Nice to have this option for European goods and I'm sure this is a great staple of their neighborhood. There's a good selection of items and plenty of fruit / produce , along with imported preserved meats, jams, canned fish, sweets and pastries (eg baklava, although what we got wasn't the freshest). Prices are quite high though - interesting the motto is rich man's quality poor man's prices. While the neighborhood is definitely high cost of living, similar groceries in Palo Alto or Mountain View are way cheaper with similarly large variety of imports so it's not worth the trip if you're based in the peninsula.

I never thought I would fall in love with this Parkside Farmer's Market, but I have. It's literally walking distance 1 block from where I am, and it's been fantastic. They have all the produce and dried spices I could need at my fingertips, which has been so amazing!!!!! So convenient to walk on over, and get a fresh bunch of cilantro, garlic, dried oregano, etc. The service here is great. I feel the cashiers are all friendly. The only thing I ding them 1 star for is the credit card minimum. I always have to use cash here, since I'm only buying 1-2 things at a time, but I guess that's standard. Will continue to support them for years to come!!!!!

An amazing pillar of the community. Small family owned businesses are few and far between nowadays, but they've stood the test of time. They offer delicious food at an amazing variety and quality standard. If I ever need spices, seasonings, or produce that might be hard to find, I know I can always grab it here. The staff works tirelessly everyday, and it's the same staff everyday. We all need to give workers like these grace and kindness (especially post 2020.) Sometimes they have a certain charm or stoicism about them, but they're sweet people who run an amazing establishment!

Parkside is the absolute best place to go for any Mid Eastern food or spice you need or want. Where else can you find chickpea flour, tahini and za'atar in the same place? Wonderful pita and Middle Eastern pastries. In addition to well priced fresh produce, they have a large selection of dried fruits and nuts You may even discover some thing you've never tried, but have thought about. The owner and people who work there wonderful and helpful.

I adore this Middle Eastern market; it's my go-to for finding Sangak bread (Persian lavash), sour cherry jam, and fresh, crisp Persian cucumbers. Recently, I needed assistance in choosing the right feta from their extensive selection, and the gentleman working there was incredibly helpful. I'm so happy to have this market not too far from my home

We just got moved to parkside/west portal neighborhood and I was pleasantly surprised to have found this local grocery store. I was looking for spices to make chicken Schwarma without buying the bulk from online but when I walked to this store, I saw different types of spices that are perfect for delicious middle eastern and Mediterranean cooking. I will be happy supporting local business like this where provide products that are diverse and unique.

Really good selection of produce dried goods... love the various dried fruit trail type mixes. The produce and fruit are all fresh and the displays are well stocked even 30 minutes before closing. The selection of juices and milk is a bit lacking... but there is a Safeway down the street.A couple of the cashiers are lacking and a bit anti social.... no greeting, no smiling and no "thank you"... they only say the amount due and it seems like you as a customer are bothering them.

This seemingly family run operation makes me smile on every visit. Such a great selection of produce and products. My Freekah headquarters. Great Baklava. Great teas, dried fruits, labneh. A serious selection of Marconi brand products from Chicago-land. Sport peppers and giardinera anyone? Helpful, friendly staff. Combine this with a visit to Guerra Quality Meats two blocks up and you are completely set up.

This market is truly a gem in our neighborhood. The quality and variety of fruits vegetables is so much better than Whole Foods. It's a full service market with everything you need. I am shocked by the prices, how inexpensive it is to shop here.
