You know what I love about the sandwiches here, it's made with love, and that makes the food better. LolPlus it's a nice little neighborhood market where you can pretty much find whatever you want there in terms of alcohol, snacks, sodas and treats. Nice big 20min zone parking for those quick stops in the neighborhood. Pro tip: if you can't find parking, there is a senior center parking lot across the street.

$15 for a sandwich is a bit pricey. The service was great and the sandwich was tasty but I don't feel the pricy match the quality and size of the sandwich.

From the outside, it seems to look like your typical corner store. Window decals display the deals. People stroll out with paper bags in hand. It's surrounded by homes and nearby schools. The inside tells a less typical story. Yes. It does have your everyday merchandise. Knickknacks, foods, and miscellaneous necessities fill the shelves in the three aisles. You know...the kind of stuff your mom might have sent you down to pick up in a pinch. What makes this place different, though, is the cleanliness and the organization. The people here really make the effort to maintain their store and it shows.Any type of drink you might be in the mood for is here. Coffee is right by the door for those in a hurry. Cold refreshments are well stocked in the coolers along the walls. I'm sure those cold SF mornings and warm bay summer days are busy busy times for this little store.Speaking of busy busy, I have no doubt that their deli does just as well. It's lined up right by the front register and offers an assortment of sandwiches. Pre-made or as you wish. When I'm in the area, I usually pick up something pre-made in a "to go" plastic container. These sandwiches usually come with a few sides like mixed fruit and pasta. Quality. I don't ever wonder how long they've been sitting there. Never had a problem. It doesn't hurt that the people behind the counter are all smiles, either. The two I always see are usually in good spirits and stop whatever they're doing to ask if I need anything." Yes, thanks. To go pack with an iced tea, please." I get a deal that most probably don't. But you didn't hear that from me...Walk in with a nod and a smile like I always do. Then maybe you'll get one, too.

School house deli is nestled well in the suburbs of SSF. The sandwiches are pretty good however it seems they have changed the coppa they use. It used to be dry and more aged. Lately its been this wet coppa that's more salty than smoky. I'm switching back to salami. Ingredients are standard but the soft white bread is very good. Service is good here and they write down your order on a check sheet so it good. There were a few times they've ran out of bread and meats in the afternoons FYI. All in all a pretty cool deli.

It's not about the sammiches folks, it's about the SERVICE! Working for a company nearby, I can personally attest to the fabulosity that is Gus and his team. Advance notice, last minute, whatever - he'll bring me huge deli platters for sammich making, far too much beer, wine, soda & water, plus ice, cups and big red buckets for said ice, beer, wine, soda & water. They're my go to for beverage catering needs, and will do for food in a pinch. Friendly and reliable, I've converted a good chunk of my coworkers over for their adult beverage needs as well.

Working in SSF i always like to find the best places for certain cravings i'm in the mood for. One day i was in the mood for a deli sandwich. Now i reviewed a deli before on yelp and that place was so shat so i was discouraged to try any other deli in south city BUT i found school house deli and i swear i'm hooked!I'm there atleast twice a week the gals that work there are hella cool customer service is great! classic south city feel. The sandwiches wow! fresh bread, they have this garlic spread there that i think they put crack in it because i feen for that sauce every week yum! the roast beef and cheddar on dutch crunch extra garlic spread my favorite i recommend it. They also have this tune melt there uhhh weeeee hella good. 6 bucks for a combo with chips and a drink u cant be that. ask about the sandwich card TRUST ME YOU WILL COME BACK! i hate letting people know becuz i dont want it to get crowded but this little hidden gem is just too good to keep for myself.

I am in here almost every day for lotto, a snack, a drink something. I don't know why I never thought to yelp it. Anyway great place with even better people, they are all beyond friendly ... The owners have done a fantastic job with staff selection. One of the best is Mike, people have said he looks mean or rude but all that proves is they haven't talked to him ... Nicest guy in the world hands down.

First let me just say that I've been going to schoolhouse market for a few years and I love their service and their sandwiches. However today I went and ordered a smoked turkey sandwich with everything and when I got home found pieces of plastic that were cut up inside of the sandwich. I made myself throw up what I had eaten and called my doctor they asked me to come in for some X-rays. I went to school house and showed Romel who is the owner, and his response was a little bit of plastic never heard nobody this came directly from the owner. So I suggest to everybody that's buying sandwiches from there please check your sandwiches because of the owner is okay with plastic or things that shouldn't be inside your sandwiches I don't think that's right this happened on December 9th between 12:00 and 1:30 p.m.

I first ordered a sandwich through Grubhub. At first I was hesitant because I'm not used to ordering food from a liquor store. But I went for it and really liked it! I enjoyed it so much that I came back here in person to order a sandwich twice so far. I usually get the hot pastrami with everything except onions. The pesto and garlic sauce really compliment the sandwich too. The Dutch crunch is on the softer, sweeter side. It's not my preference so I usually get the sweet roll instead. Price for a sandwich is around $10. There are sides like pasta salad and macaroni salad which are good too. I believe after 5 PM they stop making sandwiches but there are premade ones in the fridge to buy. Some have sides and others are just sandwiches. Staff are friendly too!

Used to love this place but I ordered 3 sandwiches and there was almost zero meat. Disappointed. Not to mention the girl behind the counter has no personality at all. Probably will have to convince my family to try them again.
