A menu centered around pork? Say no more--I'm in. Nestled in the heart of the gritty Mission, the street vibes couldn't keep me away, and I'm so glad they didn't. From the moment we walked in, the owner herself welcomed us with warmth and excitement, setting the stage for an unforgettable food adventure.Think comfort-driven Asian flavors with a creative twist--each dish outshining the last. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the grand finale arrived: French toast with boba. Absolute perfection. One more thing--you won't miss the booze here. The extensive non-alcoholic drink list is just as thoughtfully crafted as the food, pairing beautifully with every bite. Trust me, go now. You'll thank me later.

F yeah this place. The Shrimp Toast is worth the hour drive from the South Bay. So unique. It's like a hashbrown shrimp on a buttered toast with sweet topping. Drive an hour alone to get it.The BoSsam is melt in the mouth good too. I love that you can get 1/2 orders so for 2 people it's perfect. The pickled dish is a great way to snack on stuff while you wait. Loved the wood ear mushroom crunch. The beef noodle soup...just for me was a tad too sweet. Not sure if its sugar added late, or added early, but it was overly sweet for me. But the brisket is tender and the noodles are great. But that shrimp toast. All day.

Loved the food at Piglet & Co! The shrimp and pork toast is to die for and a must order. The shrimp patty with ground pork paste on a light milk bread toast is the perfect combo. The pork belly ssam was also great, perfectly melt in your mouth and fun to wrap in lettuce and perilla leaves. We also got the beef noodle soup which was good with very tender beef but the soup itself was too sweet for my taste and we couldn't finish it. Finally we were tempted by dessert and the bread pudding with salted egg cream was good and a nice post meal treat. We were warned that it's a heavier dessert and definitely sweeter than most Asian desserts but we were happy to end on a sweet note.

Had to come back while Chef has the dungeness crab on the menu. Must have before it's gone. The pig face noodles were fire. The wings, shrimp toast and pork belly ssam are tried and true staples. Waiting for Industry Night for the return of the Belfast burger. Kick ass staff and great 80s flicks on the big screen

Such a great restaurant in the mission. Every few weeks this fall they've been bringing back their El Chino pop-up menu (well parts of it) on Mondays for those of us fond of their initial business. This menu had our favorite item of yesteryear ... the glorious Taiwan taco. The Taiwan taco scallion pancake, egg, shoyu sauce and much more. I love the scallion pancake's flaky crust and also the tenderness of the egg. It's such a good pairing especially with the side sauces. They had on holiday movies the night we went so it was a really nice atmosphere to enjoy nice warming food on a cold winters night. Definitely will return again for anothe el chino night or their weekend brunches.

I came here with a friend for Restaurant Week after having seen good things on Instagram. We enjoyed our experience! Good food and fun vibes. The Restaurant Week menu ($75 pp without tax and tip) started off with their fall salad and pickles. Both were yummy and fun! The salad was fresh and flavorful, and who can say no to persimmon in salad. The pickles were fresh, crunchy, and tangy. The next course was a wing, and surprisingly, this was the highlight of the meal!! I'm not usually a wing fan and my friend really does not like chicken, but we both thoroughly enjoyed it to tell you how good it was! Fried to perfection, perfectly crisp without being greasy at all. The buttermilk yuzu ranch was bombbbb. And there side sauces (one hot, one more onion-y) paired great with the wing as well. Love this one! I would have loved to have more than one :)The main course was pork belly wraps and roasted squash. Everything was solid, and the pork especially was very tender and flavorful. I'll say I would have loved a bigger portion on this one. The amount of rice and pork felt like it could have easily been for one person, not two. Dessert was a kind of tofu pudding with berries. To be honest, this was a bit of a letdown for me personally. It tasted very much so like tofu, the texture was a bit gritty from the tofu as well, and it wasn't exactly a great finisher especially for a decently pricey meal. Piglet & Co has some good things going for it - like those wings! I think my experience might have been even better if I had ordered a la carte, as I would have been able to get only things that sounded idea to me and I imagine the portions would have been bigger (though that's just my guess). Overall, it was a good experience!

Piglet & Co is a fun little spot that earns a solid 4 stars from me.First off, I've gotta say--love the naming of the dishes. It's clever and makes the menu way more memorable. The food itself is creative, with some definite highlights. The Honey Walnut Shrimp & Pork Toast is a great twist on a classic, and the Chashao Pork Ssam? Big fan.Not every dish totally hits, but overall, it's a great experience. The vibe is cozy, the staff is super friendly, and it's the kind of place that feels like a hidden gem. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Mission and in the mood for modern Taiwanese comfort food.

The savory flavors and textures here are so expertly crafted, biting into each dish is a delight that is enhanced by the Pickle Party. Theres a bit of a wait if you don't get a reservation but the #goodeats are worth it. Will absolutely come back one day!

A cute restaurant in the Mission area. Came here right after they opened in the morning and it was simi packed, very friendly & attentive staff. The decor is festive and reminded of Taiwan, red lanterns hung in the ceiling. The foods can be hit or miss, and in small size portion (my perfective). The presentation is very nice and eye catching. Love it when they give the fruits with the check, very cute!
