Shaws San Francisco

We very much enjoyed walking in on a Friday for dessert. The young lady that helped us was very pleasant and had wonderful customer service! Classic American ice cream parlor vibes!

I went in for fudge and saw FLIES crawling all over the pieces. Why is all the other candies in sealed cabinet's but the fudge is out in the open?? I left buying nothing. Shaw's please consider also putting your fudge in a container as well and I will reverse my review and become a returning customer again. Unfortunately I cannot come back until I know this has been fixed.

Shaw's offers sorbet that even ice cream enthusiasts should try, and they are very community-focused. My family has been coming here for years because they consistently deliver excellence!

This is one of my favorite places for a sweet tooth . They have all kinds of sweet treats here. I am so glad they have Mitchell ice cream with great flavors like Mango. There is lots of candy here for all occasions. A fun atmosphere. Shaws since 1931 has been a good San Francisco neighbor, with sweet treats in lots of different flavor.

Super cute inside for the holidays and delicious ice cream and snacks! We got the grasshopper pie (mint ice cream with fudge, chocolate chips and oreos) and the almond dark chocolate brittle. Yum!

Independent store with chocolate, ice cream and more. I came to use a gift card and it's a nice little store in the west portal neighborhood.

Got to love an old school institution like Shaws. Great ice cream and candy, and just a cute vibe.

This is such a cute shop! Felt like a dream to walk inside. You get the colorful chocolate confections and you have ice cream selections to choose from. I opted for a sundae and took home some toffee and turtles.The sundae was delicious! I love Mitchell's ice cream, so it was nice that they use that here. It was such a delectable sundae. The chocolate was also very good. The toffee is delicious! I believe they charge $20 a pound or so but it may vary per variety of candy.Would come back here again! Great place for dessert.

Cutesy ice cream parlor, been around for a while. Very colorful and always up to date with different themes and holidays inside. The service is quick and super efficient. The fudge tastes artificial, but you can never go wrong with the ice cream.

Old time ambiance candy and ice cream store for kids and kids at heart alike. Ice cream is Mitchell's (the have a variety of favors including a cast of standbys and rotating guest flavors). There are vegan sorbet option for dairy free moments too. They have a variety of chocolates by the pound many of which are homemade and are well-stocked on old skool and new varieties of candies. Plus there's a charming plush swing and seating that makes it seem more like a dessert cafe than your typical ice cream shop - I mean what's not to love here? The prices are reasonable to boot. It's a neighborhood gem in the realm of Swensen's and Mitchell's. Xoxo to Shaws.
