Good news everyone! They now accept EBT!! My mom and I came in today looking for some dried ginger snacks. While in line waiting to pay, I notice a sign above their register saying they accept EBT!Also, they have a new owner. A younger couple it seems. They seem nice. One of the original lady still works there. She's been training the new owners how to and what. The store is brighter, they changed the watts on the bulbs. Which is nice for elders which bad eye sight. Their sections seems a bit cleaner and organized.

As a local and living in the city of San Francisco Ca for so many years... This is the one store that I have been going to for years and years as kid teenager adult and still today this Pang Kee Bargain Market is still here!!!I still go to this Pang Kee Bargain Market when shopping with my parents and my auntie & with my late grandma... The things that I remember most about this Pang Kee Bargain Market in the past!!! Is when the Chinese New Year comes around we would buy all kinds of goodies like Biscuit Cookies Beef Jerkey and all kinds of candles for gifts to give to our family relatives in the past!!! And we still do it today!!! And another reason is why... I like coming to this Pang Kee Bargain Market!!! Is when the Moon Cake Day comes around we usually buy the Big Box of Moon Cake!!! And for myself, I like to buy the Mini Size Box that has one Moon Cake in it!!!This Pang Kee Bargain Market is not only good for us!!! It's also good for tourist that comes from another city and Us State or another country... This store is a really good place to buy items... That are not to expensive!!! But some things are not cheap it all depends on what you buy!!!

This store, I will never come back again. Bad customer service, attitude problem and too crowded; I experienced asking a question for certain item they were rude and giving attitude about where the item was located, I couldn't find it so I asked again they start yelling at me. I was thinking what in the world, so I told them I'm a customer and asking for the exact item location. If they can be exact or nice who will want to buy it here, to be honest I rather go two store down. Their customer service are way better than this.

One of the places we always go to in Chinatown for snacks! Their prices are better than many other shops, both in Chinatown and in the Sunset. It's a pretty small store, but the shelves are full of goodies. I have memories of frequenting this store since I was a kid, and the boss lady has been at the cashier since as long as I can remember. She's still going strong! She's always talking loudly and yelling something to someone in the store, which I'm used to by now. She also sometimes miscalculates your change, so just a heads up when checking out. My childhood favorites were the dried mango, dried fish sticks, and dried octopus. For a while, I would come here to get the spicy Tao Kae Noi seaweed that nowhere else carried, but alas they have also stopped carrying it. In the far left row, all the way in the back on the right side, they have a section specifically for Haribo and Trolli gummies - some of the best prices you'll find on them without being on sale! My dad gets his Chinese sauces and seasonings here as well. Yeah the place is tiny and not the cleanest, and cardboard boxes are the main form of display - but it's cheap and has a charm about it!

Pang Kee Market has candies, cookies, fruit drinks etc. in crates and boxes literally blocking the sidewalk. not as bad as oaktown nor a block over at the produce markets on stockton st. near the ping yuen housing units but it's noticeable.been inside before, they have a vast assortment of bulk candies, dried fruits, etc to choose from.felt fhirsty. saw some fruit type drinksDrink: grab a can of guava juice(.50) paid the guy watching out for shoplifters and went on my way. tasted as good as any bobba drink i could have gotten elsewhere.

A very crowded/cramped fully stocked store but it's always an adventure to see what goodies you'll find here. I go back each and every time I'm in SF. Check it out!
