Always walking past this place. One evening I decided to take a bunch of friend here. All of them were impressed with the looks and flavor of all the food. Service was on point. Beer and bar drinks were served cold or well made. Chips and salsa were delicious. Will be coming back

Got their carne asada super nachos to share for 2 and they were sooo good! A large portion, and was enough for the both of us. They fry their own tortilla chips and are so generous with the carne, salsa, guac, sour cream, etc (as seen in the photo). Service was super friendly as well. 10/10 would recommend and definitely coming back to explore more of the menu!

Went there tonight and the food was lousy never going back again . It's not good Mexican food

We typically go to our favorite Taqueria's for Mexican food but tonight we wanted margaritas which most of them don't offer so we were on the hunt for a new Mexican restaurant. There are lots of wonderful Taqueria's and food trucks but it's a bummer how your only options for Mexican food with a bar are pretty much Celia's and Chevy's in this area (Daly City, San Bruno). There's a couple other random spots with lousy food but overall there's really not a whole lot of sit-down Mexican spots with a full bar. With wanting something authentic the above choices would not do. When we finally came upon this place I was hungry and well passed the point of searching and reading reviews. I said fu** it, let's do it. SO glad we did!! This will be our new spot for Mexican food and cocktails!They start by bringing 2 different salsas to the table, one spicy, one mild. Love it. When you order your food, they bring you a salad on a separate plate before your meal and they even offer you the dressing of your choice. I don't know about you folks, but every single time I have ever been to a Mexican restaurant this has never been offered to me. It's usually a pile of shredded iceberg lettuce on the side of your very hot plate with salsa on top which I find to be an unappealing afterthought more intended to fill the plate rather than something actually meant to be appetizing. Next, combination plates. Often times with combination plates you might have one thing that's really good and another thing that's not good, or just OK. It often feels like with combination plates plates it becomes more about quantity rather than quality. I was so happy when I saw my plate of food. It looked like whomever made it really put some actual love in it. It came out piping hot which I love!!I ordered a chicken enchilada and a carnitas taco and was truly impressed at how fantastic everything was. The carnitas taco was overflowing with these beautiful morsels of fried pork and fresh pico de gallo on top. My chicken enchilada came with a delicious red sauce (they let you choose between red and green), as well as cheesy beans, and fluffy rice. It was honestly perfect and exactly what I wanted. Not only does this place serve authentic delicious Mexican food but they have a full bar (yay!), they had live music the night we went which was really cool, and they also had the Giants game on. Pure Awesomeness. What more could you want?! The service was also really great. They let us take the last booth which was cozy and made our experience that much nicer. Our server was extremely helpful with the menu and very sweet. So happy we found our new go-to Mexican spot. Thank you to all for a really great experience.Came back here again yesterday. Ordered the carnitas super burrito and chicken nachos. The food here is fire . Staff is awesome. Keep up the great work and the great food!!

Delicious Chile Relleno and Crispy shredded beef tacos. Great chips & salsas, mild & spicy versions. I look forward to coming back for a Taco Tuesday with LIVE music.

I'm very happy to re-review this restaurant and rate them well. Now that we are back living on the peninsula we've been eating a lot of Mexican...having not had any real Mexican food for three years.Anyway, been to RLT many times in our four months back. Always great food and service. Green chilaquiles, carnitas nachos, and chicken enchiladas are my go-tos. All are great. Many years ago they served me some horrible chilaquiles. I think that was a one off experience. If you love good Mexican food go to RLT. I did yesterday

Wow, this place had amazing reviews so I was so excited to try it, and the food was ok, but I was most outraged by the price I paid and by the lack of integrity and dishonesty of the waiter (or deceptive practices of the restaurant's menu).....$5.00 for a can of coke, and the menu had fountain beverage price listed as $4.00, I have never paid more than &2.00 for a can. When I buy them at Safeway they are around fifty cents each when I buy a 24 pack. Also the burrito was listed on the menu for $15 but somehow the price was inflated to $17.95 on the check. I was in a rush so I paid it and left, but on reflection I really felt I was taken advantage of and exploited and the sheer dishonesty the waiter (young guy and this was around 1:30 pm on 2/14/25) had completely ruined the experience.Lastly, the food was served warm ish, not hot. Massive disappointment and I had to leave a bad review to warn others of the experience. Photo is posted as evidence.

I've driven by this restaurant for 30 years always saying I'm gonna stop and go in there one day. Well the other day me and my friend were driving down El Camino and I whipped into the parking lot telling him I've heard the food here is great and I've always wanted to stop and eat here. I had heard their Menudo was a legendary and being that it was a Saturday morning. It was on the menu. We sat at the bar to eat and the bartender who served us was absolutely awesome! She was lively and talkative and made you feel like you have been there 1000 times I ordered the Menudo and my friend had the Carnitas plate. The food was absolutely fantastic and the Menudo one of the best I've ever had. Along with the lunch we had a couple margaritas that were excellent. Great food and great atmosphere always guarantees a good time and we had a great time!

Best Chili Colorado and Mole on the planet. Awesome family owned, and a very fun place to eat.
