Service was great! It was our first time here. We all tried different plates and our favorites were the Chaufa Pork Belly without an added Fried Egg and the Chancho Adobado. Both were super good and full of flavor. My daughter initially order the Orange Spritz but it was not flavorful. We had to change it to a Diet Coke. The ceviche was okay and we love seafood so it was a bummer not all the seafood was cooked, most of it was raw and not even cooked in lime juice (curtido). The Mac-n-cheese was interesting. Don't have much a cheese flavor and it was chalky texture to it. Not sure why it was so yellow either. The ambiance was great, friendly and pretty roomy for a small restaurant. This place is definitely a hole in the wall type of restaurant and would definitely return to get the same dishes or try new ones.

Local eatery we were dying to try, ceviche was fresh and beautifully plated. Wife ordered the scallops and she enjoyed them. (Im not a scallops guy) Also got the churrasco and the costillas de res to share and extra yuca fries was a must, everything was perfect and cant wait to come back. BIG plus they are dog friendly on the patio and have a dog menu!

Arrived for sister's bday. We were the only ones outside and enjoyed the ambiance, heating lamps and food with my pup on the side. Service was good, food was good - my pup's food was a little slow to come but once it did, he swallowed it down - so must've been good!! We also was also to bring our own wine, corkage was $25 (i think or $35). Enjoyed it. Will return.

Fish chunks in the ceviche were way too large and were difficult to enjoy. Also tough to scoop up. Chicken empanada was different than what I expected -- it had powder sugar sprinkled on top and not the usual crust I'm use to for an empanada. Sangria was easy to drink but tasted more like juice than sangria. Overall, food seemed fresh but didn't hit the point for me. Service was great and the outdoor seating was nice on a sunny day in Bernal.

The paella & ceviche were absolutely delicious! The yucca was perfectly fried. The empanadas were big, had creative flavors, & well paired sauces. The ambiance was cool but quaint with a family feel. I typically go to Half Moon Bay or Pacifica for Peruvian. No more! Also the staff were kind & polite. We arrived an hour before closing with 2 more couples that later entered & none of us were rushed by staff.

I came here with a few of my coworkers for dinner last night and had a great time. My coworker made a reservation ahead of time on OpenTable for a party of 4 the same week. The restaurant is located near Bernal Heights and I drove up a lot of hills before we arrived. I did find street parking right next to the restaurant. We were immediately seated when we arrived and ordered some pisco sours and it was very tasty. We also got a mixed ceviche to share and it was a bit sour to my liking. I also wasn't a fan of the nuts in the dish. I ordered the paella since it was recommended by the server. I didn't like the flavor of the dish because it tasted like sewer water. I wouldn't get this dish again. Cool restaurant with a great vibe overall but wouldn't come back since I'm not a huge fan of Peruvian food.

I recently visited Piqueos and was very much delighted by the flavors and overall experience. The Ceviche Mixto was the first dish out, offering a fresh and zesty taste that paired wonderfully with the accompanying plantain chips. Then the appetizer, a beef dish that was tender, flavorful, and just the right introduction to the meal. The Arroz con Mariscos was a highlight. The seafood was fresh, and the rice was seasoned beautifully, creating a comforting and satisfying dish I loved the sauce, it was so flavorful and an absolute pleasure to eat. The Sangria deserves a special mention - it was delightful with fresh fruit slices that added a sweet and refreshing touch. It paired wonderfully with the meal and was a standout on its own.The service was great, the waitresses were all very friendly and even switched out our plates for new ones between the appetizer and the entree. Overall, Piqueos delivered a delightful dining experience. Everything was well-seasoned and delicious, making it a spot worth recommending. A solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy good food in a comfortable setting.

A Valentine's Dinner to Remember! Wow--what an incredible experience! We came here for a special Valentine's Day dinner, and from the very first bite to the last sip, everything was absolutely phenomenal! The chicken entree was bursting with flavor, the chicheron and plantains side plates were perfectly balanced, and the dessert "A sigh of a woman from Lima" was simply out of this world--every spoonful was pure bliss! We were truly amazed by how each dish was crafted with so much love and authenticity. And let's talk about the drink--a purple corn sweet drink that was so unique and refreshing! We've never had anything like it before, and it paired beautifully with our meal. The warm, friendly atmosphere and the incredible service made the experience even more special. We felt welcomed, cared for, and completely immersed in the flavors of Peru.If you're looking for a dining experience that excites your taste buds and warms your heart, this is the place to go! We will definitely be coming back. Gracias for an unforgettable night!
