We came on a Tuesday lunch for my eldest's birthday per her request. About 1/2 the restaurant was full. Pretty and clean place. Especially the restrooms. It's about $30 per person after taxes and tips. But it's all you can eat BBQ. Meat was plenty and tasted good. I like the option of wrapping my bbq meat in salad and dipping it in sauce. There were plenty of sauce to choose from. The service was excellent. The checked on us and changed your BBQ plate several times. It was my first time there and I had such a great experience - reflected in the extra tips.

Went to Q-Pot for the first time for a birthday dinner with a group of five. Very disappointing. Although the restaurant is large and there were hardly any customers seated, there was a wait. We ended up being seated right next to the front door, which was very cold and windy, even though more than half the restaurant was empty. The tables there are very long and close together, and separated in two. We were seated at the far end of the table next to a window, with other customers directly behind and next to us. This made it impossible to get up and go to the "sauce bar." Controls for the "hot pot" had fallen off the table and were on the floor, and they were plugged into extension cords that looked like they were from 1968 - very unhygienic.Overall, the ambiance was meh - everything is black and gray, it's very dark and smokey, and not visually interesting at all. The entire restaurant, and especially the sauce bar and restrooms, were unusually dirty with garbage on the floor and elsewhere. Another customer stated that she was so disgusted that she opted not to use the restroom. Service was inattentive and had to wave down server several times to order drinks. The food was okay, but pricey for what you got. I've been to other Korean BBQ restaurants that were WAY better, cleaner, better service, better ambiance, so don't think I'll be going back. $265 for a party of five for dinner on a Thursday. Not sure if it was an "off" night, but won't be going back to find out!

The food and service was pretty good. I took my family and we were seated promptly with quick service. The price was around 33 per person, we really enjoyed the spicy pork bulgogi and their overall selection. If you're complaining about price, pay attention to the price or their drinks as that's an easy way to rack up your bill. Overall we'll come back, we did not have the garlic pork belly as mentioned in other reviews.

Pros:Table (4/5): We were a party of 6 with two burners, which was a really nice touch! It allowed us to cook the meat quickly and gave us plenty of space to enjoy the meal. Only thing is that it was close to other tables so we had to be mindful to not knock into each other. It was also the table closest to the DJ booth so it was a bit loud. Food (5/5): The food quality was delicious! The brisket (aka premium Chadol in the beef section) was my favorite. It pairs perfectly with the cheese corn, radish paper, rice, and brisket sauce. Beef Bulgobi, galbli steak, Galbi short rib and Pork cheek were good tooServers (5/5):The servers were excellent, bringing out meat quickly despite being busy. They also made sure to change our grill, refill waters, and assist with anything we needed. DJ Kodon (4.5/5): Didn't expect a DJ at a BBQ joint, but the RnB throwbacks were a pleasant surprise! I even found myself singing along to some songs I hadn't heard since high school and college. Only downside again was that we were right next to his booth, it was hard to talk to our group. Cons:Hostess/Front Desk (1/5): The big setback of the night was the hostess. They weren't great about calling names to seat you, so be prepared to hover around the host stand if you want to get seated. I received a text to check in with the host, which I did twice. They told me the table was being prepared and we'd be seated soon, but when I went to the waiting area, they never called our name or party size. We ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes before receiving a text saying we were taken off the waitlist because we "didn't check in." After going up to the front a third time, they sat us right away. Cleanliness (1/5):The iPad used for ordering was a bit sticky, and the floors were slick and slippery. The bathroom counters were also very wet, and there was an overstock of mouthwash--five large containers, which seemed excessive. I didn't feel comfortable using any due to concerns about potential tampering. Side Notes:Wait: We waited about an hour, but the food and service made it worth it! Sauce Bar: Don't forget to check out the sauce bar! I recommend the brisket sauce with green onions and a small drop of chili sauce. Parking: Ample parking available.

This was my second time visiting Q-Pot and it was as busy as when I visited last year. Goku is usually my go-to as it's closer to where I live. However, the quality at Q-Pot is much better than Goku and the prices are comparable. $32.99 for AYCE as of 1/4/2025. There is an iPad to add yourself to the Yelp Waitlist and the estimated wait times aren't always correct. For us, a party of 3, visiting at around 5PM on a Saturday (which we thought was early), we were told it would be a 1hour+ wait. We had no issue with waiting and actually only waited about 25 minutes before being seated. The iPad ordering system is very efficient and also comes with pictures of what each item is. I much prefer this ordering method versus having to order with a waiter. Our server (I didn't catch her name, but she was a nice young lady) was very attentive, changed our grill without us needing to hail her down, and keep our drinks filled. The brisket/beef belly quality was questionable when we visited because the meat was tough af... Very unusual for thinly sliced meat. At certain points in our meal, we believe they gave us tongue instead of what we actually ordered. The banchans aren't anything to write home about and they honestly didn't look the freshest. The DIY sauce bar could've been better kept and cleaned more frequently, but what can you do. Ventilation is not the best and you can expect to smell afterwards, but this is KBBQ we're reviewing. We were seated right by the entryway on the left side of the restaurant and got a waft of cold air every time the door opened. Requested to be seated elsewhere if that kind of stuff bothers you.

Came for a Friday night dinner, and we were told it's a 30-50 min wait. This place is packed with not just diners, but also people waiting around to be seated. Thankfully we got seated slightly sooner around 25 minutes.I'm a sucker for AYCE places that can combine hot pot and KBBQ. One of the biggest perks among the offerings are the giant oysters! I'm a huge oyster fan, so I was in foodie heaven here. Service was fantastic, and we left here stuffed. Definitely enjoyed dinner here, would definitely return!

QPot is my favorite kbbq spot in SJ (i also like their hotpot but kbbq more)This was one of my go to KBBQ spots ever since 2019 but after covid the meat quality kinda went down around 20' to 21' era but I came a couple times again this year and it's back and better - I like how the cuts of meat came out, it was delicious (compared to other kbbq places where their meats kinda suck). I love the sauce bar as well, it's always stocked up which is nice and I love that I have plenty of sauce options.Service was always pretty good, they are pretty consistent with grill changes and checking up on you if you need anything else ~

This restaurant was really good! It was my first time eating at a place that has both hot pot & Korean bbq. The server was helpful & explain how everything works. My party went on Friday around lunch time and was instantly seated when we arrived. Me & my party got the lunch ayce special and loved it. I would recommend this place if you crave hot pot & kbbq. I personally like how you order through the tablet. It quick and efficient. The only thing you can't order through the tablet is drinks in which you have to order that from your server. The kbbq was delicious & the ambience is enjoyable with friends around. There's lots of options of dishes to add to your hot pot & kbbq grill. Additionally, there is a sauce bar where you get to make your own sauce, if your unsure of a sauce mix to make the restaurant has recommended recipes listed out at the sauce bar.

I've lived around this area for all of my life, and I've never stepped foot into this place until recently. I would always see people lining up everyday though. I honestly didn't rlly expect much, but there was a long wait, but it goes by fast. Since this was our first visit, my fam wanted to try out everything, so we got both kbbq & hot pot. We tried out their soft tofu/tom yum/kimchi/miso soup for our hot pot base with veggies, sausages, & noodles. For kbbq, we got chadol beef brisket, beef bulgogi, galbi short ribs, shrimp, and sliced pork belly. The meat to put in the hot pot was rlly good and paired with the sauce gives it a new flavor. The grilled beef bulgogi was actually so good. It was already seasoned, so it was well flavored and tender. Honestly, the dinner price for this is pretty good. You get to eat pretty much anything you want for a max time of 2 hrs. Service was excellent, and the food was incredible. Only thing is the vacuum didn't rlly do much, so you'll definitely smell like bbq after you're done. Also, one of the side dishes were random, why is there mashed potato on the side? I haven't seen that as a side dish before. Other than that, the radish/kimchi/cucumber kimchi were good.
