Locally owned corner market near Kezar Stadium. Selection of cold drinks, snacks, beer & liquor. Prices are comparable to nearby shops. Sabba the owner always greets customers with a big smile and is happy to recommend what he has in store. Clean & spacious, open 9a-10p everyday which is appreciated for last minute supllies. Great place! Thanks!

Good for alcohol. Not very good if you need snacks on the go like we did when we stopped by. We ended up with chips and Oreos. I had been hoping for trail mix or a granola bar or something slightly healthy. Oh well.

Parkview Market used to employ a youngish man who always marveled at the Where's George $20 bills I would spend here, and 89 percent of the time, by the time I got home from playing pinball at nearby Free Gold Watch (https://www.yelp.com/biz/free-gold-watch-san-francisco?osq=free+gold+watch), those Georged bills would have been reentered by the youngish man. I always asked him to hold onto any Georged bills that came across his till, but I didn't come here often enough for him to really wait, so I missed a few even though he did hold onto them. Why am I telling this story all these years later? Well, Free Gold Watch removed most of the bulk-buying discounts that once existed, so instead of spending about $7 per visit, I now spend around $12. This means I use tens in FGW's change machines rather than only fives, and since I'm bound to have either tens or fives in my wallet most of the time, I don't often stop by Parkview Market anymore just to buy a $1.25 bag of peanut M&Ms and pay with a twenty so that I can get a ten and a five or three fives (plus those three quarters) to use on pinball.I haven't seen the youngish guy in a couple of years. I usually get the white-haired owner. He's also very nice. Now there's an even younger guy who works here sometimes. Two times ago, he looked at the Where's George twenty I gave him for a while before making my change. The last time I came here, my change included a Georged bill. Did he save it for me? I doubt it.I miss coming here as often as I used to. Everyone is friendly, and they don't sell expired stuff, which most corner stores in San Francisco seem to do all too regularly. It would be five stars all around except that there's a step at the entrance, so wheelchair users can't get change for their twenties here. Boo to that, but yea to the rest of Parkview Market.

This place is fantastic. It may look like just any other corner store, but it's probably the cheapest place to grab beer or wine in the city that doesn't sell in bulk. Screaming deals on most of the stuff here. For reference, a six pack of Sharkinator (that name though) or Guinness is going to set you back 7 bucks. Some other stuff hits about 6 dollars for a pack. Additionally, the hours are great. You can actually rely on this place for essentials in a pinch. Long story short, if you're in the neighborhood and need something last minute, this place is probably your best bet.

Best deals on beer in the city. And they run the gamut - all the way from dirt cheap twelve-rs of PBR to on sale Lagunitas or Prohibition Ale. They buy in bulk, store 'em in the basement and sell 'em cheap. Beer is about all I buy there, except for an occasional pint of reasonably priced ice cream - which they have many delicious varieties of, including soy, so I can't really comment on the wine, liquor or beef jerky, but they're so good at the beer that I don't go anywhere else. The owner and other workers are quick and extremely friendly. And what an idea: find good deals to keep prices reasonable (here they're amazing), maintain a clean store with quality products, and be nice. So simple, but so revolutionary in the world of booze shops. Cheers to Saba (the owner)!!!And for the drivers passing by, there is an often-open 20 minute parking spot right outside the door. Go there for your brews.

If you live in the neighborhood and want to pick up a pint of soy ice cream to devour while watching your fav romantic comedy... come here! The guys that work there are extremely nice! They're open till 10 sunday-thursday and open till 12 on friday/saturday. There is a 50 cent charge to use your card so bring cash if you don't want to be charged. =)

I literally never, ever write any reviews, even with negative experiences. But this I must.I was yelled at and cornered by (who is presume is) the owner to put down the later expiring milk I found further in the back because "someone has to buy the milk in the front that expires sooner". Why that had to be my problem, I don't know, but it's one thing to say what he said, it's another to repeatedly tell me that I *have* to buy the worse milk or get out.Edit: to add, for fairness, all other employees I've interacted with, especially later during the day, have been very friendly. I'm just bitter about my convenient neighborhood market treating me like this.

I love Saba, the owner, and he has great deals on a fine selection of beer and wine, too. He is friendly and helpful and thanks to him, we now enjoy Arak, a delicious anise liqueur from Lebanon. A neighborhood gem!
