Taco boys is my new favorite taco Tuesday spot, and probably the most vegetarian friendly taco spot I have ever been to!! I go here for taco tuesdays, where all tacos (meat and vegetarian) are 2 dollars! I think the deal ends around 730? But not all night sadly. The tacos are small, and I usually end up eating ~5, so it's a great deal. Otherwise it is more expensive other days and feels maybe less worth it ( I believe the fake meat ones are 4 dollars regularly).My favorite are the fake sausage, the vegan Al pastor, and vegan carne asada. Truly mind blowing, and such a great way for vegetarians to get their street taco fix without needing to eat meat! (there are sadly so few good alternatives). I've also tried the jackfruit and the vegan chorizo- I thought both were a little too sweet for my taste but my partner loved the vegan chorizo.I will also say that as a flexitarian (lol) I snuck a bite of my partners carne asada and Al pastor and we blown away by both. This place has something for vegetarians and meat eaters alike!! The cons- this place is tiny! Be prepared to either sit outside or struggle to find a table inside during peak taco Tuesday hours. A lot of people seem to get food to go, so that's an option.Overall though, 100% worth the struggle to get a seat, especially on a Tuesday. Have not found a better vegetarian spot than this one for excellent street tacos!

Had a long wait for the order here, as it was 20+ minutes from time of using the self-service machine to receiving our food. Also impacting the experience, was waiting/mini dining area started to get crowded with numerous people waiting for their order as well. Once we received our food, we used the tables outside the entrance (which weren't all that clean) to eat our meal.Unfortunately the wait wasn't the worst part of the visit, as my flautas were the worst I have had in my entire life. No flavor and a terrible aftertaste. My friends had items from the burrito and taco sections and were underwhelmed with the quantity and quality. Reviews here are good, so it is quite possible we visited on a very bad off night for Taco Boys, but we would bypass going here again.

We had high expectation for Taco Boys as it was on a widely shared "top burritos of SF" list. The store itself has several tables but is quite a small space. We ordered a supreme burrito with asada, and a quesadilla with al pastor. The quesadillas hit the mark, but unfortunately the supreme burrito was a letdown. The asada was a little overcooked, making it very hard to chew, and the burrito was a little cold, contrasted by the quesadilla that was fresh off the grill.

If I could give this place more stars I would! Absolutely loved everything, from the service right down to the food. Staff were incredibly welcoming and interior is nice, and they also have good outdoor seating. Prices are the best I've seen since moving to the city, as well as portions for a Mexican restaurant. $2/taco and $15/burrito AND LET ME TELL U THE BURRITOS ARE HUGE AND CAN EASILY BE SHARED! It was insane too because they packed it with avocado and meat, avocado surprised me the most as most places like these usually do an extra add on fee but nope. Impeccable, I cannot recommend this place MORE! ‼‼‼

I think this spot has one of the best taco Tuesday tacos in SF. I'd point out the chicken al pastor, the regular al pastor, and chorizo tacos. Really flavorful and always has me coming back for more. Also, I've been here a few times now and it has consistently delivered. There might've been one time where the wait was absurdly long but that's expected when there's so many people ordering on a taco Tuesday. Either way, I'd def recommend trying this spot if you're a vegan or vegetarian since they have so many vegan taco options on the menu as well.

Came here after a Barry's bootcamp class! Good:- No line, easy ordering experience - Super super tasty vegan wet burrito! Tasted better than a normal burrito even - Fast arrival of the food, got it within 15 min Bad:- Pretty casual vibes here and not too fancy and not much service Overall would come again, great value too for the price.
