Robu Coffee

I'm a little behind on posting this review, this post is for my visit from early Jan 2025. I'm happy to support an Asian women owned business! I came across Robu Coffee through Yelp because my boyfriend and I were looking for a matcha cafe. Even though Robu Coffee obviously specializes in coffee, we were happy to see their menu had matcha drinks available! I was intrigued with the Vienna Einspanner Matcha Latte and my boyfriend ordered the Yuzu Matcha Fizz. The Vienna Einspanner Matcha Latte was unlike any other matcha latte I've tried, the house-made Vienna Einspanner cream made the matcha taste creamy without being too sweet and the dust of matcha powder on top was a nice touch! The matcha powder was of premium quality, a true ceremonial grade matcha which gives the vibrancy and earthiness of the matcha drink! I didn't hint any bitterness or matcha granules at all. The Yuzu Matcha Fizz was sweet and refreshing! It's similar to a Matcha lemonade but with a twist of Asian flavors from the Yuzu. You can find bits of Yuzu from the yuzu fruit puree, it added a nice texture to every sip. This drink was finished quickly! The service was friendly and our drinks were ready in 5-10 minutes! The cafe itself is small, with only a few tables. However, the side tables did have a few power strips to help charge your phone or laptop which is a plus! Robu also serves baked goods and sandos which we didn't get to try at this visit.We'll be back if we happen to be in the area again! :)

This place used to be located in downtown Sunnyvale but now moved to Mountain View, where parking is somewhat easier. I've been parking on the street, but I think they're adding the bus lane or something, but there is retail parking that I have yet to checkout.Drinks here are incredible. They are sweet, creamy, and addicting. Whether it's their phin or their house flavored cream, the amount of sweetness mixed with the coffee is excellent. My go to the past couple times have been the Vienna Einspanner Latte but the Cherry Blossom Latte or the Ube Latte are also good. Just recently, I've noticed they added some Asian-style sandwiches in the refrigerated section that appealed to my Mom so we might try them next time.Inside is pretty small, with about 10-15 seats and nowhere to move. Staff is super friendly.Overall, this place is being included into the daily rotation of coffee places because they've got a great, unique selection that's worth coming back to. Go check them out!

Robu coffee was at the Sunnyvale lantern festival. I saw the photos on social media and it looked amazing, so made a stop here. Ordered the egg salad sandwich , Vienna coffee einspanner latte, and my family got the black sesame latte and coconut Pandan latte. The egg salad sandwich came in a decent portion and was flavorful. I split half with my husband and we each got our own coffees and were full. I read on the reviews that the Vienna einspanner latte was lighter than the other ones so I got that one for me and was pretty satisfied with it. It wasn't too sweet but had a decent amount of caffeine. My family really enjoyed their lattes too. Overall a solid spot and would eat again

There was pretty limited parking up front when I had visited, but I saw a couple of reviews mention a parking structure/lot right before it. I tried the Vienna eispanner latte per the worker's recommendation as it is not as "heavy" as their other drinks. For me, this ended up not being my favorite sipping coffee, but once I had mixed in the cream with everything, it had a nice balance. The drink was slightly pricier than your average coffee drink but pretty on par with similar style drinks. Overall, really solid place if you're in the area!

The drinks are so aesthetically pleasing and well crafted. I love the design on the cups. I ordered a few drinks for my coworkers and I and I got the Cherry Blossom drink, tbh 6/10 for taste as I couldn't really taste the cherry blossom flavor even with the pink cream top. However it was really pretty though. I am definitely gonna come back to try other drinks.Some notes from my coworkers drinks: ~ the strawberry matcha latte was a little two sweet to taste she had to add more milk into it to lessen the sweetness, the matcha einspanner was too milky/cheesy but good, the viet coffee was 10/10 as well as the egg coffee.

New coffee shop in MV. Place is located on the main street, w/ parking available either in front (limited) or an underground parking structure just right before it. Go slow otherwise you might miss it.There's a few tables outside and a few inside. Aesthetic and ambiance is nice, pretty modern. I've tasted so many egg coffee, ube coffee, and pandan latte that I didn't really wanna try those here.Instead, I went for the cherry blossom latte and that was really good. The flavor was subtle so it's not too heavy when you take a sip. I really liked it and would get it again (minus the coco cream but that's my fault since I asked for it). There were a couple of other things on the menu that I would like to try so most definitely will be back to try something new!

Such a cute coffee shop with yummy drinks!!! I got the egg coffee which is something I've been looking for since my last visit to Vietnam and it did not disappoint. Such a creamy goodness. My bf got the dirty matcha and it was good. It's not just milk but it's more crafty and creative. Not bitter, very creamy with a hint of sweetness. The flavors mix together well. We also got the egg sando which was also amazing. Ordering was easy. Order at the counter and grab your sandwich from the fridge to the left. Total came to about $45 minus tip for 2 drinks and 2 sandos.

I've been here multiple times, and it never disappoints! One thing I love is how Tammy, the owner, always recognizes me when I stop by. She takes the time to ask how I've been or where I've been, which really shows how much she values her customers.This time, I ordered a few drinks: my go-to Coconut Ube Latte, a Strawberry Matcha, and one of their new seasonal drinks, the Coconut Pandan Latte. I'm usually not a fan of Vietnamese coffee since it's a bit too strong for me, but they were happy to adjust it to a regular latte with two shots of espresso. Both the Ube and Pandan flavors blend perfectly with the coffee, balancing out the espresso just right--I'd definitely order them again.The Strawberry Matcha? Always a solid 10/10! I love the little strawberry bits, and the flavors are perfectly balanced--neither the strawberry nor the matcha overpowers the other.What I really appreciate is how accommodating Tammy and the baristas are when it comes to customizing drinks. It's one of the reasons I keep coming back and will continue to support this women-owned small business!

was super excited to try Robu Coffee! they're a fusion craft coffee shop with drinks that are so unique! they're infusing both Asian-inspired flavors and traditional coffee!i always go for the strawberry matcha latte when i'm trying new spots. i opted to have oat milk as a milk substitute as well! it has strawberry puree and premium Uji matcha! i didn't make any adjustments to my drink (it's default at 50%) but i think i could've gone for 25%! you can really taste the combination of the strawberry and matcha - it's such a nice combination!

I first tried Robu when they had a pop-up in Sunnyvale and knew I had to come back now that they have a permanent location! I'm a huge fan of their Vienna Einspanner Latte--it's rich, creamy, and has just the right hint of sweetness to balance the coffee.I hadn't planned on getting a pastry, but after eyeing the Mango Coconut Danish, I couldn't resist. I'm so glad I gave in because it was absolutely delicious!Parking can be a bit tricky since it's on a busy street (El Camino Real), but it's 100% worth checking out. I'll definitely be back!
