Sidewalk Café

Great sandwiches, coffee, and baked goods. My neighbor friend likes Cheese Plus and told me to come here for sandwiches as well. On top of that, one r/SanFrancisco Reddit thread on sandwiches recommended the Willie Brown Bird here (which I have yet to order, but will someday.)Loved the North Beach sandwich and Cole Valley, as well as seasonal fruit kouign amanns and spinach croissants. There's nice outdoor seating where you can people-watch or read.

First time coming Here today Great sandwiches, good quality lettuce, bread, cheeses, mustard, tuna. Quality items really count and I plan to be a repeat customer

Drink :Coffee They have food menu which I will come back forSERVICE:Friendly barista :) Choppin it up with him about the weather, coffee was quick ATMOSPHERE I'm totally an atmosphere and drawn to this primarily to be able to enjoy the outdoors, nice French cafe small round tables alongside the sidewalk (well this the sidewalk cafe's name) and the city public parklet seating on opposite, where they thoughtfully placed a water dish for passing doggies (nob/Russian hill has lots of dog owners)

The coffee is not bad at all and I'm very picky about my coffee but... How can it take him 15 minutes to make a coffee with no line? Both guys working at the coffee shops were playing around, on their phones not considering how long we have been waiting!

Though the cheese pluffin was a tiny bit oily, the stuffed toast plus is awesome and their sandwiches look phenomenal! They are made to order after you pick off the menu. But what I decided really gives them 5 stars is their friendly fast service and there house made chocolate sauce; I tried their Caffe Mocha and it is SO DELICIOUS!! Not to sweet, not to thick and weird. I drank it with their soy milk and I went and got a second one, so good! Yum!

We waited 40minutes for a simple grilled cheese, then the staff realized they forgot about the order, made a quick sandwich with the cheese not even melted - terrible

Waited for 45 mins for a grilled cheese sandwich to realize they forgot our order. And there wasn't anyone ahead of us so they were not busy. When we told the staff about it, the manager stared right at us and gave us the "there's nothing I can do about it" look with the most insincere "sorry." When we finally did get our order, the cheese was not even all the way melted so we got a grilled cheese with cold cheese. When we went back to the counter, the manager looked at the half cooked grilled cheese and gave a big sigh, rolling eyes and just gave us a refund. Worst customer service ever. Don't go there.
