As I am filling up the box to write my review, Yelp reminds me that this is an update review. I don't remember my original review, so I write and submit this as a new entry.I'm not qualified enough to discriminate between the tastes of the different regions and provinces of the Philippines, but they obviously pride themselves on Pampaganian flavors as they project that with their restaurant name.I can vouch that these folks serve up fresh hot food from their kitchen, Turo-turo style, which means you just point at the ready-made dish you want and they serve it to you.As for the taste, I don't find their flavors to be anymore distinct than the other Filipino places to set them apart other than that I kindly say their dishes seem more bland, but of course, that's a matter of personal opinion. To be sure though, they have a wide variety of options and I haven't tried all of them. And as this place goes, their presentation is about as bland as well, very utilitarian without any aesthetic considerations other than boxes of supplies also piled around the dining area. Oh, they did put decorative tablecloths on their tables, that's a plus.Their location is at a pretty unremarkable strip mall at a busy intersection, so they are busy. It's a reliable place to go, I support them for their well-being as a solid provider of ethnic dishes and the folks there are super nice.I give them props for their staying power in an area that has a relative high concentration of Filipino food competitors, so something must be working in their favor. All in all, maraming salamat po for your services to the community.

Honestly, I just go here for the Turon. It is my absolute favorite! The turon is always so fresh, flavorful, and crispy. The place is really small but not always crowded (which I don't midn). Staff is always nice when I come here, too. I have yet to try their other food, but the Turon is a MUST TRY!

I remember going here many years ago (90's) and the food was pretty decent, to my recollection. What also made it memorable was my cousin, who was a FOB, said something that was hilarious, but not gonna share it here because it's inappropriate. At approximately 1000 hours, Thursday, August 12, 2021, I was waiting for my haircut appointment and decided to grab some breakfast from here. Silly me, I didn't check the reviews and based my decision on my fond experience here.I got a two-item combo meal $12.59 (kinda steep) and chose the Ginataang Manok (Yellow Chicken Curry) and Pork Sisig. I got in my car to eat and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. The Ginataang Manok is a Filipino Curry dish that is cooked with coconut milk. Their dish, although it looks decent, was very bland and lacking in flavors. But the Pork Sisig is a crime to all Filipinos. It tasted like it was a chopped-up, leftover meat from the previous day. This thing was dry, stale, crumbly, nasty and had a funky aftertaste. A Sisig is supposed to be seared on a hot sizzling plate or similar with chucks of crispy fat and burnt ends. This Sisig was pathetic. In fact, I made a better Sisig this weekend as I used pork ear and parts of the face to make my version. And Pampanguenos always brag that their food is the best Filipino dishes in the Philippines. This Ilocano would say otherwise and I didn't bother finishing their food. A lot of corners being cut here and it's just plain lazy.

Don't let the hours fool you! They are open on the weekends! With that said, ordered a 100 piece turon tray last minute and they were able to accommodate! When I picked up the food, I noticed their food counter and it look delicious!I'll be back to try the mains

Went for some bfast Phillipine grub. Found myself in a small strip mall in Daly City choosing some authentic dishes behind a shield of glass in a divey cafe. Yelp says it's closed today, but it's not. Food is average but decent tasting and filling. Lots of options to choose from. They serve the usuals; Beef Caldaretta (beef stew w/veggies),Sisig (flavorful choice chunks of chicken, pork or beef), chicken and pork adobo, BBQ chicken and pork skewers, rice, noodles and so on.. But today.... They had Embudito! As an American, I can describe it as a Philipinno meat loaf. So obvi, I grabbed a loaf of that. Yumm.Definitely a 'cheapy go-to' resto.

Just don't get the taro leaf. Tastes great but there are little rocks in there bc of poor cleaning. Otherwise great, the pork with mayo, the cantaloupe drink, so good.

Why do I always keep this giving this place a chance? And every time it just brings me disappointmentToday I went ahead and ordered their long silog for my dad and sadly what I got was 2 pcs of longonisa, one pc was cooked today, the other was a reheat from yesterday and that pc they cooked it with their tocino. Originally I was going to order their tocino but looking at it, all I can see was the oil and how deep red the color of it was.Another turn off, I smelled smoke, like the cooks were smoking in the kitchen which made me want to just leave the place. (As a former smoker, yes I can smell when someone is smoking).-I know this place has been around for a long while now, but just because you've been around for a while and have built a loyal clientele please don't feed and sell reheated or day old food as if they were made that day.

Food was great except for the lumpiang gulay. Cmon Pampanga's Cuisine! Don't do the disgraceful act of using FROZEN MIXED VEGGIES instead of bean sprouts, sweet potatoes, etc. don't shortcut. This place has so much potential Please also do the authentic sisig.
