Rosemary and Pine has a new location, and some new menu variety. In the past when I went I got the brioche french toast and and the avocado toast both of which were solid. The brioche french toast was a definite standout with a crispy exterior and moist airy inside coated in berry jam compote. That being said, the second dish which was the avocado toast was quite awful and tasted bitter and overly acidic. The bread was also a tad stale and hard to chew. All in all if you live at One Henry Adams or are in the Mission bay neighborhood Rosemary and Pine is worth a visit but I would definitely recommend their sweeter brunch offerings!

First of all, I would have never known this place was here based on its location, but I'm so happy to have stumbled across it! The food is divine. As the server mentioned, even the simplest dishes are carefully crafted, and wow--every bite leaves you wishing you had room to try more. We had the egg scramble and the French toast, and as simple as that sounds, it was probably the best I've had in a long time. It was perfect!Looking around the room, the mac and cheese looked amazing, and the burger looked just as tempting. If I didn't already have plans for the rest of the day, I would have considered coming back for lunch. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on this menu. Five 's for both the service and the food!A little birdie told us dinner options might be coming soon, so I'll definitely keep an eye out for that!

Had a nice time eating brunch here at Rosemary & Pine. It's a small menu, which I like because it's less decision making for me and allows better quality control. I got the breakfast sando with avocado and a cinnamon swirl pastry. The cinnamon swirl pastry came out first, with butter and jam, and it was yummy. I didn't need the butter since it was a croissant, but the jam added a nice fruity flavor with the cinnamon. I ate a bit of it, and wanted to save the rest as dessert after my entree. The breakfast sando was tall! I needed a knife to cut it in half, and I should've just deconstructed it into smaller bites. But I'm no lady when I eat so I just went for it. It was very messy to eat, but it was delicious, especially with some hot sauce. The egg was super fluffy and the English muffin, which was house made, had nicely-crisp edges. The sandwich was pricey. It was $16, and an extra $3 for avocado. The quality of ingredients was high, but I'm not sure if I'd venture out to the Design District for this sandwich. Maybe if it came with a side, I might be willing. However, their Korean-inspired fried chicken sandwich looks good so I would like to come back and try that. Service was exceptional! The wait staff came by frequently to check on us and fill our waters. It's also nicely decorated inside with lots of natural lighting. And they also have outdoor seating. They're currently open for brunch only.. they close at 2pm each day. I would like to come back to try their lunch options.

Service was amazing to start, the staffs were so welcoming and attentive throughout our meal! Ambience was great and after talking with the staffs, they let us know they just reopened from their renovation a month ago in May! Prices were super affordable and food was so yummy! Came for Sunday brunch around 12:30pm and it was packed. We didn't have a reservation but they were so accommodating and were able to seat us right away! Love the open kitchen concept! I love being able to watch the chefs prepare and cook the food. Food came quickly after ordering and presentation was great. Mortadella Sando: 5/5Curly Fries (r&p style): 5/5Definitely recommend for others to try and I can't wait to be back to try their other items!

Had a pretty mediocre brunch experience. Overall, it's an OK neighborhood spot to grab a quick bite but I wouldn't recommend venturing out for it. First, Rosemary and Pine is very loud inside. Our waiter had a hard time hearing us and we could barely hear our waiter. Service was friendly but the noise level with all the hard surfaces was very difficult to manage. Second, didn't love the food. Fried chicken sandwich was OK. The chicken tasted good but the coating wasn't crispy and immediately separated from the chicken. I was also hoping the flavors would pack more of a punch with the gochujang aioli and furikake ranch coleslaw. The fries were decent, although again not crispy. Definitely recommend R&P style (cheese, fried onion, furikake ranch). Dark chocolate pudding was fine but not memorable.

Incredible. Hands down the best French toast I've ever had, and I don't even like French toast that much. The chicken sando was excellent and the grilled cheese was as advertised - dense cheese contrasted with fluffy bread, and a perfect cheese pull. Eggs Benedict was solid but nothing spectacular. Fries R&P style were delicious but unfortunately everything else was so delicious we let the cheese get a little too cold. Great service and drinks as well, and not too crowded with reservations for a Sunday brunch.

Why do I keep hearing Simon & Garfunkel? "Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Parsley, sage, rosemary, and pine." Wait a minute, it's thyme. Yeah, thyme for me to get to the review (rimshot, please). I haven't been to this particular space since it was a popular Asian fusion spot a few years back called Skool. Jamie W. and I came here because it was walking distance from the Chase Center. We were on our way to see Queen, so we thought this might be a good time to try it. I have to admit the menu was not all that exciting...pasta, the expected meat entrees, pretty standard appetizers. They were even selling bread and butter for $12. In a sea of indecision, we decided to start with a couple of $12 Happy Hour cocktails - the martini-lite Rhubarb Vesper with gin, vodka, vermouth, and rhubarb, and...The backslapping Smash & Grab with whiskey, blackberry, sage, sloe gin, and seltzer (photo: https://yelp.to/5ii5VqlrSO). Both provided a certain cocktail-hour kick that was quite welcome. As an opener, we shared the $12 Deviled Hen Eggs which included crispy chicken skin, old bay, and chives (photo: https://yelp.to/cPlqmWjKiF). They were good as expected with the skin barely evident. For his entree, Jamie chose the $26 Vandouvan Campanelle. That was definitely the better of the pasta plates with Liberty duck sugo, hen-of-the-woods mushrooms, and gouda (photo: https://yelp.to/XdGUS1zwMp). Mine was on the bland side, the $24 Honey Squash Cappelletti with pickled rose apple, pumpkin seeds, and mustard greens (photo: https://yelp.to/CdSDSgefY6). It just didn't ring my bell. We did enjoy our dessert though, the $13 Caramelized White Chocolate Bread Pudding. It was an island of sweet delight surrounded by a compote of blackberries and blueberries (photo: https://yelp.to/EZeJY88BFH). The restaurant was fairly crowded, but the vibe was relatively mellow considering the decor didn't have that much personality compared to Skool. The patio is still here and well used. I just wished there was more oomph to the entrees to make the dining experience more memorable.FOOD - 3 stars...bland pastas hampered the dining experience hereAMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...decent enough but in need of more personalitySERVICE - 3 stars...kinda on automatic pilotTOTAL -3 stars...parsley, sage, rosemary and...RELATED - Exploring Mission Bay? Came here for dinner and I would first like to say that I have never been treated so kindly by the service staff and fellow diners. All I can say was that everyone at dinner that night saw me sit there waiting for 2.5 hours for my friend to arrive and made sure that I didn't feel awkward sitting there by myself during those hours. Ordered a mocktail, roasted chicken, and baby carrots (side). The food and drink were so good. The menu isn't too extensive as this is a neighborhood restaurant but everything was cooked well. What isn't shown was the dessert I got because I inhaled it before I could take a picture of it. This place is really spacious and gorgeous. Will definitely be willing to try their brunch and/or come back for dinner.

Great brunch spot! Space is nice, and reservations are easy to come make. I've been here a couple of times for brunch and I can say I had a good experience both times. The first time it was super busy and nosy, but the second time it wasn't too nosy. The service was great both timesI've tried the Caramelized brioche french toast, Vadouvan campanelle, Smoked salmon pizza, buttermilk biscuit, and duck sausage gravy! My favorite is the Vadouvan campanelle and the Brioche french toast! the campanelle with duck was savory and flavorful! I love how the mushrooms were roasted and mixed well with the duck! The pasta was cooked al dente! The brioche french toast is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! You don't need to use the syrup on the side because it's sweet enough! It's definitely a good dish to share with your table!Overall, solid brunch spot! I love the unique spin of brunch food!

Came in for early dinner before my flight back to NYCLike a little local small restaurant at design district. Very cute area. Like the feel of being Mystery little place, in the middle of nowhere.Limited items on the menu, foods were not wow! But not bad.Not extremely nice presentation but they looked decent Didn't try their drinks yet.But this will be a cute place for a date and brunch spot! Pretty unique compare to many restaurants in the city! Love the vibe here. It's giving dinning in a secret garden.
