I went to this Yemeni coffee shop in the city before work early in the morning. The cafe was spacious and had a lot of charm.I ordered an iced chai with oat milk. The chai was delicious. One of the best chais I've ever had.I was there at 7am and was not really hungry. I ordered a chocolate croissant which was flakey. It was good. Next time I want to try the baklava or one of the cakes. I will be back!

Came here to see what Barbra Lee had to say at Sana'a Cafe where she held a Q&A and what she would do as mayor of Oakland if she was elected. The other star was the Sana'a Cafe itself.Nice ambience. Great unique tasting coffee, teas as well as other things to drink. Also great food choices to go with the coffee and such

Came to Sana'a Cafe after a trip to the SF MoMA. It's a nice, small Yemeni cafe with seating and good wifi. I decided to order a Matcha Latte, which was alright. Not the best I've had but also not the worst. They have a wide selection of desserts and pastries that all looked delicious. I also decided to order a Biscoff Cheesecake slice, priced at $8.50. The cheesecake was delicious and a lot creamier/thicker than other cheesecakes I've had. It almost reminded me of a toffee flavor/consistency. The man working the register said that there were no nuts but there must've been some cross contamination since my boyfriend got a slight allergic reaction.

Okay this experience is strictly off the taste of these drinks! My little sister brought this to me! They visited Sana's Cafe and said it was a cute and clean place that has parties and drinks! They got me the passionfuit mango I believe and it was SOOOOOOO bomb!!! Now that purple drink was dragonfruit and some other flavor but I will be going back for that one! Love this place already and I can't wait to try more items off the menu!

I loved my experience at Sana'a Cafe! I ordered the Sana'a iced latte, Carmel milk cake and spinach and cheese pastries. Everything was incredible and tasted amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful and the employees were really friendly and nice. Overall 10/10!

Sadly, I was very disappointed in the chai here. I ordered the Adeni Chai and it was $6 for what essentially tasted like milk sprinkled with cardamom and cinnamon. The cup was also half ice. The place itself is well decorated with plenty of seating. The pastries do look good but I didn't try them.

Seems like Yemeni coffee houses are spreading in the Bay Area. We visited Sana'a Cafe in the heart of the city. The ambience, with the gilded bronze middle eastern coffee brewing equipment, Moorish style glass and metalic tiles on the wall and painting of middle eastern towns, it felt like you are transported to Morocco. We tried a pot of jubani (medium light roast coffee and coffee hucks served with ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon), a chicken pie, and two Turkish delights (one covered with rose petals, the other saffron and herbs). The pot of tea came with two petite cups, and the together with the plate of treats were sat upon a beautiful carved metal tray. We enjoyed the fragrant and aromatic jubani. It is different from the overtly sweet and creamy coffee drinks I am used to. Because it is not overpowered by sugar and cream, you can really taste the richness of the coffee and the herbs. While the chicken pie is nothing special, the Turkish delights were very good. I am sure they were handmade. The artisanal treats are so much better than the cheap commercial turkish delights you find in gift boxes. We will be looking to try other Yemeni coffee drinks.

Nice study/work cafe open 7 days a week serving premium Yemeni coffee & teas. As it gets colder, I've grown to truly savor the spices seasoning my coffee, enjoying how the flavor subtly changes as you drink it. In the intimate lighting at nighttime, it's surprisingly large inside considering how deep the tables go into the cafe. Gets crowded with the tech morning & evening rush hours making seating scarce. service is friendly & efficient, just ask! Will return to try the food next time.

My palestinian boyfriend & I were visiting SF for the weekend and this is the only place we went to twice. The ambiance inside the cafe was so cozy, it was lovely to enjoy coffee and pastry together both the mornings we were there.* Arabic light roast - light roast coffee with some cardamom and zaffron: 8/10* Jubani - medium light roast coffee and coffee hucks served with ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon: 10/10* turkish coffee: 10/10, dark and smooth and authentic turkish coffee* feta pastry: 8/10* baklava: 8/10* pistachio milk cake: 15/10* turkish delight: 7/10 (To be fair, I do not like turkish delight and this is the only one I have EVER liked)
