Spent the day acting as a tour guide for family visiting the city. This was by far their favorite coffee spot! They spent almost two weeks here and raved about the quality and smoothness of Saint Frank coffee until the day they left. It was a beautiful day so we all sat outside to enjoy the weather and our little pick-me-up's. Came in with five people and the barista took some extra time explaining the drinks and what he would recommend to us. * just FYI- their Menlo Park location is just as good*

Great neighborhood coffee spot. Service is always quick and pleasant. More like $$. Clean, minimalist space has tables to sit & work but no outlets. The outdoor tables are a good place to people watch on Polk.If you buy a bag of beans, you can get free drip or iced coffee!Gets busy in peak morning hours both on weekdays & weekends, but the line moves decently quickly.

Busy coffee shop in Polk Gulch, yes. Waiting line to get in...and when you're hankering for your first cuppa, I'm not looking to wait in line.Still, the line goes VERY quickly - interesting. Once up to the register, staff is kind, warm, friendly, and quickly explains every drink my wife asks about. We order our coffees and pastries. And then, unusually for most coffee joints, two baristas tag team right in front of you to create your drinks while you're paying...so as soon as you're paid you're walking away with your coffee (!)Why don't more joints do this? No wonder the line goes so quickly. I'm a fan.The coffee is strong and dark. I can pick up the nuances of the varietal I chose, and pastries are above average (not sure if they're made on site or vendor-provided). Setting is well-lit and modern / spartan - if you're looking for the old '90s couches and smooth jazz vibe, you're in the wrong spot. Only small niggle is please replace the three-legged stools with the four-legged variety you also provide. Frank Herbert famously commented in Dune that the three-legged alliance is the most unstable of all political structures - and the same is true for bar stools. That aside, don't be put off if there's a line when you arrive - it moves quickly. And the coffee is worth it.We'll be back.

Been wanting to try Saint Frank for a bit - happy I finally made it over! There's always a bit of a line here but I can definitely see why with all the inside and outside seating, outlets, and bathrooms. Definitely a great atmosphere for getting work done or enjoying a coffee with some friends! The guy who made our drinks seemed very friendly and he was making small talk with the person in front of us that seemed to be a regular there! My chai was pretty good - didn't taste solely like milk which has been an issue at other places in the city. The matcha was definitely more milky than matcha tasting though which got it a 3/10 ranking. The banana muffin was alright - I think I would try the pumpkin one next time! The raspberry almond croissant was also a solid 6/10. I think the appeal of this spot is their coffee so we need to come back and try some after coffee free January!

Saint Frank has that signature minimalist look that I've seen in a lot of cafes these days. There was some seating, but it was pretty full when I arrived, so there's no guarantee of a spot.I ordered a cappuccino and found the service to be really quick, taking only a few minutes for it to come out. I really liked the latte art on top, and my drink was clearly made with care. The taste was good, but not phenomenal. I can't say I noticed a huge difference from other cappuccinos I've had, but the coffee was smooth. Even though I was only there for about 15 minutes, people started crowding in so I quickly left. Overall, Saint Frank is a decent place. The coffee was good, and the service was quick. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but I'm glad I checked it out.

Looking for a place to work remote in San Francisco, I stumbled upon Saint Frank's. The coffee shop offers a ton of natural light, a fair amount of seating, and free WiFi. The biggest bonus is that they have a public restroom. The playlist vibes aren't too shabby either!I selected a pour over, which is made to order and is served on a platter with an informational card about the coffee's origin. The coffee was delectable. I also enjoyed a pain au chocolate and while it was yummy, beware that it is very flakey and can make a mess. The baristas here are top tier and I watched them interact with the regulars which is always nice to see. Make sure to stop by this place!

A few friends and I went to Saint Franks on a Monday holiday and had an overall pleasant experience! The ambiance allowed folks to work, or sit and chat with a friend. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The baristas were incredibly efficient and kind. The chocolate croissant was a must!

I'm always on the hunt for new coffee shops in the city and I stumbled upon saint frank. Inside it's so cute and aesthetic. My go to coffee drink is usually a vanilla latte but here they don't have vanilla so I opted for a sweet latte which was pretty yummy. I would def go again!

Saint Frank is definitely a coffee shop that has character. There was always a line when I came but it moved quickly. Usually a lot of people inside, kinda takes time to get a good table if you wait around. High energy in this place. Great coffee!
