This place is super busy all the time. So I had a super burrito with asada and it was worth the wait. They use the real sauces and flavors. Everyone here was speaking Spanish and I ordered in Spanish what I could remember from school. It's a fast transaction but professional. Definitely going back the tacos look good. They do accept card payments tap to pay.

Excellent and affordable tacos in downtown Burlingame. Quality: 5 Value: 5 Service: 4 Ambience: N.A. They have $2-3 tacos that are AWESOME. Every flavor we got was great except the chicken. Good carne asada, good al pastor, and they have cabesa most days, too. The habanero salsa absolutely sang, and their pickled carrots were perfectly spicy and crunchy. It's hard to complain at this price! Yes, they only speak Spanish, and yes, the parking lot is only for the mechanic shop (and the mechanic will shoo you out if you try to park there). But for just picking up amazing tacos at amazing prices, who cares about ambience? Our new go to spot to avoid the bougie nonsense of Burlingame avenue.

The tacos were pretty good, definitely in the top 10. I really liked the meat and tortillas but the salsa could've been better. The burrito wasn't bad but wouldn't order it again. Just wasn't enough flavor in the rice & beans. I would've gave 4 stars but the customer service here was not good. They seemed really irritated that I didn't know Spanish. Because of this I may or may not go back. I hate to say it but based on another review I seen I think they may not like people outside their race.

Unassuming but delicious. We've always passed by the little red food truck, but glad we finally checked them out one Saturday for lunch. My husband got a combo of carne asada and carnitas tacos. While I was in the mood for a super carnitas quesadilla. It was busy, but for a good reason. The tacos' tortillas are homemade and tacos reasonably stuffed with meat, chopped onions, and cilantro. Also tossed on the plate are the picked carrots and onions, and you may get a jalapeño. I believe all but one of their salsas are on the hotter side, we chose a red one which luckily was pretty mild. My quesadilla was huge and even came with lettuce inside, so it's a little healthy, right? It also came with salsa, avocado, and sour cream (I requested on the side). The carnitas wasn't dry and had some crispy parts, yum! However, it was a little soggy, probably from all the ingredients. But to be honest, a lot of quesadillas are on the soggy side. Hubs enjoyed his tacos, especially due to the tortillas. I tried a few bites of carnitas tacos and knew that next time I'd have these tacos. Flash forward, several weeks went by and I got carnitas tacos, while he got his usual split. Happy we finally checked them out. The menu is more straightforward, so no agua frescas or chips, but that's ok!

The Food Gods are smiling on me today. I was visiting a relative in SSF who bought me pork tamales and got my wife chili verde from La Tapatia in SSF. I had to stop off at Ace Hardware in Burlingame and then head to Ike's in San Mateo. The route took me along Park to El Camino. I happened to hit a stoplight at the end of Park where it changes to El Camino. I love fresh air and had the windows down. I was at the stoplight long enough that the smell of various meats started wafting through the window. It smelled excellent. I looked around for a restaurant and didn't see anything. I glanced at my side mirror and there it was, a food trailer. Never one to pass up good food I make a bunch of right turns and ended up at Tacos Al Vapor. Lucky me.I didn't want to fill myself up before lunch so I only got two carnitas tacos. I took them back to my car and inhaled them. Heavenly tacos made with homemade corn tortillas, perfectly cooked and flavored pork, soft but with a little crunch, onions and cilantro. They were so good the tacos didn't need any salsa. The tacos came with pickled carrots and onions. It is hard to find good carnitas, either the meat is dry, taste boiled or over fried so the meat is too crunchy.Next time I am anywhere near Burlingame, I plan to swing by to get a carnitas, al pastor, pollo and a carne asada taco. These guys are the real deal. If you want the best carnitas tacos, make a trip here.

I have had both good and bad experiences here. For the most part. Everything is good. Salsas are good and food is good. Sometimes they mix up my order. The biggest problem is that I feel they use really old/gross lettuce in the burrito. I can't get a super there anymore cause the lettuce ruins it. Usually lettuce isn't in a super burrito. I get that, but here they do. Service can be very slow as well. Other than that. You wait outside a parking lot for your food.

I ordered the Nachos and the salsa and the sour cream tasted bad as if it had expired. The Super Quesadilla was okay, i had better. I really wanted to like this food truck. It might have been safer to order the tacos like everyone else.

I got chicken tacos which I found to be cooked well just not superrrr flavorful. The tortillas seemed hand made which was a nice touch. There was a lunch rush, so it did take a little while to order and get my food. They are mostly Spanish speaking, but if you don't know any Spanish you will be okay. The prices are pretty good for the area.

It is unfortunate that I will not be coming back anymore. Review on Food:I usually order the 8 taco combo and the quality of the tacos are fine. Not amazing as other taco stalls out there but good enough for a lunch option in the area. Review on Service:They do get pretty busy during peak hours and the wait can be long (20-30+ min) but I usually go when I am not in a rush so I didn't mind in those times. What I do mind and cannot tolerate any longer is that the lady taking orders is flat out rude with an attitude to what seems like are towards non-Spanish speaking customers. She does not take questions/requests/double check orders. She will not respond to you. What she will do is shake her head, roll her eyes, ignore you, and then talks over to another customer that can speak Spanish. I gave the benefit of the doubt that it might be a language barrier or I might've caught her on her really bad days so I've tried to look past it but I witnessed it happening to others and the body language is enough to understand no matter who you are/what you speak. Also note that I've tried to google translate/learn some phrases to try and order in her language to see if that makes a difference. No acknowledgement still.Another example, a non-Spanish speaking customer asked what kind of beans do they have. She ignored him and the rest of the crew did too. Again, could be a language barrier but body language says otherwise. An auntie who speaks Spanish saw what was going on and was so sweet and kind enough to step up and help get a response out of the lady. It had to be through the auntie for any of us to be acknowledged.Take your business and support another taco joint where even if there are some language barriers (or having bad days), there are others out there that will at least try to attempt in understanding you in the best way that they can with some ounce of kindness and patience--without judgement.
