I love coming here for a sushi fix. It's not the typical conveyor belt in that things are circulating around and you pick up a dish. But you do order on an iPad and food comes out on a "rocket". Still a fun experience.Service is always fantastic! Everything comes out really quickly and the waiters are fast to see you and provide you refills of water or whatever you need. Everyone is friendly. My go to here is the Hamachi carpaccio. Classic and good. Pieces are also very large and fresh. The other go to is the black angel roll. This one is really good! Today we also tried the sashimi regular size. do you see how big the sashimi pieces are? All of this was only $38! If you need a good sushi fix for a good price, this is it. My only dislike is that the fish quality in the sashimi was not the best today. Could be an off day. I have ordered the Hamachi Toro a lot in that one is really good with great fresh quality.also tried the vegetable udon today. Not my favorite. The tofu tasted a little bit strange, not that it went bad. But there is just a different flavor. I also found it strange that there were a salad in the udon as opposed to actual cooked vegetables.Tried the chef roll today. It's Wagyu on top of salmon and avocado. Tasted pretty good, but I do find raw salmon and Wagyu together a little bit odd. I didn't order it today, but I do highly recommend the Hamachi collarbone. It's cooked well here they give you a really large size. Their shrimp tempura is also really good. They know how to cook it really well and perfectly crisp. Otherwise, the place is always clean. There's lots of booths and lots of seating. No complaints.Great sushi go to place. Affordable given such large sizes.

The highlight of this unique sushi spot is definitely the rocket conveyor belt that delivers your sushi right to your table. One of the standout features was the interactive ordering system. You can place your order on a tablet, and within minutes, your sushi zooms over on the rocket conveyor belt. It's a fun and efficient way to enjoy your meal.Food is great and it's a fun time!

A fun spot! We came for dinner on a Friday night and while it was busy, we were still able to get a table immediately. The layout is very unique, as the food is served to you on a rocket tray so you have to be sitting next to the belt. It's almost like conveyer belt sushi but with just one line.We got the sweet potato roll, yellowtail scallion roll, xxx roll, and the lion king roll. They were all really good! I especially liked the sweet potato and yellowtail rolls, as the rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned while the ingredients were so fresh and well seasoned.Prices are also super reasonable, and portions are generous! I'd definitely recommend checking this spot out.

Service here was very friendly and very quick! This was my first time and the rockets that zip to and from each table with tasty sushi on top are amazing! We ordered Miso soup, Seaweed salad, Chicken karaage, Romeo and Juliet Roll, Hamachi roll, and a Rock and Roll roll. Everything was so fresh and delicious, and we caught the buy $50 and get a sake for $1 deal, talk about a win!

HOLE IN WALL! Came in a group of 10 and we were immediately seated - the location was deceptively large. The service was super fast and the mechanism of food delivery was quite fun (dish came out on a rocket counter) The sushi was great as well the two highlights were family affair (seared albacore) and chef roll (wagyu beef). Would recommend trying those two!!

This is a place with minimal human interaction where you order your food from a tablet, and the plates will zoom right to you like a train! Most of the menu consisted of maki, so I didn't have much expectations for an authentic Japanese experience. However, the pleasant surprise was how huge all the food portions were I ordered 3 different types of rolls and regretted not just ordering 2 because of how big the rolls were! The disappointing parts were the big globs of mayo on top of Romeo and Juliet that completely masks the flavor of the scallop, and how the sushi combo had the exact same cuts of fish for the nigiri and sashimi pieces. Overall, this is a solid spot if you're craving sushi on a budget but you wanna come out feeling stuffed

I was in the mood for sushi and this was near the cafe that I was at, so I thought it would be a good idea to come here before I return home. The service was very friendly and welcoming, letting me know the rocket system worked when they realized it was my first time. There was a relatively calm yet crowded ambiance, with most of the tables being occupied except for the one that was conveniently closest to the door. I think there's also outdoor seating, but the rocket doesn't go all the way there so I assume the system for outdoor seating either works the same as a regular restaurant or it's just public seating.I decided to get the Cherry Blossom sushi, which was a bit of a wait. I don't recall how long but every now and then I could hear the sounds of the rocket belt and this likely didn't help with the wait. The sushi itself was pretty good, and I left feeling fulfilled. Overall a pleasant experience, I wouldn't mind returning if someone was interested in getting sushi in SF.

I normally enjoy the food here but I had a bad experience today. I was enjoying my order, listening to music on headphones and reading the Sunday paper when the waitress very abruptly got my attention and said "You have to leave- we close at 3" she said it with enough authority that I felt like I was being kicked out. I gathered my things and was standing ready to get out when she brought me the check. I quickly signed it so I could leave and she pointed to the tip line insisting that I leave a tip. I left a small one under duress. Bad customer service experience.

Fish Quality: 4 out of 5Service : 3 out of 5 Ambience: 4.5 out of 5Rolls: 3 out of 5Rainbow Roll: Shouldn't come with Eel Sauce, which drowns out the flavor. It isn't advertised with eel sauce, 4 out of 8 pieces had a tolerable drizzle, the other rolls were rather thick beyond normal bite size, so slightly much, for texture purposes, although quality is present :)

Solid rolls at a convenient location in central SF. I tried a few rolls and sashimi here, which were all pretty fresh and tasty. Ordering on the tablet was convenient, and our food came out on a rocket. There are a lot of large booths at this location, so it would be well-suited for a group meal. We came on a weekend, and it was not crowded for lunch. I would come again to satisfy the sushi craving! I'm not really sure how I feel about the "order on a tablet and have your food delivered to you by a rocket/robot" model though. As a result, you don't really have a chance to interact with waiters, and the novelty does wear off.
