Company Christmas party was held here. It started in this posh eatery, all brick and wood, with a seafood buffet as starters, oyster, shrimp and crab. Hand passed appetizers like carot tartare, deviled eggs with caviar, Kobe sliders and others were decadent treats before the carving board and risotto opened up. Not just risotto, Black Truffle risotto, which was delectable, rich and dreamy. The conversations flowed around me as i was able to talk to the staff and even take pictures. This kitchen is amazing! The drying herb rack made me jealous. When it came time for dessert, they went beyond! There was a little homemade snickers bar, a caramel creme puff and the tastiest soft serve smothered in caramel. The service was white table attentive without being annoying. Wine flower like water, and every person there was so very nice and answered any question one minght have.If this is their party fare, id love to experience their normal seating.

----- review after visiting another Michelin two star restaurant -----Give Saison half star up to 4.5. Love some of the surprising taste and how the different tastes are mixed in one dish (very delicately merged). 0.5 point off for the room for full menu and the small portion.----- review right after -------Very flavorful dining experience. I can tell from the dishes and bites that the chef put thoughts on them. Ordered the abridged menu. Beautiful and upscale environment with elegant tea cups. Clean kitchen. Service was great and considerate (let me choose my meat cutting knife) given the fixed charge anyway. But just a couple minor things when I went as a solo diner. The food portion was a bit small (even I am a lady). Some pictures of sides don't match on google map reviews don't match with mine (truffle croissant was served with layer dish not with the starters, missing some truffle custard/steamed egg bowl, missing white sugarish bite - only two half pieces of cannolis - duo diners got the white piece). I know these are minor points that's why I mentioned earlier that overall experience was nice. Better to standardize every delivery to the customer so won't leave the impression that a restaurant may trick here or there. Overall the tastes are great! I will return.

From the moment we arrived, the service stood out--warm, attentive, and thoughtful. The staff walked us through the menu and wine pairings in a way that felt genuine and personalized. The food was great. The caviar with creamy crab was rich and indulgent, and all the meat dishes were perfectly cooked--light, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Every dish felt crafted with care and attention to detail. Dessert was a fun and interactive surprise--they brought out everything for us to make our own s'mores over a live fire, which made the experience feel extra special. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, with an open kitchen where you can see the chefs in action. It felt intimate and welcoming, like they genuinely want you to enjoy every moment.Next time, I want to try the bar experience--it looks like a more condensed menu that pairs drinks with bites.

To this day, my 2015 dinner at Saison Restaurant was still the most I've ever spent on a meal. It was an incredible experience, but the cost had deterred me from revisiting. Fast forward to last month, and I was pinching myself, because I got a sneak peek of their new $58 bar prix fixe experience. Yes, you are reading that right, $58 to dine at a two-Michelin star restaurant. This does not include drinks, and I would call this more of a snack rather than a full meal. But you receive the same starting canapés that they serve in their full tasting menu, along with a brioche bread miso course, tea, and dessert. There's also the option to add supplements including their iconic sea urchin grilled sourdough toast. The uni toast alone is about the cost of the snack menu, and with other supplements and drinks your tab can easily add up, but the flexibility of having a lower starting point is incredible. The bar experience is only available Tuesday-Thursday, and word has gotten out, so reservations are quite sparse, but looks like they do release rolling daily reservations three months out.If you go in with the expectation of snacking, you will have a great experience. The kitchen led by chef Richard Lee put out phenomenal small bites. My friend and I also had a great time sitting at the bar and chatting with Peter and team. Wonderful service all around.

Came with a few friends for an early weekday dinner and this place did not disappoint! The space looks so high end but not stuffy, so we felt comfortable dining with large group casually. Their presentation is great too especially the first starter course with all the appetizers. There were some great first bites with oyster, tomato, tuna and duck liver. It was so creative and really showcased the quality of the produce. This was followed by brioche, caviar, cod, cucumber dish, guinea hen, antelope, melon and dates. And some delicious last bites for dessert. Everything was really good and beautifully presented. It was a good amount of food where you do get full, without being overly stuffed

My husband took me to Saison for my birthday this year and it did not disappoint! When you make reservations online, Saison will call to confirm your reservation, food restrictions etc beforehand which is always a plus in case you have any food restrictions and they can prepare alternative dishes! This time around I was pregnant so I couldn't eat certain things and they replaced it with something else which was still awesome! I love that they also have an open kitchen so you can see what is going on. We actually sat by the bar so we didn't see very much but it was still nice to see from afar. Overall service was excellent and the food was delicious! It's not an everyday meal that you can go to but definitely worth it to celebrate your birthday, anniversaries etc with your love ones! Thanks Saison for a wonderful meal!

Celebrated my 2 year anniversary at Saison! How lucky am I to get the chance to celebrate my love with another love... food that is. Known for their beautiful open wood fire, Saison is a 2 star michelin restaurant that is truly well deserved. The play on Asian flavor profiles and the dark, cabin like interior make dining here a once in a lifetime experience that you cannot find elsewhere. We opted for the Tasting Menu by the Kitchen for the two of us and an INCREDIBLE PRO TIP THAT YOU CANNOT MISS OUT ON: Add the uni toast. It is not apart of the pre fixe menu but it truly is what Saison is known for and will probably be the star of the show. A 2 biter that will leave you needing more. The other noteable dishes during my meal were the Rabbit and the Antelope. First timer with trying Antelope and it was amazing! Saison checks all the boxes when it comes to creativity. A comprehensive meal from start to finish, including the drinks, palette refreshers, and desserts. Not a single bad dish (as expected). Truly an experience. You don't know what you are eating as you don't get the menu until the end of the meal, but don't fret because they explain each meal thoroughly. The food portions at first seemed small, or maybe I just felt like I needed more of everything. Towards the end of the meal I found myself getting way too full. (Don't worry, I kept eating until the end of it!) Saison is located just near Oracle Park, so if you're coming on a game day I would allocate extra time to search for parking. Service is of course, impeccable. Interior is truly breathtaking. From the bar to the comfy pillows at the bench seats to the glossy wooden tables.... to the open kitchen where you can hear all the cooks say "Yes Chef!" - Saison is beautiful!

Great wine selection and service. Though pricey, there are some excellent happy hour offerings which start early in the afternoon. One fun happy hour feature is that you can get a tiny taste of Dom Perignon for like $35. Really good snacks too. A fun and classy place to come with friends, but be sure to make a reservation because it gets crowded!

Well Saison sets the bar for service for sure. The staff was incredibly attentive, kind and knowledgeable.I especially enjoyed the wine pairing with my food, the sommelier did a fantastic job and taught me some things about wine. The restaurant itself was beautiful and laid out well, the lighting and ambience was perfect and seating was incredibly comfortable. So much so that after a long day of walking I was trying not to fall asleep. Now to the food, there were some standout courses but overall it was just okay and I've had much better at the price point. The tea to start out was the best I've had in my life, the oyster course was phenomenal. Followed by the caviar and crab both of which missed the mark. The white asparagus with the caviar just had a weird consistency with not a great flavor combination. The trout, rabbit and antelope courses were also just fine, nothing really to write about. The Wagyu addon was possibly the best piece of steak i have had in my life. The desserts definitely missed the mark and the stroopwafel was way off.Overall it was a great experience and I enjoyed myself but it felt like the courses could have complemented each other more

Had an incredible experience once again at Saison, a two Michelin star restaurant led by Chef Richard Lee. This evening was truly special as Chef offered a sneak peek into his research and development dishes showcasing the best of spring and summer produce. We started off with a delightful Champagne greet, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. The courses were a feast for the senses, featuring an exquisite dungeness crab prepared in three different ways. The heart of palm salad, crab cigar, and the rich broth from the shells elevated the dish to another level. The crab dish was an absolute hit, bursting with creative, fresh, and vibrant flavors. The dry-aged lasson trout stole the show with its tender interior and perfectly crispy skin. Another noteworthy dish was the spot prawns, which showcased Chef's innovative approach to culinary experimentation.
