Robin's Cafe

There's a certain je ne sais quoi about Robin's Cafe that has kept drawing me back for years now. Is it the beautiful sunlit ambiance? The impeccable food quality? Or the family-oriented excellent customer service? I'm not sure, but Robin's Cafe definitely has consistently excelled in these areas, all with a smile.I have tried all of their offerings - the juices, salads, sandwiches, cookies - legit everything, and it is all good. But the BLT sliders are ... mwah, chefs kiss. In terms of ambiance, Robin's is a beautiful place for people to work, study, have a coffee chat - girl tbh, even go on a date. There are windows everywhere, lots of seating, and the surrounding greenery is just so SF and so beautiful. Lastly, the service at Robin's Cafe is impeccable. They greet everyone with a smile, give suggestions when I'm being indecisive, and are just overall very nice genuine people.Overall, Robin's is a cafe that is a community gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Wednesday, 12:30:My second visit, back for their avocado toast, and it did not disappoint. Again I nixed the butter, because why?The avocado was perfectly ripe and creamy. The salt & pepper enhanced the flavor profile. Loved the almost hard-boiled egg on the side, yoke a tad melty in the center. Be still my heart, the avocado toast was actually toasted, enough that I could eat with my hand instead of struggling with a fork & glorified butter knife. Must be a San Francisco thing, every else on my travels the cafes own a toaster & actually use it. Last time I sat outside on a cafe table, pretty sweet. The indoor space is huge. It's big enough to handle some laptop squatters & still have a few open table for people who actually bought something to eat. Hello, it's a cafe. All well except for the completely oblivious woman having a conference call at high volume. Ever heard of headphones? Sigh. Yeah, I'm crabby. No matter, excellent meal, I'll definitely be back. Support Local!

Owners husband is Extremely rude , he got upset over my friend bringing her own coffee in to the establishment and all we were doing was ordering something to-go and we were going on our Mary way . never ever going back his face still haunts me he almost felt threatening . Super trash , only reason why it's still open is because people from the near by clinic only have that place to hit up also for what it's worth the food is super bland and not worth it .

I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk and some honey, and it tasted really watered down. I could barely taste any matcha or any oat milk. Maybe their hot drinks are better, but I'm confused about how this place has such highly rated reviews.

Awesome cafe! We came here recently to get some work done. Cafe has a ton of seating, fast WiFi, and is super spacious. Staff is also extremely friendly. We had some questions about their orange juice as it was way lighter than we typically expect, and instead of just answering, the lady cut open the orange they use and had us try! I got a cortado, and it was solid. Espresso was pulled well, and the milk was steamed just right. The orange juice we got was also super distinct; almost had a banana flavor to it, probably due to the different types of oranges they use right now.Really awesome place, definitely give them a go!

Robin's Cafe is an absolute gem cafe in the mission district. It is very spacious and the staff is very friendly. I always get either the Chipotle steak or Pork Belly sandwich. Both of these sandwiches are very tasty, meaty, crunchy, and i highly recommend! I'm not a big eater, but dare i say, I could eat two in one seating. It's close to Dolores park as well, so you can even stop by to grab a sandwich before heading to the park.

Wandered into this cute cafe for a matcha latte to go and ended up sitting down to enjoy the tastiest steak sandwich and a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie, too! The ambiance was Insta-worthy, the service was friendly and prompt. Cookies were just out of the oven and the sandwich was made to order with an amazing pepper sauce, fresh greens, melted mozzarella (or a choice of cheddar) and tender steak. I spoke to Enrique who said they bake everything fresh and the bread for the sandwiches is ordered from Panorama everyday. Love that it was chewy inside and crispy on the outside but not enough to give you roof rakers. A neighborhood gem.

There's a perfect mixture of sun and shade in this sit-in-if-you-want coffee shop with a chill ambience that is hard to come by in SF. Sinful choc chip cookies made with real butter, cold brew better than what I make at home, and great service. Will stop by again for their lunch offerings. Only caveat is that they are closer to the heart of Mission and 16th rather than Dolores Park as stated. But that's a plus if looking for a neighborhood option!

Here's an update. I was at Robins cafe again today. The same asian girl did not miss the opportunity to be offensive and extremely rude. I think she is just naturally rude?? she is the one who take order and always leave me bitter feeling. the reason why I am here is I always have a few minutes to kill before odc classes. The asian girl at the counter who takes order should just take order, don't say anything offensive to customers. If she can't be nice no conversation necessary. Everytime I am here she is getting more creative to offend customers.

Absolutely my favorite cafe in the city. Friendly staff, spacious room, great food and amazing coffee! I recommend the iced matcha latte and avocado toast but they also have so many other options to choose from such as the California slider and chicken salad sandwich. The fresh pressed juices are also hard to miss that offer many varieties to choose from.
