Probably one of the best cortados I've had in SF! I came here on early Sunday morning. Store was surprisingly busy, and there seem to be a ton of locals grabbing their morning fix. Good amount of seating as well, but no WiFi. Staff is also super friendly! The cortado was perfect. Milk was pulled beautifully, awesome mouthfeel, and the espresso was also great. Served with some sparkling water, super traditional. Really impressed, will be coming back in the future!

Came here early one morning on my way up to the city and tried the matcha latte. Prices are steep but baristas are some of the kindest and the cafe interior is warm and cozy. I could see this being a cute study spot on the weekends or a nice place to grab coffee with a friend.Lots of milk options that can be substituted without charge which was a pleasant perk!

I have been to Pinhole coffee four times now. Experimenting with different items on the menu, such as the piccolo, a latte, cappuccino, scone and the Matcha latte (very smooth compared to other Matcha's I've tried. I think that the baristas use a syrup rather than a powder). The music is always recognizable to me when I walk into this café! They play stuff that really tickles my ears. Very cool vibe to the place! The decorations that are around the edges of the interior feature cameras, pins, posters and a readable menu. Very San Francisco niche designs in the bathroom too!The prices are steep for what you were getting in a cup, they emphasize quality over quantity, which is clear from the flavor of each beverage I've ordered. They have between two and three baristas at any time. Service is between five and 10 minutes for two drinks if it's moderately busy. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating has mostly very low tables, so be prepared to bend your spine if you dine inside.Worth the visit if you're in the area or a few miles away.

The coffee here is great! Very modern interiors, along with comfortable outside seating. They may be a bit busy in the mornings, with some lines. They don't collect your name or call names out when putting out drinks, so it can be a bit confusing. No dogs allowed inside, but they do provide rings where you can tie your dogs to so they can wait outside

On a quiet Sunday morning, I decided to explore a neighborhood gem: Pinhole Café. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, cozy ambiance that instantly reminded me of an old bookstore turned into a coffee shop. The vibe was perfect for a laid-back morning. The staff welcomed me with friendly smiles, which added to the overall charm. I opted for their matcha latte, a popular choice on the menu, and I wasn't disappointed. The presentation was adorable, and the taste? Pure comfort in a cup.Overall, Pinhole Café is a well-run establishment with a menu worth exploring. I'd easily give it a 5/5 stars!

Love their cappuccino! Had the pleasure of meeting Jason when I popped in - he was very friendly. They have a cozy spot indoors and a large outdoor seating area in case inside fills up.I arrived in between breakfast hours and lunch so there weren't a lot of pastry options but looking forward to arriving earlier next round. Seems like a local favorite, as it appeared that there were a handful of regulars that were kind and wanted to take a moment to meet my puppy.

Cute coffee shop. Nice ambiance and good service. I came here with my boyfriend on a Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't too busy, and there was no line. I ordered an iced Ginger Snap (seasonal flavor, I believe) Latte, and my boyfriend ordered a Sparkling Iced Matcha. The cups are quite small so the drinks are on the more expensive side. I liked my drink. The flavors were subtle. The coffee was good overall. It was a nice cup of latte. Both my boyfriend and I did not quite like the Sparkling Iced Matcha. Personally, I'm not a big fan of sparkling water so that was my reason for not liking the drink. For my boyfriend, it was the flavor combination. But hey, that's just us. Maybe you'll like it?

Lovely service, quirky cool atmosphere, and yummy vegan donuts! Oh okay, my review is too short to post. I was rather proud of myself for being succinct. So yes, the coffee is really really good here, so is the Matcha.
