"Round the Clock" ----- yay!! A 24 hour corner store!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!? NOT. Why name a store "round the clock" if you're only going to be open for half the day? "Halfway around the Clock" is more like it! Why this place even gets the additional star to make 2 stars: they sell pretty decent flowers upfront. I love flowers, and can always put together a bouquet here in a moment's notice as it is down the street from me. Well, that and people get the idea of getting ME flowers when they walk to my house, thanks to this store, hahahaha. Why this place loses 3 stars - - - -1 star: it's disheveled, unorganized and feels dirty in here.-1 star: service is mediocre-1 star: they have nothing, and I mean ABSOLUTELY nothing, on the store just one block up from them, Mayflower Market.http://www.yelp.com/user_details_review_search?userid=_pIG1_s6Bzymn1zeyLjBHQ&q=mayflower Ding, ding, and ding. You have lots of competition in the neighborhood, people.Step up already, or switch gears to become a neighborhood flower shop!

Sorry, but this place its gross. I've bought rotten milk, eggs, and sour cream!!! everything is expired and by 1 or 2 weeks. Shame on me for not looking at the expiration date, but really?? 2 weeks after the "sell by date", that is dangerous.I've complained about this issue, but they don't really care. And, while their produce is always cheaper than Cala , it was always rotten. The inside is unorganized and filthy. Their stock is inconsistent, one time you buy something and you will never see that item again. Or you can see an item that is soo old and dusty that you might find a spider web on it.So, I decided to take advantages of the good pricing by only buying non-perishables, like batteries or magazines, at this place.

Produce: 5 stars.Good selection of fresh produce here for CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. They are NOT open 'round the clock, but they are open till around almost midnight--much better than K&S produce down the street.Otherwise, the store is quite disheveled. Stick to the fruit and you'll be good.

You know, I usually go here every once in a while for odds and ends if I'm so inclined, living down the street and all.. However, I won't go back after what happened last night.. I got a few things, of which 2 boxes of pasta noodles were in my bag, I get home, boil the water, open one box and dump it into the pot, and TO MY HORROR, the pan is filled with GRANARY WEEVILS. DISGUSTING. Uh, so yeah, I'll be going there when they open to I guess get my $ 3.38 back, and tell them they may want to clean their store a bit. Does one report this sort of thing to the health department, or just let it rest ? Anyway, here's an article detailing how difficult they are to get rid of.. If it reads as it does, the entire store is probably infested.article detailing removal of rice/granary weevils:http://www.bugspray.com/article/riceweevil.htmlpictures here:http://www.kendall-bioresearch.co.uk/beetle6.htmeeeeech!

I always keep an eye on the produce at Round the Clock so that I don't buy anything from Cala that I might buy here. RtC's prices are almost always better. Cala is currently charging $0.69 for a single lemon while they're 4/$1 at RtC. You can also pick up some pretty flowers for as little as $2.99. I just love everyone there, the owners Albert and Lynn (sp?), their kids Felicia and Nathan, and the night crew Man and Vitaliy (ladies, if you're interested in a nice, smart dude in a scary skull shirt, stop in here and chat him up).Other than the produce and flowers, this is just your run of the mill corner store. I'll sometimes buy pricier milk here so I don't have to haul it home from Cala.

I was racially profiled here and was followed around the store by an employee. I look like a Black man, long locs, wearing a button up shirt and jeans.

This family run business is the best!!! They are so kind and accommodating. If they don't have it, they'll get it for you. Really everything you want in a corner store convenience market. Never snoody, very reasonable prices and a wide selection. Love them.

I have been patronizing this place for months ever since moving to the city. Have spent hundreds of dollars here; it was my go to market around the corner. Today they lost my business. I had gone in to buy a couple 2 liters and was accused of giving a fake $20 bill. I had just gone to Wells Fargo and withdrew $200. She told me she couldn't accept it because 'wrong color.' There was a small stain on one of the corners of the bill. She was rude and short with me. Didn't even pull out a counterfeit detection pen to check; just told me she wouldn't accept it. There are many other places within a 2 block radius that I will be going to from now on. I highly suggest not going here unless you want to be treated like a scammer.

I'm in the neighborhood so it's convenient, however the prices are pretty high even for a small store like theirs. Wish they still carried my favorite ice cream flavor., and fresh tomatoes would be so nice.
