I recently had the pleasure of dining at STK for the first time, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! Our server, Z, truly made the night unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, he was welcoming and friendly, making it easy to chat and feel at home.Z took the time to explain the menu in detail and even suggested some perfect pairings that elevated our meal. His recommendations were spot on and made our dining experience that much better. You can tell he is passionate about his job and genuinely wants guests to have a fantastic experience. Now, let's talk about the food--absolutely amazing! I'd rate it a solid 10 out of 10. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The only downside is that we live about an hour away, but this trip was absolutely worth it. I can't wait to come back and enjoy another fantastic meal, especially if Z is our server again!If there's any justice in the world, Z deserves a raise for his outstanding service. I'll definitely be recommending STK to my friends and family, and I hope they get to experience the exceptional service we did!Thank you, Z, for making our first visit so memorable!

Came on a Friday night and Z was our server. This server is the best in San Francisco. He is Nice professional neat and very knowledgeable about the menu. Doorman opened the door with a smile and they have a DJ that plays very well mixed house music. Food was delicious and the drinks were fast and pretty strong. Will definitely show up again and easily a must stop steakhouse in SF! 5 stars.

I wasn't a fan of this place. The space felt too small, and the atmosphere was uncomfortably loud. Our server was pushy about ordering alcoholic drinks and wouldn't take no for an answer, which was frustrating. The portion sizes were way too small, and my steak was disappointingly dry.On top of that, the complimentary bread wasn't brought out until I had to ask for it--something that should be automatic. The people I was with weren't impressed either. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn't return.

It was my day off and some of my yelp friends recommended this spot to me so here I am. I started off with this complimentary bread w/chive oil. The bread was well seasoned and fluffy. For my main course I ordered the surf and turf filet w/lobster. I had wagyu umami butter and a bearnaise sauce to go with it. The lobster and steak were cooked to perfection. I also had a Yukon gold mashed potatoes on the side w/a Parmesan crust. The mashed potatoes were creamy and I loved the crust. For dessert I had the bag o donuts because it was the most unique dessert on the menu. It was served with a raspberry, caramel, and a chocolate sauce. It was a solid was to end the dinner. The service where was great. My server Jeanelle was kind and provided great recommendations on the menu. This restaurant is gorgeous. It's a place where I would go for a special occasion or for a little date night. If you want to impress your date, take her here. Try it out if you like. :)

If you're looking for a fun dining experience -reminiscent of club-going days- complete with a live DJ who turns the volume up for an impromptu show where the waitstaff parades through the restaurant with glow sticks and shots around 9pm- this place is for you! The appetizers, steaks and dessert were good and the waiter fantastic! Great place for the 55 and under crowd- at least for dinner. Take Uber or Lift as parking is far or nonexistent.

I came for the $10 burger and fries lunch special, hoping for a "steakhouse" burger--thick, juicy, and artisan vibes. What I got felt more... Chili's adjacent. But hey, for $10, I wasn't expecting Wagyu. Let's break it down: The burger itself was fine--clearly a pre-formed, probably pre-frozen patty. The "artisan" lettuce? More like the scraps they didn't want to put in salads--thick, white iceberg chunks that screamed, "bottom of the barrel." The saving grace was the sauce--truffle? Maybe? It added a nice touch of flavor mystery.Now, the fries. Oh, the fries. They had potential (those coated kind that should have been crispy perfection) but came out barely warm. Why? Because I spotted my food sitting in a server's hand while they had a 5-minute heart-to-heart with another staffer. Long enough for me to notice, whip out my phone, and snap evidence of this fry-abandonment saga.The plate arrived with a warning: "Careful, it's hot!" Spoiler alert: It was not.Lastly, they hit me with a survey on the check. Do I really want to rate bad service while my server is standing there, hoping for a tip? No. And when I tried? The survey glitched and wouldn't take my check number. I gave up, leaving me no choice but to awkwardly escape before anyone asked how I rated them.Redeeming factors: the price is unbeatable, and those fries might've been a win if served hot. But next time, I'm steering clear of the survey drama and sticking to my $10 lunch dreams elsewhere.

Aj was the absolute best , he made sure our first experience was amazing and made sure my best friend had the best birthday dinner. can't thank him enough.
