This place is great. Clean, fast, friendly, and most importantly - Delicious! The menu changes with specials and seasonal stuff. But the basic poke formula drives everything. Since discovering them, I eat here once to twice a week. Ok, occasionally three times... The girl who runs the register is always fast and kind, even when several folks are shooting questions at her. She keeps the line moving. Over all I recommend this place for fast & fresh poke steps from the Sales force park, which is a great place to take the poke and eat it in a beautiful park in the center of the city.

Pokeworks offers a great poke experience, especially with the $5 off your first order when you sign up. I love the customizable sauce levels--light, medium, or heavy--and the variety of toppings that mix well with the sauces. The umami shoyu and serrano aioli are standout options. They cater to everyone, including those who prefer cooked proteins like lobster, chicken, or tofu. The outdoor seating is nice, but indoor space is limited to just two tables. The servers are friendly and generous with portions. Just a heads up, the lunchtime rush can get busy, so consider using the website to order ahead.

I've been coming here a lot ever since I discovered this place.Their poke is pretty fresh. They have a variety of toppings to choose from. The portion for the regular bowl is just enough for one meal. Service is fast with some seatings inside and plenty of seatings outside.

I was running errands in the neighborhood. Dropped by Pokeworks to pick up lunch on the way back to work. Restaurant is bright and clean. Food is ordered assembly style. The staff behind the counter knows what they are doing. I ordered a half rice/salad bowl with lobster and chicken. Rice to mixing ratio is just right. Bowl is not overpowered with rice and salad. Everything was fresh. This is a good light lunch.

Yo, Pokeworks, listen up, here's the deal,Ordered through DoorDash, thought I'd cop a meal.Delivery was quick, portions kinda thick,But the rice was day-old, man, that ain't slick.Ingredients fresh, variety's a plus,But some flavors? Man, they just don't bust.Toppings were skimpy, where's the love at?Could be better, now that's a fact.So if you're craving poke, give it a go,Just know it ain't perfect, they got room to grow.Three stars, Pokeworks, you got work to do,Step up your game, make it fresh and true.

Hmmmmm... 3.5 starsMy coworker picked up a poke bowl for me, so I have no idea what it's like inside. I ordered a salad poke bowl with spicy ahi and salmon. The bad:- the cuts of fish were small- they forgot the wasabi- they included edamame even tho I did not want edamame in my mix in- stomach started making noise while I was eating... questionable (good thing I have a cast iron stomach) - masago costs extra but they're prudent with their scoopsThe good:- because I got a salad, the meal felt very healthy - they have a sushiritto option- the chili crisp is delicious, and they were able to put it on the side upon request - it's near work- do get the onion and garlic crisp- the surimi salad and tofu is free (extra protein!)- never felt like I was running out of sashimi heheTip: order on their website for pick up as the current menu is usually up to dateSolid healthy lunch option.

I really like the freshness of their ingredients and how quickly I can get in and out of there for a lunch. The Poke Salad bowls are make your own or you select one off the menu and they make it right in front of you so you can provide input on what you want or don't want. A large bowl with three scoops of fish and a sparkling water plus a tip is $30. It seems pricey for lunch but for what you get compared to other options in the local walking area, I'll pay it. On my last visit, I sat inside with a friend and enjoyed the heaters by the window. Normally, I eat outside at a table. I hope they are able to continue operating in this climate.

Mediocre. The selection seems wide but the fish is terrible cut and the seasoning way too light. Can only imagine it is as popular as it is because of its location. Having to listen to the tech bros chatting in line almost makes the experience worse. This is like... the Proper Food version of poke, but at least you get to feel like you're a part of the experience. Didn't even bother taking a photo.

Solid spot, be sure to download the app if you are coming frequently you will save. The seafood is fresh and I can appreciate the optionality in flavors and topping variety they offer. Be careful not to add too much spice as the Serrano aioli and jalapeño combo can be a little overpowering. Service as quick and as friendly a bustling lunch spot can be. The location and proximity to outdoor seating make it desirable for a quick business. Note that there is no indoor seating so I wouldn't recommend this spot on a rainy day. My only gripe with this place is the price, at $20 for a decently sized poke bowl, it feels a little steep for downtown San Francisco.

Another office day, another new place to try. I've been trying to eat less red meat, so Pokeworks fit the bill. I went the build-your-own bowl option, where I got brown rice, spicy salmon and spicy tuna. You can pick your sauce to mix up the fish in, and the ponzu and spicy sauce was good but not really spicy whatsoever. I moved over the topping, and here's what I loved, serrano peppers and thai chilis! Not a lot of places have offer serranos, and the fact it's unlimited is awesome. The fish was good enough, not outta this world but satisfied the craving.I got the medium bowl which was $17 after tax, which is average for poke places, especially in SF. The portion size was perfect for a meal that was enough to make me not want to take a nap after. They do offer online ordering, but honestly, I like being in person to truly customize and get it at its freshest. Definitely adding this one to the lunch rotation!
