One of my staple go-tos for chow fun when I'm in the Outer Richmond. Just stopped in two days ago for lunch, combination chow fun thank you.The other reviews are spot-on - they don't skimp on ingredients and it's always a large portion, perfect comfort food.On Clement there are, of course, a wealth of options. Over the years this has become the joint for me when I'm in the Avenues and need to get my chow fun groove on.

This spot is so unbelievably good. Situated in Outer Richmond it's off the main beat in the city, which is maybe what protects it from over exposure, that and its extremely low key and old school vibe. It's not a flashy tourist spot and hits all the notes of a legit piece of Sichuan flavor right there for the taking. I've visited San Francisco about 10 times over the past 15 months, and I have eaten here on every single visit, I just can't be bothered to even try any of the multitudes of wonderful restaurants the cit has to offer - yup i found tasty heaven and don't need to look any further.Go to dishes: Chong Qing Style Chili Chicken, which i've tried all over the world, and this is literally the gold standard, you cannot find a better version, it's insane how light, crispy, and delicious it is compared to how any other place does it.Spicy Pickled Fish is another outstanding dish that tops any other version I've tried. The broth is liquid gold, so tasty, just cannot stop drinking it even when all of the silken tofu and melt in your mouth fish has been consumed, I could probably eat this every day if I'm being honest.I feel compelled to write this review in the odd chance it inspires a few folks to give them a try, you will be so happy that you did!

One of my favorite Sichuan places to order delivery from. We normally get their chong qing chicken (their spicy fish filet version of it is good too) since it's one of the only places that don't skimp out on the chicken. I've gotten tired of ordering chong qing chicken from restaurants to only find a mound of chili peppers and barely any chicken, so I appreciate their ratio here!Their spicy boiled fish filet is also good, but I've had better at neighboring Sichuan restaurants. We recently tried their steam tofu with crab meat and egg yolk, but I feel like it was missing a little more crab flavor to the dish.

Unassuming place on Clement with a front and a back - we asked to sit in the back where it seemed regulars sat. The service was friendly and fast with recommendations as needed. The mala spice was so good and the fish was my highlight. Extensive menu but from what i tried, seems like a spot I would come back to often (if only i lived closer!)

I come to SF a few times a year and every time I'm in town I have to eat here. The food is so delicious! We typically get take out. Easy to place the order online or over the phone and pick up is always on time. My favorite dishes are their fried rice, crispy spicy tofu, and the fried eggplant dish. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend!

I went there alone and had a chance to try general Tso' chicken, it was great as I imagined sweet, sour and lightly spicy! The menu book is very new-visitor-welcomed, I mean there were certain categories of food with pictures (thanks god I love them) and indicated levels of spicy. Service was good too, the staffs were helpful and friendly. I'd recommend this place for authentic sichuan food.

A great find! This place was a perfect mix of traditional fare but still accessible for Americans like me who are rather uncultured lol. Instead of bringing out water they bring you a kettle of hot tea, amazing! Such a soft and tasteful tea too. It was lovely. The menu was very vast with so many options. We ended up getting the orange chicken and the pork dumplings with a side of rice. Everything was very tasty! I wasn't a huge fan of the soy sauce provided so the dumplings fell a bit short for me. The orange chicken was some of the best I've ever had! The staff was friendly but definitely gave you your space! The space was clean and quite large and airy for San Fran. Overall a great experience!

Dear Yelp Reader,I hope this finds you well. I see you're looking at Sichuan Tasty Restaurant. I'm writing to inform you that this is an amazing, if not the best, Szechuan place in San Francisco. You should know that while the parking might be hard to find, it's well worth the wait. You'll find yourself pleasantly surprised by the variety of options on the menu while also by the extremely affordable prices. You'll be blown away by the low prices for tasteful dishes with the large portion sizes provided. Who would've thought restaurants like that exist anymore?A medium-sized, quick service restaurant, you get all the flavor packed into whatever you eat. Take your time and get to it.

A group of us came here for a coworker's farewell dinner and shared a bunch of dishes. Despite being a Friday evening, it wasn't packed and we were able to be seated at a large table without a wait. Spiciness of their dishes:0 chili peppers = Not spicy1 chili pepper = Spicy AKA mild2 chili peppers = Medium spicy AKA regular spicy3 chili peppers = Very Spicy AKA extra spicy Our order:水煮牛肉 Spicy Boiled Beef (2 chili peppers): $24.95+Pieces of beef were soft and tender+Not too oily or salty+/- As someone who doesn't have a high spice tolerance, I thought this was mild spicy.一品毛血旺 Mao Xue Wang (3 chili peppers): $26.95+Contained a variety of items: Beef tripe, cabbage, duck blood, intestines, lotus root, Spam, vermicelli+Duck blood wasn't overcooked: It was my 1st time trying this, and it was so smooth & supple (no metallic taste at all).+Intestines were perfectly cooked: Not like rubber bands or too soft-Skimped on the more expensive ingredients: It was mostly cabbage, lotus root, Spam, vermicelli.+/- As someone who doesn't have a high spice tolerance, I thought this was tolerable.田园粉蒸排骨 Steamed Spareribs (1 chili pepper): $15.95+Spareribs were tender and there were a good amount present.+Despite being spicy, I ate a couple pieces because the seasoning was really good.-They were coated in a thick sauce that reminded me of mashed potatoes.+/- As someone who doesn't have a high spice tolerance, I thought this was spicy and definitely not mild.孜然羊肉 Cumin Lamb (2 chili peppers): $16.95-Lamb was dry-I prefer cumin lamb from other places where you can taste the spices and not just the heat.+/- As someone who doesn't have a high spice tolerance, I thought this was the spiciest dish.特色烤鱼 Sichuan Style Roast Whole Fish (2 chili peppers): $45.95-I didn't try this, but my coworkers who did were disappointed because it was the most expensive yet the worst dish of the night.樟茶鸭 Tea Smoked Duck (0 chili peppers): $23.95+Good portion size-Duck was on the drier side-Skin wasn't crispy-No tea flavor, but the side sauce (reminded me of hoisin sauce) added some flavor手撕包菜 Spicy stir-fried cabbage (1 chili pepper): $13.95+Cabbage still retained some crunch+Perfectly seasoned+Everyone kept going back for more and this was the first dish that we finished.蒜子大豆苗 Garlic Pea Sprouts (0 chili peppers): Market Price+Pea sprouts were tender (not fibrous)+Good portion for the price: During our visit, I believe it was $14.95.+Not too greasy or saltyComplimentary hot tea & iced water were provided.*Verdict: Most of the dishes were mid, and as someone who doesn't crave spicy food I wouldn't come back. My coworkers who enjoy spicy food thought the food was just okay and wouldn't return either. In addition, service left a lot to be desired.
