Got a sandwich from this place. It was delicious. The man behind the counter whipped out 8 sandwiches for us in a span of 15 mins. He ran that shop like the navy. The sandwich was delicious. It was just the cold cut sandwich experience I wanted.

In town for a few days looking for a good sandwich near hotel and came across this place via Yelp. Great menu of sandwiches and build your own. Wine display is fabulous.

Asked for extra mayo and they barely gave me any at all. My sandwich probably would've been good if it wasn't so dry. Service was nice though

Ordered a roast beef sandwich via Grubhub the other day and they "forgot" my sandwich when ordering. They were nice enough to send someone over and even included a complimentary Twix bar.Sadly enough, the bread wasn't too soft nor fresh. Their roast beef must have been some super prime roast beef as there was merely one thin slice of roast beef....maybe that's why there was an option for extra roast beef for $3......needless to say, I was still quite hungry after "lunch"...

The food was pretty okay, but the dude made me happy, cuz I went in there hella late, and didn't want to be a fussy baby, asking for a sammich, even though I was starving, but he was super cool and made me the samsquanch anyway!How cool is that! Super! Anyway, my partner got some sort of weird Yerba Mate drink and it was awful. I don't know how the heck she drinks that stuff, and I don't even want to ever know, but it was yuck yuck!Come here super late and night and they will service you!But stay away from the Mate! Cuz that will make you regret all your life decisions leading up to that point. Whaddya gonna do!I can't remember the last time I watered my plants...MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!

Really upset with this establishment. I ordered via Uber Eats and asked for no mustard on my sandwich. Received my ginormous sandwich DRENCH IN MUSTARD!!!! I AM ALLERGIC TO MUSTARD GOD DAMMIT. Why include a notes section if you won't even read/look at them. I would give this place 1 star but decided to add the extra star because it's so frickin huge. I'm just so upset I can't even eat it. My friend, however, loves it. So you made someone happy I guess. Also, my order didn't even have a receipt attached to it.ALSO. this review is strictly based on 1 of the 2 sandwiches that I ordered. Very bad service, quote merchandise prices excluding taxes. So you have an extra price on your receipt. Keep your money publik.

I've been wanting to try a sandwich from this place since I pass by it on the way to work and the reviews are decent. Got the Cuban which sounded good with the addition of homemade pork shoulder. While the sando was "ok" tasting I was very disappointed there was no pork shoulder but bacon instead and it was that cheap super processed pre-cooked bacon. They really need to update their menu. As mediocre as this sandwich was the woman behind the counter was very sweet.

Good service now that they have women behind the counter. we come to the neighborhood frequently for business and once the women started working there the service really improved. the deli is good the place is clean and the purchasing options are excellent. A previous experience had us questioning whether ever to return. we came in to order sandwiches and some guy came in and wanted to talk Cigars and wine and we were Sumarily dismissed, ignored altogether So we left. Very different now

Stopped in for the first time during the pandemic - before my vaccination appointment at the nearby Moscone Center. Parked my bike in the Bike Link lockers (BikeLink.org) in the 5th & Mission Street Garage, across the street from SF D&W. The woman behind the counter made a great BLAT sandwich (a good BLT becomes great with the avocado... and the bacon's gotta be crispy).A few weeks later, second vaccine dose... and no question that lunch would be another BLAT from SF D&W.Yerba Buena Park is nearby to enjoy the food outdoors.
