Salty Sweet Cookies

Salty Sweet cookies are the BEST cookies ever. I discovered them years ago at local SF holiday markets and then started ordering on Good Eggs, and now their assorted cookie platter is my go-to group dessert for parties and work events (they offer vegan and gluten-free cookies as well). To save on delivery, I often arrange picking up from their commercial kitchen in Bernal Heights. I also often send cookies as care packages and birthday gifts as they deliver anywhere in the U.S. When I emailed them to ask about custom orders, the owner Melissa was so responsive and helpful. Our school PTA ordered individually wrapped cookies to distribute to our teachers for Teacher Appreciation Day - all we had to do was email her a JPG of our school logo and she printed custom stickers for the bags. While all the flavors are spectacular, my favorites are the caramel crunch, sprinkles, and the classic chocolate chip. The limited edition s'mores bar, a cross between a s'more and rice crispy treat and made w/Golden Graham cereal, is also amazing.

Oh my goodness are these good cookies! I was lucky enough to get the Caramel Crunch and it was decadent. Definitely crunchy, but also chewy; just delightful! The fact that you can ship this joy to people from a local brick and mortar San Francisco establishment is cool too, because these aren't just cookies you can get at a grocery store. You can tell that they were made with love by someone who cares about their community.

I came across Salty Sweet Cookies when I was searching for a 'quick' dessert option for our company event. I reached out via the website and I received a call from Melissa within the next 2 hours. She was extremely pleasant on the phone and gave me many options as to what we could do. Melissa was also generous enough to send samples of the cookies and of the packaging, since we opted to do individually wrapped cookies with stickers of our company name. Melissa was also extremely accommodating when I needed to change my order a couple days later. The entire encounter, from inquiry to delivery, was extremely efficient. She communicated well and was very thorough in letting me know the timeframe of when the cookies would be delivered. The cookies were a HUGE hit with our attendees! So many went back for seconds and thirds as well. I'd highly recommend ordering from Salty Sweet Cookies for your next event!

I went online to look up gourmet cookies for delivery and I came across Salty Sweet, which is based in San Francisco. I ordered a package of 9 cookies (about $30 total with tax/delivery), and chose Caramel crunch, Gluten free caramel crunch, and Spicy cinnamon as my cookie flavors. The Caramel crunch cookies were good in general. They were sweet and salty, which I love. Unfortunately, the cookies weren't impressive enough that I would feel the need to special order them again. Honestly, they tasted like a cookie I could search out at local choice grocery stores like Sprouts or Whole Foods. So the cookies were good but not so special that they re-imagined the wheel. The gluten free caramel crunch cookies were probably the best out of the three in my opinion, because the salted and caramel toffee flavors were more pronounced in the gluten free cookies. Lastly, the spicy cinnamon cookies were ok. They were basically snickerdoodles with extra cinnamon that added some kick to it, almost like the spicy kick you expect in ginger snap cookies.So like I said, the cookies were good but not so great that I'd want to special order from this company again.

I can recommend ordering cookies from here. I ordered on a Wednesday and got them by Friday afternoon. My husband also loved them. Great treat! Very delicious

Got these cookies shipped to me as a gift.First of all, hardly any chocolate at all in the chocolate chip. Also cookies were not crispy or particularly soft, not sweet enough and all and tasted more like a ritz cracker than anything else. Buy some tollhouse cookie dough and you'll be a lot happier.

Friends company bought and give out a bunch of their cookies. Wow each is beautiful, delicious and well made. The softness is just right and each cookie is premium. Loved it. I personally don't usually go for cookies but thought this is one of the best cookies

I received my cookies! The one I tried irst was the coconut caramel. While the cookie was supremely fresh I only tasted the caramel and a hint of salt...I enjoyed the cookie but thought it would be more coconutty. It was a great fresh buttery cookie none the less. The cinnamon is outrageous! Power packed with cinnamon and had a soft center..delicious!! .They come three to a cellophane package. The oatmeal raisin cookie is simply one of the best oatmeal cookies I have ever eaten. All three cookies are fantastic! I would order again or send to a friend as a gift!Thanks Salty Sweet for making the coronavirus a little more tolerable!

Great Client service and the cookies are oh-so-more-than-satisfying! The boxes are a Definite recommend for corporate gifting as they come individually wrapped to share in the office. Shipping was worry-free and the quick response time by Melissa was super appreciated.I ordered a simple Celebration Gift box of -3 Chocoloate Chip Mighties-3 Caramel Crunch Mighties-2 Oatmeal Raisin Mighties (My CEO loves oatmeal raisin cookies and he really liked these a lot) -2 Dark Chocolate Mighties which also came with a custom card and after shipping was less than 40 bucks! SUPER WORTH IT! I absolutely adore their chocolate chip and caramel crunch cookies. Great with or without a cup-a-joe or glass of milk. I intended to save the caramel crunch for the husband but I still had a half-a-cup of hot coffee left. :) I will definitely order from them again!

I last minute decided to order cookies for my entire team, and I was so glad to have stumbled upon Salty Sweet Cookies! Melissa, the CEO, was quick to respond to my questions and was incredibly helpful. She even shipped the cookies using USPS 1 Day Priority shipping to get the cookies to my staff on time (we live in 7 different Bay Area cities). I ordered multiple 3-packs of the Chocolate Chip Cookies (Mighty-sized) and they were a huge hit: chewy, buttery, and with a dash of sea salt. I also have to say something about the intent and thoughtfulness behind the packaging. Each cookie pack is wrapped up in a compostable bag and tied together with a cute candy cane colored ribbon. And, you can choose to include a message on your cookies for the recipient! I'll definitely be ordering more cookies from Salty Sweet in the future!
