It was nice that there were a few kiosks you could order from. It was more convenient and efficient, and allowed the staff to just focus on fulfilling the orders.4.5/5 Fried Mochi Balls: I definitely came here just to try this, and it was very delicious! I liked the crispy exterior, and the soft, chewy interior. The powdered sugar made it a whole lot better. I dipped it into my ice cream, and that was gold. 3/5 Snowflake Cup with Ice Cream: This was essentially just sweet shaved ice with ice cream and your choice of toppings. It was good, but I thought it was overpriced for what it was. 4/5 Mango Yogurt Smoothie: I love anything mango, especially mango sago, and this did not disappoint. I recommend mixing up the drink really well first, unless you like the flavor separations.

Sweet Moment doesn't stand out much compared to other boba shops, but it does satisfy boba cravings. There is plenty of indoor seating, and service was quick--perhaps because I went later in the evening when it wasn't very busy. They offer more than just boba, with options like smoothies, coffee, desserts such as sago and ice cream, and snacks like popcorn chicken and egg puffs.I believe I ordered the Lychee Royal Black Tea, which I found very refreshing. I added lychee jelly as a topping, which I thoroughly enjoyed. While Sweet Moment may not be particularly unique, they make their boba delicious enough to earn a good rating from me.

3.5 starsDrinks are kind of bland to me, for the price I would expect it to be better. Popcorn chicken was good and they give a fair amount which makes up for the bland drinks I suppose. Service was quick. You order on a screen outside or inside the cafe and they get your order out in a decent time. Not going to go out of my way to come but it was okay at best.

GET THE FRIED MOCHI BALLS!!! wow... it's like a perfect blend of a mochi and disneyland beignet, in fact i prefer it over the disney beignets which is saying a lot. it's a bit on the oily end but i didn't mind, and i could probably eat all 5 in one sitting. it's located in a cute downtown area in san mateo, so worth trying if ur in area!

The red bean matcha smoothie is hands down one of my go-to drinks! If you're a fan of red bean and matcha, this drink is perfection in a cup. The fried mochi ball/doughnut is SO yummy. Everyone in my family loved it. Their drinks are very good as well.

First time and enjoyed our order . Their egg waffles were exceptional. My mango sago was so so . The black Thai rice was good . Tight space so don't expect to sit for long period when they are busy .

I came to this spot with a couple of friends after dinner. My friend recommended it, saying she loves the place. I ordered the mango sago (top right in the pic), and the flavor was really good. I liked that it wasn't too sweet, it had a nice tartness, and the mango chunks were real pieces of mango. But I was really surprised when it was served at warm temperature. I'm used to mango sago being cold at most dessert spots I go to so that kinda threw me off a bit. But overall, I enjoyed coming here to hangout.

Delicious variety of drinks and dessers offered here. I really enjoy the mochi waffle in particular - the mochi texture is executed well and the waffle doesn't feel too heavy.The mango sago is also executed very well here. It's not too sweet and the flavour is natural. The real mango chunks also add to the authentic mango flavour. Note: the interior doesn't have a lot of space and the dishes are packaged as takeout regardless of whether you intend on dining in or taking it out. As such, the service here is also non-existent.
