Sun Valley Market

This is a decent little corner market with lots of goodies to go along with the mandatory staples. The service is great, I'm always greeted with a smile and kind words. If you need something quick for a party or yourself, this is a great little spot for your shopping needs.

I was told to try the deli at the market. The gentleman behind the counter is very friendly and makes an excellent sandwich. My sandwich was $13.99 and it was awesome. I went to Subway a while back and paid $18.00 and you know what you get at Subway. Give this man some business and you won't be disappointed.

This place was recommended by the awesome tattoo parlor next door to it. Pacifica 1 Tattoos (also the bomb) Deli sandwiches here are the bomb. Perfectly made! Stop in and enjoy

This is a great place to get things that you can't find elsewhere. Rare Monster Drink flavors, for instance. They will frequently take orders for things they do not carry. I'm a fan of Khaotic Monster Drink, it's a little known Orange Flavor, and so good!During the pandemic, they were also able to get me some of the Top Ramen Vegetarian Soy Sauce Flavor. They pretty much kept me alive as an Essential Worker during the pandemic when I was working all night and totally exhausted. I also requested Fritos Chili Cheese Corn Chips, which are now kept in stock, yay! And they have the mild bean dip as well.They have a good selection of Organic Fruit, Deli Sandwiches, treats of all kinds, rare Italian cookies and candies, old school candies, every kind of soda that you can think of. There are also a lot of little gift items, toy cars, cell phone accessories, etc. Forgot your friend's birthday, or your anniversary? Stop here and check out the fancy cookies, chocolates, cakes and other gift items.I would be remiss not to mention that they have pretty much every flavor of It's It Ice Cream Sandwiches. They also have 7 pound bags of Fresh Ice.

They carry tahini. That fact in and of itself made this corner market (not really on a corner, however) trip worth it to me. I was actually on the hunt for that last loaf of bread not yet snapped up by the panic shoppers (thanks, Covid 19!) when I pulled into the Sun Valley parking lot. I was not disappointed on the bread front as they'd recently received their delivery.Perusing the other aisles in the off-chance I might need other things, I discovered the tahini and a few other products from the part of the world in and around Palestine. At the deli counter, tucked away at the back of the shop past the till, one can find not only prepared subway sandwiches, but also falafel, half pints of tabbouleh, dolmas and hummus.Sun Valley also boasts a small produce section, a narrow selection of kitchen wares, beer, liquor, cleaning products, and the usual chips-n-soda type stuff that one finds at most other corner markets.

I love this location of the Sun Valley Market. I frequent all their stores quite a bit because they seem to have one in every part of Pacifica that I frequent! Sure their prices are a little higher than most grocery stores, but you pay for convenience when you visit a market like this so that's to be expected. They have a great selection of beer/liquor for their size as well and that is a great plus for this store! They also have a large selection of single-serve sodas and juice that gives most large grocery stores a run for their money. The store is very well stocked and has almost anything you could be looking for. If you live close by and need random (or forgotten) items but don't want to drive too far, sun valley most likely has it.They also have a deli counter which makes sandwiches. I work closeby and this is greatly appreciated, they make decent sandwiches here and I always seem to grab one when I forget to pack a lunch.

Good corner market only if you need a quick grab and go snack or sandwich for the beach. Over priced for groceries and not fresh. My milk that I just purchased expires 10/22 and the 5.99 pint of cream expires 10/28. My fault, I should have looked. Some fresh veggies, decent alcohol selection and boxed, bagged foods. Customer service not friendly unless they know you. He was very friendly to the gentleman that came in the door while ringing me up. I just moved in 1/2 mile away so it's convenient but don't think I'll be back.

Well stocked. Family oriented market. Love Sun Vally Dairy, Fine Foods and now Market.Ive been shopping at Sun Valley for what seems like forever and enjoy every bit of it. Great family owned business, never once have heard or had any issues here from always being charged correctly to just having the personal touch with all the associates. For a smaller market place the deli has a ton of options, not only that but a full produce section? I was super impressed by how they even fit everything in there while keeping it so well organized and clean.Great business with better people running it

This is a grocery store located in Pacifica right off Route 1. I was just expecting to stop by for a drink but it's actually a decently sized grocery store with lots of things, not just food and drinks. You can buy some emergency supplies here too, I'm sure. The prices for most of the items also seemed reasonable.They also don't have limits on credit card purchases (none of the minimum $10 I've seen sometimes), so that's great.

BEWARE!!!! Employee refused to wear a mask at SUN VALLEY MARKET on Reina del Mar late this afternoon. The man (owner?) working behind the register did not have a mask on. When I asked him to put one on he said he didn't have one, that he was busy now, and stayed right there. He refused to protect himself and his customers!!!.He didn't care at all. Does the person making the food in the deli wash their hands or use a mask? How can a business (owner) not care about the customer. I am greatly disappointed, I have shopped there for years, happy to support a local business.
