The clerk asked to see my ID and he inspected it for something like 40 seconds. He didn't believe that my California Real ID license was real so I pulled up the DMV renewal document as my license had expired and while doing so, he abruptly said, "I cannot serve you." He spent 5 minutes checking to see if I was really over 21 years of age (which I am with legal documentation and proof) before he allowed me the option to purchase the Dalwhinnie 15. The listed price on the shelf was $44.99, but it rang up as $99.99. He did not honor the price listed and was extremely rude and unpleasant overall. Looking at a select few of the lesser extremely overpriced bottles on the shelf, I would've spent over $500 there that day alone. Now, you guys won't get a penny. The clerk in question was a bearded Asian fellow with glasses. I am NEVER going back there. P.S. I would say 90% of all the stuff there is severely overpriced so I would avoid it either way. The E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof was listed at $699.99

Do u know the story behind these stores and vendors with the simple goods and drinks and chips. So many in SF. There are so many that u don't go to...maybe in New York...interesting study.

Went to buy a 4 pack of cider marked 12.50 for a 4 pack but the female clerk rang me up for $17.00! I said something to her but she just looked at be blankly! I felt like it was a scam and I didn't appreciate it!

Park Presidio Liquors is a mini whole foods without the prep. foods, coffee, and produce. a little bit of many gourmet items available (dave's bread). everything neatly organized. beers all priced. interesting selection.brew: "ninkasi-the devil wnt down to oregon" (5.99)-imperial dark rye beer, 7.2%-smooth stout with no bitterness (hops)worth trying, not the typical ninkasi ale beer.3.5 stars for the beer.

My favorite corner store, it has everything you could think of and then some. It's very clean and the prices are fair for the convenient location. The staff is great, and I will continue to be a loyal customer!

My favorite of the many Richmond corner stores. Great selection of random items. All the folks here are great. Just the right level of interaction, friendly but I won't get stuck here in a conversation too long. The most convenient of convenience stores.

Edit: OK so I havent seen the mean little man in awhile. Perhaps this review caused them to change staff. A nice lady and nice younger gentleman are there now . He rpcies are still alittle steep. But it is what it is. so up the star value to 3 for being standard. I will say they do have a decent selection of wines, given the area.Gigantic JERKWAD! The owner is this odd Korean man who feels it is OK to charge 2-3 times the going rate for water. and other drinks. For instance a 1 liter bottle of Crystal springs water, the kind that costs $0.98 at Safeway is $2 here! Want a bottle of Evian, I believe the mini faced squishy eyed man had the NERVE to say $4. Jahg Offh!I hate going to this place but often find myself stuck going here after 9pm because most everything else is closed in the area. Sometimes I'll hoof it up the mini hill to save a few bucks at the corner store on 6th and Clement. The cashiers are nicer too. This guy looks at everybody like they are going to steal from him. I woalk in there with an Armani suit and he would look at me like I was a thief. NOt only are his drinks high way robbery but everything else is. I have not found a single product that was even remotley close in price to what is offered just one block away. I paid almost 7 dollars for 2 x two liter bottles of soda. WTF? I seriously hate this place now and will never patron it again. Especially since this 50 pack a day, weezled eyed, little man complex slapd1cK charges an insane amount for a bottle of water without providing as much as a smile or greating when I walk in. Or even the common courtesy to lube before he F@#$ me in the a$$. OH yea minimum $10 charge for CC's.

EDIT: The owner saw my review and apologized for the issue I ran into with the pricing (see her post below). She assured me that she has spoken with her staff and that in the future, the clerks there will handle the situation differently if it arises again. I appreciate the fact that she reached out; it speaks to the small, local business identity that this corner store has.My previous post: BEWARE. The owners run a scam with their beer prices. On THREE separate occasions I have gone in to buy a six pack and they have rung it up for 2-3 dollars more than the price listed on its shelf. On two of those occasions the clerk has tried to haggle with me, charging another $1.50 more than what was listed. Do not fall for this bait and switch b.s. Shady business owners that do not deserve your money.

Ya, ya, I know. A review for a neighborhood corner market may seem silly, but when it's after 10 pm on a Wednesday and you're really craving Ben & Jerry's ice cream and root beer, you'll be glad to know that Park Presidio Liquors is only a few blocks away and still open. This little corner store is a regular stop for us. It has an ATM (which has become our de-facto bank), and everything from Theraflu to Mac 'n' Cheese, as well as a variety of pop and beer. They also have a nice selection of wine at reasonable prices. I only wish they opened before 11 am on the weekdays. The owners are super nice and they have dog treats behind the counter so when we have our dog in tow he gets to practice catching treats in mid-air.Minimum $10 to pay by credit cardATM fee $2.0020 ounce Coke $1.80Ben & Jerry's pint $4.00
