I could say this place was good. But it feels just okay if you are in a pinch and in the area. Although, I would probably end up down the street.I would not say it was anything memorable unfortunately. Most felt very bland and lack luster. I know they provide a bar, so it might just be a good place to grab a drink and food but I will probably pass.

I know there are so many good options for Mexican food in this area, but don't sleep on Tacos Del Barrio. I got three pastor tacos, which is usually my go to. They have a wide menu selection with lots of more adventurous options for those who want to explore more than tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. The staff is amazingly friendly and often have their little kids at the restaurant hanging out (adorable kids).

A very cute neighborhood spot to enjoy fresh and delicious tacos, quesabirrias, and music with friendly staff. The meat was a bit fatty for my taste, so that's why this spot warrants 4 stars from me, but I know that's a plus for some folks!Yummy variety of salsas so don't forget to check them out if you're dining in.
