Philip Marks Chocolates

I just tried this chocolate for the first time at Whole Foods on Market Street where they were doing a demo..these guys really know what they are doing.. Decadent white chocolate with double roasted cashews and Japanese Sea Salt is to die for..They have a new product, called Orange Bark! I am In Love... it is the best Chocolate I have ever tasted in my entire life bar none... The Best!

I was at Draegers in San Mateo and their packing looked good. I like chocolate covered raisins and this baggie of dark chocolate bark with gourmet raisins was tempting. So I got it. While driving I couldn't wait to get into it so I did. I gagged and wanted to puke. I spit it out my window. Stopped at a gas station and had to get a snickers to get rid of the taste in my mouth. Now a snickers is a 5 star and much cheaper.

A friend brought me a bag of chocolate with amazing new flavor: Black Roasted Sesame Seed Bark. Wow, what a fun experience, slightly crunchy at first, then the delight fragrance of the toasted black sesame filled in my mouth. It is totally addictive. I am Asian and I love sesame seed in everything. I am happy that Philip Marks is developing a favor which fits Asian taste. Look forward to trying some other products from them.

I had the Dark Chocolate Cashew Bark with Japanese Sea Salt and the White & Dark Marbleized chocolates. The sea salt wakes up your taste buds and you can taste the richness of the dark chocolate. The salt definitely helps enhance the chocolates! Also the marbleized chocolate was great. I'm a fan of dark chocolates and the white & dark chocolate bars had mild taste of white chocolate but the star is the dark chocolate. If you see some Philip Marks chocolates, go grab a bag or two! Great chocolates!

Delicious chocolate and the raisin bark is phenomenal. It's hard to find though and I wish it was more available in local shops. It's carried on Amazon and can be purchased on the web site but it costs more to shop it than the little bag of chocolate costs. Best dark raisin bark out there. I also recommend PM add more to the little bag ...for the price it could do with some more pieces.
