1 star for ONE piece of meat on my sandwhich. What do I look like? A bird? Here I am working hard in this building on tech stuff and hungry and I get served ONE piece of meat on my sandwich. How am I supposed to function and do my work if I'm STILL HUNGRY!?

Little place in an office building. The lobby just outside of the deli is super beautiful with natural light and trees and comfortable seating. The place itself is your typical fare but the lobby is a great place to chat.

Shoreway Cafe has a lot of rotating lunch specials which is nice, I don't know why more people don't do that! So excited to try the bibimbap. Sandwich options are pretty typical, but FYI and this is really important - they do NOT have pickles, I repeat: no pickles!! They do have lots of sprouts though, I think that's the substitute which is fine in general just not for my pickle-loving self (seriously, I ate so many as a kid my mom made up a story about a little girl who ate so many pickles that she ended up smelling like pickles).I ordered the club which in theory was perfect because it was that triple-stack one you get at fancy restaurants, but overall it was just meh. I felt like I could make it at home, it needed a certain Je ne sais quoi. But hey its a club, it was A-OK, it had bacon, and I still ate the whole thing - could just be taken up a notch. The turkey and ham tasted like packaged basic deli meat you'd get in the refrigerated section at a grocery store which like I said is fine but that's what made it kind of homemade for me. Still good! The people who work here were extremely kind-natured, I will most definitely be back. And I love the lobby! It reminds me of Rincon Center in downtown SF (YO, that Mexican place in there has legit breakfast burritos BTW). It's one of those lobbies where for a second you're like "Hold the phone, am I outdoors because I thought I was indoors?" because there is so much light, plants, fountains/pools, and it's quiet as well. Bibimbap I am coming for you!!

I eat here for lunch 3-4 times a week during my lunch break since its downstairs from my office/cubicle.The cafe is run by very nice Korean ladies who serve different healthy entree specials and also a wide variety of deli sandwhiches and salads. I usually stick to the daily special, which ranges from lasagna, spicy tuna sashimi, chicken burritos, BBQ korean ribs and bi bim bop! They also serve breakfast and make a delicious egg mcmuffin!Everything is around $5-$6.50 at most! If you're around belmont and looking for a healthy lunch stop, this is your place. Go!

The croissant breakfast sandwich with egg, provolone and bacon is excellent and very reasonably priced. Plenty of seating either inside the cafe, or in the common area next to the waterfall. Service is excellent, also. Plenty of parking in the back, behind the University of California Extension building. They don't have wifi inside the cafe itself, but Cal has a guest wifi just outside the cafe, in the atrium.

I dine here once every week. Normally I come in on Tuesday for Bi Bim Bap. For other weekdays I always call before going as they have different lunch special everyday. I like this place because of the family style cooking. Price for lunch special has gone up since my first visit in 2010 from $6 to $7.5. However, there are really not many lunch choices in this area so I still go to this place a lot.

I think this place changed ownership..... Been eating here for 15 years and went in today to get a sandwich and the posted price is 6.45 when I went to pay it was 6.95 ... 50 cents more I asked why the answer shocked me .... Because you wanted it on a roll "that's extra" so my sandwich (which is made with bread ) is more because I wanted it on a roll and was never told it would be extra.... What a rip off .... Why don't you just charge 6.95 for all sandwiches roll or sliced bread and get rid of extra charges. Needless to say I am never going back there to eat ... They have bad business practices and hide charges.

Pretty good lunch spot. I ordered chicken bento, which came w spicy chicken Korean style, Korean style pickled cucumbers, radish, deep fried zucchini and rice for $8+tax. Since it is getting very expensive to eat in peninsula, I think this is a pretty good deal.
