Off the path brewery that offers a variety of beers on tap. It's a great spot for a super low key evening as there is standup comedy outside when the weather is warmer or in the distillery on select nights.I've been to both spaces and it's fun, depending on the luck of the draw of comedians. The bar area can get hot and stuffy pretty fast when there's a lot of people.Note the distillery for standup is quiet and energy can be low in the evenings since there are only string lights and no music. One comedian described it as "a group gathering in the dark waiting for a vigil to a tragedy" LOL

The place is closed now... speakeasy beer has not been made in SF for quite some time... a shame they continue to present it as such...

This used to be the most happening brewery in San Francisco. They had beer fests, food vendors and anniversary parties. They were bought out a few years ago, then bought again with nothing coming of it. It's sad that this place is dead.

I heard about this brewery was hosting a vegan food event (Veguary) so I had to make the trek to see what it's all about. There's easy street parking in the area which makes a visit less stressful. This is a black owned brewery, making traditional brews. Staff are easy going and committed to the beer. The space inside is relaxing with nooks to grab a drink and chill. My eyes landed on a few board games too. It's a great place to support in addition to all the fun social events! I wish I lived closer. I tried Big Daddy IPA. A crisp and light IPA that was enjoyable for me as I'm not a fan of IPA's. The Sadie Stout was thick and heavy in the best ways. I also had the larger which was one of the lighter options on the menu. It was my favorite. Back to the food! It turns out these events happen at least monthly. It was so great to see so many vendors together. It really made me giddy (maybe it was my third beer). Alma y Sazon tacos were loaded with tasty ingredients. I will be back to try their Jamaica tacos! Sadly they ran out of these tasty bites. Chef Reina was dishing out ribs and omg they were heavenly! How the heck, chef! I'm so glad I got to try it. This was one of the vendors that made me get out of pajamas on a rainy day. A Violet Fashion had incredible dresses, shirts, and skirts. I walked away with a couple of unique and one of a kind items. Plant n Soul was slinging pizzas but ran out of the po' boys that I wanted to try. Next time! Raised Roots was selling delicious fermented hot sauces and produce. The hot sauces are passion in a bottle. You can taste the love or at least the heat. I grabbed an incredible brownie but I don't remember who made it. Seriously, I gobbled it up. Go support these incredible vendors and the brewery! It's worth your time and money.

Tried their flight which was very good. The Prohibition Ale is their best. Always sunny in this part of The City so sitting and sipping outside was a very pleasant experience. Never seen it very crowded so there are always tables inside and plenty of beers to choose from.

I went to this brewery in SF because they had a Latin America food festival. I was worried about getting parking so got there early. The weather was prefect. The had some picnic tables set up under a canopy. There were about 10 or more food trucks and a DJ playing music. Although they are a brewery I didn't sample any of the beer. I would have liked to sample all the food because it all looked so good. There were trucks with Cuban, Mexican, El Salvadoran, Mayan Puerto rican Nicaragua, Peru, Haiti, Venezuela, foods. So many to choose from. It was a nice small event. Everybody was friendly, and it was dog, friendly, and best of all it was free. The food wasn't free, of course but the event was.

My husband and I were beer hopping on Saturday and randomly found this place. It was pretty slow when we went there. The beer was good the bartender was very kind to help us choosing a good beer. The place it self is not big but it seemed like they do lots of stuffs on the outside. They had list of events on the wall but the day we went had no event. We were very hoping to have some snacks with the beer but they had zero snack. So we had to finish our beer and move on to the next one. I would try this place again with an event.

I have respect for Vegetarians as much as I can never be one. God created those wonderful animals to be eaten! Decided to try some vegan donuts and to my surprise, it tasted really good and not gross! Vandor is a San Francisco native who used to work at a doughnut shop while attending Galileo high school. Pandemic helped him find his niche. The donuts are delicious and great flavored. Baked and not fried. Soft and chewy inside. Reasonably priced about $2.25 per donut. I ordered the:-horchata- gentle flavor-chocolate glazed- not too sweet-cinnamon sugar- right balance of cinnamon-lemon glaze- if you like flavor, get this!- Thai tea- my favorite!- matcha glaze- gentle flavors of match powder - Please show him some love and support. It's currently a pop-up and you can order through ig @whackdonuts

Not sure what happened to this place. It used to be great, and now it is only open at random times and has limited to no selection of beer.I stopped by on a sunny Sunday afternoon with a group of people and was informed by the bartender/manager that they were, "out of beer," before we made it across the parking lot. Hopefully they can hire some new staff and attract people to the taproom once again.
