The nose on the semi-cloudy Ginjo nigori that is milled to 50% is a light collection of creamcycle, star fruit, citrus, and cream aromas. Talk about a suave and very elegant slightly misty sake, this brew is a gateway sake to get nigori drinkers to gravitate to filtered sakes. It is very easy on the palate with layers of gentle flavors such as melon, star fruit, cream, and hint of citrus. And as nigoris go this delicate brew is semi-dry and that is a rarity in the unfiltered category.

I love this place! I came to this place every year for the last 7 years and it never disappoints. The owner of this place is so sweet and accommodating and they are very caring about all their customers!The fish here is the star, it's so fresh and the cut of the fishes are good size. The sushi rolls, especially the African spider roll and the caterpillar are my favorite. Definitely worth it.The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating but come early since it place do get pretty crowded!

On a whim I decided to try this place and I'm so glad! The service is impeccable, very informative and quick. They had the Laker game on which is expected, but the TV is off to the side which I appreciate so the ambiance was chill with good music and good vibes. As soon as my party of 3 were seated we were served water and cucumber salad which they should bottle and sell in bulk. It's so tasty! We tried the chicken karage appetizer, seaweed salad, side salad which was delicious and a huge portion along with a few rolls and some mochi for dessert. All of the fish was fresh and delicious but I was especially impressed by the spicy tuna and the eel. I will definitely be back!

It was our first time trying this place after one whole year of living in this area, what a shame!! This place is so good! The owner is super nice and friendly. The service is great! The staffs are very attentive and always refill water and wasabi for us without having to ask. We love it here and we will come back for more! My most favorite dish is Presidio roll! The ambience is great We will come back and try more dishes for sure!! :)

I feel SO fortunate to live close to Sushi Bistro. It is an intimate space with only a handful of tables and a small staff. Both times we have been in, the quality, portion size, and preparation of everything we ordered has been phenomenal.The fish is always fresh and flavorful and the rolls are very thoughtfully crafted with ingredients that compliment the fish well. Be sure to ask about the specials, as their fish selection is always changing with the seasons and availability. The accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly staff really is the cherry on top to this already fabulous restaurant. Can't wait to come back!

Love this place already! I live nearby and have been trying all the food places in the area. The space was smaller than what I expected we came around 5:30 on a Wednesday night and beat the crowd. They give pickled cucumber as a small appetizer which was delicious and a pleasant surprise. Their menu has very unique rolls and both rolls my friend and I got were quite delicious. We inhaled our sushi I forgot to take a picture! The service was spot on. The person serving us was super friendly and staff was very tentative with refilling our water. I liked how easy it was to talk to the person serving us, he seemed like an easy going guy and very conversational. Would definitely come again just because staff was so nice.

Dude honestly I eat a lot of sushi I feel like I ate at most of the sushi spots in San Francisco if I missed any I'm sorry! This to me in my opinion is the best sushi spot in San Francisco. I ordered two sushi rolls and sashimi platters for me and my homies and dude it was awesome. It taste so fresh. The service was A1 they were quick and asked me if I needed anything else and the place is so peaceful and chill. I'll probably bring my lady to dine in one day. But yeah yall gotta check it out.

Place is decent. They should one day open up the sushi bar. The male asian employee was a great host. Give that guy a raise. The sushi quality and presentation were good . lack of fish variety blows.. I think thats what I remember from this place over the years. Would I go back?.. not after today.. After I waited quite a while for my check... cause the host was too busy taking sake shots with customers... (that was ok.. didn't really bother me)... I paid on their Toast payment system.. I was eager to leave. I left the place and decided to watch a little sports for a minute next door. A female host from the restaurant chase me down and claimed I didn't pay. Told me to come back in and take care of it! Wow! I followed her and could not find the male host. After a few moments he re-appeared. .. and I explained what just happened.. he apologized.. I left..and thats for good! Should've of made the extra effort to Ariake... much much much better place.
